Definitely can't beat Spams chip shop! Best fish and chips in town. Especially topped with crispies� did laugh when a man asked me what they were after I'd ordered. My response was " ooo you can't get fish and chips with out crispies. They're free so order some!" Bloody lovely!

Excellent chippy. - Dripping fried. - Fresh cod. - Great location. - Fair prices, all considered. Works for me. Last time 2 large cod and chips fed 2 hungry adults and 2 hungry children with leftovers.

Rarely come across nowadays, but always nice to see, a good old fashioned British chippy. Lovely bit of cod and chips to eat by the seafront and I've even forgotten it's raining. Just need a cuppa tea now to wash it down.

35 years I have now lived down south and for the first time today, I walked into a chippy and asked for 'scraps' and not only did they know what I was talking about but they asked if I wanted them on the chips or wanted a bag full ! Well done Harwich chippy Pieseas... oh and lovely chips they were too fried in beef dripping..
