Meals tasted and looked fantastic and arrived swiftly.
The portions are VERY generous!!
I have eaten at many restaurants that have charged way more for their meals and they have not been executed with half the skill or taste the chef at Orana achieved!

Great chef, you have lovely food and plenty of it. Nobody goes from Orana hungry, that's for sure. Every time we have been, we haven't been able to finish meal .
Despiteca rather slow start the food and service were excellent. The presentation was delightful, the portions too large!!! BUT we'll cooked. Ice touch to put apple in the salad. I will be back.
Dinner was superb best restaurant pork belly and yummiest baileys sunday would recommend staying and eating there 😊

Didn't stay at the motel so can't rate there. . But we did dine in for dinner. FOOD was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL not what we were expecting at all for what the place looked like. Esbestos ceiling made me feel a uncomfortable . Could really do with a revamp liven up the place to match the menu. LOVED the
Best kept secret in New Zealand! I’m convinced a Michelin Star chef is hiding out in North New Zealand at a run-down old motor inn. The steak here is one of the best we’ve had anywhere and the sides were just as phenomenal. We’ll be going back for dinner again tonight. 😂 Ignore the ancient wood pane
Had an amazing meal here - wow!! The food was outstanding and sooo big! No room for entree and main or main and dessert. Everyone took home half their meal. Definitely be back.
Love this place! I have stayed here for a month and all i can say is that Jackie is so amazing, very helpful and so cool. The rooms are well maintained and location is accessible to grocery store and 24 hr convenience store. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Will surely comeback
Staff are really friendly and accommodating. Food is yum and well sized. Room I stayed in is cosy and clean. A good bang for your buck. Always enjoy staying here :) 👌.

I was not staying here, but was lucky enough to get a table for myself (as travelling for work) and am I glad I came here!! Most delicious lamb shank with bacon, creamy mushroom sauce and veggies. Beautiful service and food. Excellent effort made with food presentation and quality. Only downside is the decor hasn't been changed since the 60s and the, what looks like, asbestos ceiling. Overall, a great place to eat maybe not so great to dine.
Peter, our lovely host, went above and beyond to ensure our group was well looked after and all our needs met with a smile! Very flexible with room options. Rooms comfy and clean. Excellent food: fresh, delicious and generous servings. So happy we chose to come here!
