The food was absolutely delicious and the staff so friendly, who catered extremely well to our dietary needs. The music, the decorations and the taste and smell of the food made you feel like you were actually in a restaurant in Israel. A fabulous experience.
One of my favourite restaurants ever, period. I have never tasted better Israeli food than this place. Whether you get a pita or a salad or a small meal (comes with rice), you get amazing value for what you pay for. The service is really fast and the food comes out in about 10 minutes. The seating area is nice and relaxing. 10/10 restaurant.
Best restaurant in Kerikeri, such tasty beautiful food! Very consistent and always busy. The chocolate cake is absolutely to die for and is a must if you are dining here!
What can I say? Hands down, one of, if not the favourite for my family and I. My kids always make a point of wanting to go here and are even willing to save money themselves to ensure they can go.
The food is incredible and the service is fantastic. We almost always get the platters as it gives us some varity and no matter what is on it, you can't miss.
Also, the kids refuse to walk away without having some of their famous chocolate cake.

I went to school in Kerikeri and now live in Auckland. I went here yesterday 5/1/13 and was as good, if not better than I remember. Consistently excellent for at least the 9 years I have been going there. Excellent food at reasonable prices. Here's to the next 9 years!
Amazing food which is delicious tasting and it is very reasonably priced. I loved the sevice with a smile and nice settings in the cobblestone mall. Definitely worth a visit for some amazing middle-eastern/israeli food if you are in Kerikeri.
Never fails to provide excellent food for good value. Have dined often with out of town visitors for a casual diner and always a huge hit! Best value in town for take out or dine in - a sure winner every time!
Absolutely fantastic. Loved the food, loved the atmosphere, loved the price. We were visitors to kerikeri and highly recommend to others. Service was excellent, staff were friendly and food came quick. Good beverage selection. Am yet to try dessert but am sure it will be great.

We have dined at Cafe Jerusalem many times and have never been disappointed with the food. It is a relaxed atmosphere where you may order at the counter and talk with the very interesting owner. The food is regional to the middle east, well seasoned, not so expensive, and offers a great variety. Outdoor dining in the courtyard is pleasant. I bought their tee shirt and get a lot of puzzled looks while visiting family in Beverly Hills, California, USA Enjoy your holiday in Israel.

One of the best meals we’ve ever had! We stopped in Kerikeri for some lunch and didn’t think much of the small cafe, but man were we blown away! Everything was so flavourful and the components of the meal just went together so well - DELICIOUS! I highly recommend stopping by

The food was absolutely delicious! We had 2 veg 2 meat Mezze platter, and we all loved it. Especially I was impressed with falafels - one of the best I have ever tried. Everything was was very tasty, the portions are good sized - not too little, not too much, just perfect.
I've had shawarma previously but never knew Israeli cuisine also had them. Our very first time trying Israeli food and it was something to remember! Would definitely be back here when we visit again. The lamb shawarma meal had a good blend and the salad that came with it was fresh. The beef pita was just right and had a good kick that left me wanting more. The service was welcoming and unmatched to some of our experiences in the area. Don't sleep on this one 🙌🥲🎉
Best food I had during a week’s trip in the Bay of Islands. We had the mezze platter, 2 meat and 2 veg, which was honestly amazing! Very tasty and a great selection of dishes.. Highly recommend and would go there again! Will recommend to family and friends!

We were in Keri keri on the 30th Oct and tried their chicken rice meal, chicken salad and coffee. It was delicious. The portion sizes were good.and ambience was great.Highly recommended.
Amazing flavoursome food. Everything from the hummus, to labaneh, to meats are super tasty. We got the Mezze of 1 vegetarian (falafel) and 3 choices of meats (chicken hearts & livers, Kofta, lamb shawarma) which was a feast on its own. The beef and lamb koftas were my absolute fave! All washed down with 2 glasses of the Barkan pinot noir. Wonderful service!
Amazing, hearty, gorgeous food. Brought our parents in after a couple of nature walks. Best meal in Northland yet. Will definitely be back!
