Lovely first time visit and we'll be back
Some of my family has been going to the Kaikanui Tavern for years, so when I went myself for the first time I could see why they come! The food is nice and super affordable, as well as drinks. We got 2 lemon lime and bitters, and 2 cokes for about $15, and four of us got meals for under $60. When I think of a pub or tavern, Kaikanui Tavern hits the mark spot on. We even went when there was live music which was lovely. Would recommend.
Great atmosphere. Everyone singing and exchanging war stories. Lots of laughs. Was surprised at how busy it was for a Sunday night. Reasonable selection of pokies too.
People at this pub are all very friendly food is great quality drinks are reasonably cheap
I think this is a nice pub to hang out with. Just been here twice, but I like the ambiance.
Was okay. Obviously have some sort of games night each night of the week. Tuesday was Poker. Very load MC. Not what I go in to a bar for. Just like a nice quiet pint. Good good and beer limited but okay

If you want some atmosphere and a dance on a Saturday night this is the place.

Great pub kiwi. Pool tables dart board big screens for all the sports. Good selection of pub tucker. TaB terminal and pokies if your keen a flutter
Laid back easy going old style pub. Love the staff, they make the best toasted sandwiches. We go there quite regular for a quick lunchtime break.
