Highly recommended and definitely a 5 star experience. The fish and chips are delicious! We have visited several times recently and each time the food and overall experience has been excellent.

Absolutely the best fish and chips I've had in a long time. Under new management and congratulations absolutely fabulous. Wonderful to have fresh crunchy batter on thick juicy Hoko (good size pieces) and great chips. Totally no grease. We'll done more visits to come. They also do meal deals $20 for 2 fish 2 crabstick plus chips and big bottle of drink. Can't wait to try the burgers.

Delicious food. I was surprised at how much I got for so little cost . Am definitely going back. Staff were friendly, and atmosphere great. All I ordered was a fish burger and $2.50 chips for lunch. Total was $11. It quite filled me up for rest of day!

I host Te Araroa trail walkers and just about every one of them want to eat fish and chips after eating trail food for days on end. Last night we purchased fish and chips and ate them on the grass near the Stone Store in Kerikeri. The food was very yummy and the portions generous. So much the seagulls had a feed too. 😊😊

Nicely redecorated recently, trendy upbeat piped background music, nice friendly young staff behind the counter and all seemed to do various roles in the shop. Very busy, nice TAWs.

After 22 years of living in Kerikeri, I have been to Calypso 5 or 6 times with previous owners. This is the first time I have had fish and chips from there and know that I will go back. Hopefully the quality stays the same and the owners stick around for a while. We had snapper and kumara chips.

Had the pleasure of dining on snapper & chips from here tonight. The fish was deliciously fresh & cooked to perfection. The chips had a light dusting of salt & were also cooked to perfection. Thank you so much to the lovely friendly staff, you do a great job👏 Happy New Year 🥳

My only request is that the fish need to be drained more, it can be a bit oily which spoils the crispiness of your wonderful batter!!!
