It is overrated with 4.6.I would say 4.0 is appropriate rate. The restaurant doesn’t have a big space but the food is delicious. I ordered lamb vindaloo with rice. Rice isn’t basmati just normal rice. I like the curry,saved my hungry tummy.I shared it with my husband,cannot eat it all by myself. They are in large amount.
The food was delicious, I had butter chicken and rice. The only thing was there was lots of sauce, a few more pieces of chicken in the container/serving would have been great - still delicious, just expected a bit more meat for the price
Wow, first time having Chinese food from mani’s and it did not disappoint! Everything was cooked fresh and tasted amazing! Great fast service as well. The $30 Chinese pack could easily feed 3-4 adults but my partner and I got it just for us and there was heaps of leftovers left! Highly recommend! Will be back for sure 👍🏻👍🏻

Came here for the first time, bought 2 small containers of butter chicken, rice, and chips tastes yumm and good value of money very filling. Will go back and try their chinese food as their price is quite reasonable compete to other chinese takeaways that i normally go to
Best place for Chinese food in kaitaia. Yum, fresh and clean. Their Indian food is on point too. Always busy... atleast half hour wait when I order BUT well worth it, Have not had a meal from here I didn't enjoy.
I've tried many Indian restaurants but Mani's is hands down the best butter chicken I've ever had. The tomato gravy is the right amount of sweetness and the rice is perfect. Not too dry like most places I've been to. Highly recommended!!

My mother in law ordered the Fried Rice & the Sweet & Sour Pork.
Butter Chicken:
Was soooo good. Creamy & not to sweet. & the rice was cooked to perfection. Light & fluffy. Was also a really good serving. Fed me, my 2yr old daughter & my 9yr old son with some left over. The garlic & cheese naan was also yummy. Right amount of cheese & garlic. Nice and crispy.
Fried Rice:
Was ok. A little bland and way to much mixed vege.
Sweet & Sour Pork:
Was really really good. One of the best ove ever had. Pork was cooked well & the batter was also very crispy. The sauce was just amazing and topped the dish off very well.
Deffs go back of we are ever in Kaitaia again. Awesome experience.
This is by far the BEST Indian AND Chinese Takeaways in Kaitaia! Definitely reccomend this place!!! My family and I have literally tried every food place here in Kaitaia and this is the only place where we eat and never get sick of! Its that good we HAVE to eat from there at least once a week lol.
Amazing value. I just picked up a lamb stuffed Nan, a vege dish, buttered chicken and rice. Tasted great AND all for $23!! Back home down south this would have been double the price and not as good. Thanks so much

Manis butter chicken is a good place to get authentic Indian food.. speciality of this shop is that you will get tasty Indian food for reasonable price. Try this shop and you will be amazed with the taste. This is a takeaway shop and has 6 seats, which allows you to have yummy hot indian food. It has public parking space available right infront of the shop as it is located in the commerce street. This shop closes around 2100, you can order your food till 2030.must appreciate the customer service too, friendly staff. Good place to have tasty Indian food.
