Recommended by the motel we stayed at. Easy walk up to restaurant. Large dining room and welcoming staff. The cheese garlic bread was excellent. Large mains of a usual range of options. The Angus burger hit the spot. Would be great for families and large groups.
Very friendly staff, prompt service and the lamb shank was amazing - first time I’ve had roast beetroot and I now think it’s the best way to eat beetroot! Some Dairy Free and Gluten Free options on the menu (Lamb Shank has DFO).

Great dinner with friends, food was nice and we all enjoyed our meals. Only complaint is the squid was quite expensive ($17) for only 6 bits but otherwise it was good 🙂
Had a fabulous experience here. My Sister celebrated her 65th Birthday. We could not fault it. Staff went out of their way to make it special. Music. Happy Birthday followed by a complimentary Baileys. Thank you Team Vintage.
We went for dinner at The Vintage whilst holidaying in Hanmer Springs. There was 15 of us in total, and they happily made space for us with only an hour notice. The staff were very friendly upon arrival and checked to make sure everyone was there before ordering. We ordered the garlic bread as an entree and it was quickly named "the best garlic bread I have ever had." Then, we didn't have to wait long at all for the mains and every single dish was absolutely amazing. The meals here are reasonably priced and are some of the best meals we have ever had at any restaurant. Because our main meals were so delicious, we all had to get dessert and they were just as amazing. I cannot recommend coming here enough, the chef and staff were all amazing and the food was some of the best quality ever seen.
Happy hour 3 to 5 Weekends. All tap beers. Geisen wines included. Great service.
Great plase for a nice warm meal. Ordered Pan fried Blue Cod and Chips and my wife got the Falafel Wrap with Wedges and the kids got pasta. Great flavour, BIG portions and quick to serve! Highly recommended
Great food, but was let down by service on drinks etc. Very relaxed atmosphere.
The food and service was great. A couple in our group had the burgers which looked delicious and they were very happy with it, I had the spaghetti which was cooked perfectly. Will happily go back again
The food here was really good. Our table ordered Tuscan Salad, Satay Chicken Skewers and Spaghetti, followed by Cookies and Cream Cheesecake, Sticky date pudding and Chocolate Brownie. The Grant Burge Shiraz was delicious.
The salad was excellent, fresh and with a generous assortment of leafy greens, mixed tomatoes, fine slivers of red onion and moist chicken chunks. The satay skewers were devoured by our 12 year old and the spaghetti was actually served al dente with shredded chicken, all coated in a light oil with chilli and fresh parsley. The brownie was perfectly warmed and served with just the right amount of icecream and chocolate sauce. The chef is good, the staff are friendly. Yes, the decor is tired and dated, but you won't care, because the food is worth it. 😉
