Had takeaway on Easter weekend, the restaurant was really busy and waited for nearly half hr. Ordered NZ lamb, Dog puppet, baby beef and big shoulder. Lamb was juicy and tasty, love the sauce. Baby beef was good but a bit dry.
The food is so fresh, delicious and at a great price! New favourite food spot in Hamner I highly reccomend. Great for the whole family trust me 10/10 atmosphere, food and service.
Best burgers/ fries π I have ever had! I live two hours away and I would drive here for this! My friends and I had the honour to try their food! And we absolutely loved every single bite! Also amazing staff so friendly and kind!
Fantastic! I'm definitely going back. The burgers are amazing, great selection, and the chips are on point. Hot and crisp. The atmosphere is a cool diner with the Duke box and the old cartoons on the TV. If you're looking for the best burgers in Hanmer, this is the place place to go.
Beautiful spot. First time coming to hanmer spring. And came across these guys. Small but awesome. Nice size menu. But the food is amazing. Flavorful and friendly staff aswell kapi to you team of boulder burgers.

The Loaded Fries are the best, we as a family have decided to try and come here every weekend instead of having fish and chips. (We live in Culverden) The young lady at the counter is just lovely and the Chef makes really good burgers. You won't regret getting a feed from here.
I had them lamb sandwich. It wasn't my favorite combination. It is too much fried food for a single burger. Also it needs a little oomph to It. Everything was fresh and the flavor was fine.
What a hidden gem this is. I have had burgers at every burger joint in Auckland and Boulder Burgers didn't disappoint.
I had the Firebird burger (swapped the chicken to a beef pattie) and it was the most amazing burger I've had in a long long time.
The combination of sauces and flavours are on point. We also tried the Boulder burger and the Herbivore (veg friendly) and they were amazing too.
If you get to Hanmer Springs and are fond of burgers, do not skip this place π

Came to Boulder Burgers for dinner on a Saturday night.
Diner aesthetic was really cool.
Got myself a Boulder Blue burger with fries and a soda.
Boulder Blue burger was really good, steak in the burger was perfectly cooked, veges in the burger were fresh and the blue cheese really made the taste of the steak pop.
Well cooked and seasoned fries.
Was a small wait for our food, but given it was a Saturday night, the wait was very acceptable.
Would definitely return here, worth the trip off Hanmer's main street to come here.
Burgers were just okay and a bit pricey for what you actually get.
We were quoted 20 minutes for pick-up, and when I arrived, I was turned away saying it would be another 10 minutes.
Fries were tastey, however, I think we got the bottom of the bag.
There are only 2 booths, and some bench top seating, so dining in may not be an option for you.
