Very quiet when we went while next door was busy at a rainy lunchtime. Tried to order pizza but was told it wasn't available until after 4pm - pity the menu doesn't mention that. No barista here, only filter coffee but that filter coffee is very good - it comes with cream. Had the salmon gravlax which was excellent, curly fries and burger also very good but fish and chips had soggy fish.

They don't do fancy coffees, just filtered coffee with either cream or milk ,, and it's bottomless cups and it's a really nice coffee especially if your not really into the fancy ones! (Lattes etc) nic outdoor area..just drive up past the Silo Motel and you will see it , try there salmon bagel omg devious ,full of salmon, my partner got pulled brisket toastie.. he really enjoyed it and it filled him up..
It's conveniently located on the way from Akaroa to Christchurch. The food is tasty and I love the smoked salmon. Great ambience and wonderful service. It's to our surprise that even some toys were provided to the kids while we were waiting for our food.
I have been twice and both times had excellent service from friendly local staff. Food was great and meal sizes were adequate.
Very good pizza. My husband said one of the best he had had. Our host was friendly and attentive. All our food arrived promptly and was pipping hot. We sat in the area at the back of the restaurant in a sheltered spot in the winter sun and it was very pleasent.
A real find. Lovely atmosphere - funky decor, clean loos.
We had the charred broccoli - perfect - the pork meatballs - delicious and generous- and a Calzone, which we took away as everything was way too big! Yum!
The one meal that I have experienced here was excellent, great service! I am looking forward to returning in the summer,lovely atmosphere..

We had a lovely meal out. Food was excellent, service was great, staff so friendly. This is a 'must do' when you are in Little River.
This place is such a gem! Fabulous food and lovely, warm hospitality. We loved sitting in the garden out the back and enjoying dinner and drinks. Staff are friendly, food options are plentiful and delicious (including gluten free) and the surrounds and environment of Little River are absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended!
