Had a great lunch with my wife today. We ordered Steak and Chicken Schnitzel, food was cooked to perfection, a very friendly and helpful team handling the restaurant. It is a lovely and cozy restaurant, no wonder it is always so busy here. Not to forget great coffee!

Went in for a quick bite, hadn't been to Copper Kettle for a number of years so surprised to see a complete revamp of the ordering area and items available. The restaurant was busy, staff were friendly and meals we ordered arrived in good time. They were large and tasty so price paid was well worth it. The coffee was right temperature and the alternative milk options available is plentiful. Will diffinitly go back when in town next.

Love the copper Kettle and have done since arriving in December 10/10 Can get quite busy but the staff are just superb and the food is great. Such a shame H&J are closing. Hope they open independently somewhere else.

Ordered ribeye steak medium with prawns, twice cooked wedges, salad and garlic sauce. Cooked perfectly, very tasty meal and a good size.
My wife ordered for the price the best blue cod and chips with salad available in southland.
And the coffee was great as well
We popped in to try some Southland favorites and were not disappointed! Delicious cheese rolls, custard square, cinnamon oysters, and more! Also very accessible from the top of the H&J's parking building for disability access 👍

Good food at reasonable prices. Not cheap but pretty reasonable for downtown Invercargill. Be sure to check out the specials under the menu, which we didn't see until we'd eaten, but they had some really good ones like a venison burger, which is quite rare! I had the pasta and it was really quite good.
Well, we were reluctant to go to copper kettle( because of previous experiences) but decided to give it a try again. Oh, what a surprise!! it was so welcoming, friendly and excellent meal, that we went back again for a second time the same day. We out of town people, but when we come shopping to Invercagill. Ps. That was way back then , we came back. And experienced same upper level in food, atmosphere etc but service declined. One never clean dishes from the table when customer still sippes on coffee. That is low key and make one feel that it's time to leave or sorry, we're short of crockery
The resturaunt was very clean and well presented. The staff were very friendly and great to deal with. The food was absolutely top notch, loved the food we had the blue cheese burger and the chicken burger best burgers we've ever had.
