Love, love, LOVE this place. Hands down the best bakery in kilbirnie. They have a wide variety of cabinet food and a great selection of meals that are all wonderful. Their mochas are excellent and the prices are great also. There is plenty of seating and the dining area is fairly large although it does tend to get busy, which just goes to show the quality of the place
Great food and quantity. I think you get more than what you pay for. Gets quite busy during breakfast, lunch, and after school, so it can be difficult to get a seat.

One of the best cafe and lunch place in Wellington, selling hot cafe food, pies, sandwiches, cakes, filled rolls, croissants, all at extremely reasonable prices.
All their food is prepared fresh daily from their clean and spacious premises.

Very moist chocolate cake, however friend number 1 says the red velvet cake was not very pleasant. Friend number 2 complained about cleanliness of the glasses and the tiramisu cake needs more cream but she says she still enjoyed it. Overall a good place with good prices ππ
I had lunch at Cupcake today for the first time in months.
Their creamy chicken and mushroom pies at $5.90 were really big, hot, and nice and yummy !! π π
I love their yummy piesπ₯§ , fresh cream cakes π, pumpkin soup π, and toasted bacon chicken and eggs sandwiches π₯ͺ!!
(However the place has definitely gone down hill in recent months with very bad service, untidy restaurant, un smiling counter staff, etc.πππ
It will be best to stay away until they get the act right!! π²)

Lunchtime steak sandwich & big beef burger with chips. Reasonably busy @ 1pm, with plenty of seating area. More of a bakery, but with an array of meals available.
I am rarely in Kilbirnie at lunch time and when I am I seldom have a sit down meal, preferring to get something and eat at the water front or a park. There is a good range of hot cabinet food as well as bakery items. I chose from the meal board which has about 20 or so items from breakfast to lunch an some substantial meals. I chose mushrooms on toast which was excellent and well priced.
These guys have the best Hot Chocolate and the pie was yum too! Very nice pastry! Thank you βΊοΈ
The food was superb good size portion, great coffee, all inexpensive served with a smile and encouraging word. Nice and clean
We love going to the cupcake cafe & bakery. They always do us right. Great mocha and soy hot chocolate, with marshmallows! Today we had a chicken pie and tried a couple of their big filled donuts! Far better and bigger than Krispy Kreme. Money well spent for amazing service and great quality food!
The sandwich was reasonably priced and very pleasant to eat. The coffee was better than many I have had. All in all, I recommend it. π
Service was a little long, but to be reasonable. It was lunchtime, and they were busy. The food was good π I was dining with a colleague who also enjoyed his meal. I would recommend that you give it a try π
Prices are a little cheaper than elsewhere. Good food but can be quite busy and it's very open.
