Great selection of food to choose from. The lady owner always has a lovely smile and makes time to ask how you are doing which is special. Our grandchildren love their donuts and I prefer the yummy apple iced buns.
Alway good pies! They also do yummy curry puffs, cakes & cream donuts! On a busy day there might be a short queue. Lots of parking outside. Great for a cheeky lunch or afternoon snacks.
This is our local bakery , so know it pretty well. On the rear occasion it closed , xmas etc the family always crave their pies, they also do a good Vogel Sammy , the cream donuts are allgood too.
Their banoffee pie is the reason I go here. There is a family size one but I buy the small one which is actually plenty for two people - I mostly share it. Everything about this pie is perfection. Not too sickly sweet - delicious.

I grew up with this bakery as I lived like 5 mins walk away. I have since moved away from the area but still love coming back here. Still the same owners which says alot in itself. The prices have gone up over the years but that is probably due to inflation, I remember when the Chocolate Caramel Slices were a $1! That is one of my all time favourite slices, though the Raspberry Slice and Ginger Slice are also my other fav's from here. Still my most favourite pies also. The Steak and Cheese is great, also the Potato Top. But I have tried most of the pies from here over the years and they are all still tasty and the same recipe no doubt. Probably also why I like it so much it hasn't changed. The place was updated a few years back and is always clean. If you are in the area, I would recommend you stop in!
They have got the BEST PIES! Their broccoli and mushroom is just amazing, I’ve had that a minimum of thrice a week, I travel for it especially! Great permanent addition to their daily pies especially for all the vegetarians out there.
And, their steak bacon & cheese one is my partner’s absolute favourite! GOOD JOB GUYS! Photos don’t do justice to how good they actually are!

I know longer live on Palomino but will drive over from Glen Eden if my children or I feel like bakery food.

Plenty of options here!! Got the steak and mushroom pie, it was ok, perhaps I should have got the steak and cheese. Everything else was mean. Will need to go back again to taste the other pies. Great service though! Remembered my whole order.
Honestly, have to say the best bakery in all of Auckland. .Nothing beats their tender meat fiiled pies hands down , of course finish with a custard pie. Owned by the same people since I can remember.

The single most amazing bakery I have ever been too. The meatless steak and cheese pies. Creamy potato top. With a large selection of many pastries and fresh baked breads as well as desserts and sandwiches. Surely there will be something that will have you coming back. Personally the custard twists are divine and better that any other I've ever had
