Whole Family ate Beautiful fish, (white & chunky) with crispy batter. chips (were not dry), spring roll delicious, hotdog tasty. Our order was on Time. with great customer/friendly service. This is our fish & chip shop For life!

Best little Fish n Chip Shop ever! I always have Fish n Chips when I visit my hometown. I've never found a great Fish n Chip Shop in Christchurch, they never taste as good as the North Islands. Last night I headed to Nolantown Takeaways after my sister-in-law recommended it. The fish was fresh, succulent and absolutely delicious. The chips were the best I've honestly ever tasted. Light, crunchy and there was no sign of fat on them or in the wrapping. I'd almost swear they weren't deep fried. The whole meal was so divine, I convinced mum we should have it all again with an extra fish for us both to enjoy. Believe me...you'd be hard pressed to find better in the whole country.
You won't be disappointed, you'll be back for more.

Come from Auckland and hated the fisheries as it was always over killed with batter. Nolatown Fisheries, hands down,the best if ever tasted,fresh and on point. Good service.
So glad we found this place. Best fish n chips in town. Delicious. Good service. The place itself needs a coat of paint and/or a big clean, looks very tired
Beautifully crispy chips and friendly service! Love the shop, has heaps of decor and personality. Huge menu selection and gluten free (not coeliac) options too. Price is reasonable for the product a and service.
