I have been here multiple times. The food is delicious, the wine is wonderful, and the staff are happy and helpful. This is business with a lot of love and passion that these brothers have invested into the place and you can feel it. Today I went and there was a barbie themed pink event to celebrate for the release of the new movie, wonderful way to bring some fun into a regular day, and to make it better with the pink theme they are donating to breast cancer awareness. A wonderful place with wonderful atmosphere, would recommend to anyone. Cherry on top is that they are dog friendly! Thank you everyone at brother!
What a spot! Amazing menu with a range of options that would satisfy even the most discerning of foodies. I opted for the Kimchi Waffle which was bursting with flavour…an oral kaleidoscope if you will. Love the fit out which is modern, has a really nice indoor/outdoor flow and an expansive deck that looks across the vineyard. Big shout out to the team there who run a very tight ship. Thanks guys, will be back for round 2 soon!

What a fantastic restaurant for lunch/brunch. The food was amazing with a very varied menu. Everybody and our group was more than impressed with the food. It’s great to see another new thriving business.
I love the setting, and the food was delicious. I want to return.
Some time later. I returned with a group of cyclists from Rotary Ahuriri Sunrise club. Service and food was excellent.
Great food and lovely attendant wait staff. Great cabinet food with such a good variety. Lovely surroundings but on a cold windy day was rather draughty as customers were in and out the doors with the wind blowing in. Lovely outdoor area with heaters which people were enjoying even on the coldest blustery day. Coffee was great as was the food and we didn't have to wait long.
Alcohol is served and the strawberry bubbles is to die for, when I did get the one I ordered, many thanx to the staff that picked that up, she was on to it. You can also do a wine tasting and purchase , good to know if you've got the time.
Will venture back on a somewhat warmer day.
We visited during their 1st week of opening and we were not disappointed! From its curbside appeal to its little vineyard in the back, this busy cafe did amazing from the food and tipples to their service. They tried really hard to accommodate our large group even though they were already busy. They had a young talented lady on her strings and vocals which added to the already very cool vibe of the place. A definite must visit if you’re in the area. They didn’t do reservations when they first opened but unsure of the situation now?
Such an amazing venue. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a unique family oriented experience. Everyone made us feel like we were part of their “family”. I highly recommend Brother to anyone coming to the area. We will be back

After hearing about it from friends and family, we have decided to go there, very friendly staff, very quick service while they were very busy and very good food but our coffee arrived in takeaway cup and lady who served us she has apologized for it but in the end we shouldn't have takeaway cup, we never do takeaways at all for environmental reasons and also coffees were just warm, probably been sitting at the accunter to be picked up!! I don't know but we will go back again see what happens

I recently visited Brother with my friend and I must say it was spectacular! We ordered the croffle and the eggs Benedict and split it between us. The croffle was fluffy, full of flavor and definitely not dry in the slightest. The eggs Benedict was a magical experience on my taste buds, it was wonderful. You can tell that everything was made with the best quality ingredients. The atmosphere of this place is so great and the view of the vineyard is also amazing, it really captures the beauty of the place. Brother had a really good interior-exterior flow so it’s really nice on a sunny day. On top of this we had the most amazing server, Izzy, she was able to recommend meals and drinks to us and she had lots of knowledge on the menu. She was incredibly nice and she even checked up on us to make sure everything was okay and that we were enjoying our food. I always say that great service makes for a great meal and Izzy definitely made that a reality. Overall, I’m very impressed and will be coming back soon!
