Great place in the busiest area of Lower Hutt. Staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. We ordered eggs benedict to share and they kindly split into two plates. Coffee is strong and nice. Recommended!

Beautiful atmosphere, weather was miserable but the ambiance inside Soleil made up for it. Loving the rustic benches and tables. Food was beautifully cooked, and tasted so good. Coffee was great also. Highly recommend this spot! Ample (paid) parking roadside. Excellent customer service also
Amazing Father's Day lunch at Cafe Soleil! Went with my dad and my sister, and had an extremely enjoyable experience. The Spicy Chicken BLT was AMAZING!! Great sauce, tasty caramelized onions, perfect seasoning on the chicken, it was delicious!! I've had quite a fair few number of chicken burgers in my time all over New Zealand; the Spicy Chicken BLT would probably be right up there as the best chicken burger I've ever had!! We also ordered a few desserts for our table, which were interesting, unique and very tasty! The staff were also super friendly and kind, and the service was really top-notch. This is a great cafe, and I would thoroughly recommend eating here!

Wonderful food here, I tried the Spanish Tortilla and it was tasty and delicious. My eating companion declared the croissant the best he’d ever eaten! We had the magic slice and shared it: rich and sweet and tasty. Service was unbelievably friendly and humble and refreshing xxx

Arrived for a late brunch and were not sure what to eat so ordered two spinach omelet with spring onions and fresh tomatoes. The omelets were large, spicy, very cheesy as in delightful with quality melted tasty cheese. The price at $14 each was great value for money and friendly professional service. I would definitely recommend Cafe Soleil.
This is why you always go somewhere more than once, and never judge them on their first meal. The café layout was lovely lots of wooden furniture and plenty of seating. The menu was short and unique, lots of options for eggs which I love. I had the veggie garden eggs which is spicy hollandaise with poached eggs and avocado on toast.
It was not as I expected, which is why I always recommend going somewhere more than once. We have a perception in our heads of how food is supposed to be and sometimes that’s not how it is.
I really enjoyed this meal, and love having multiple options for just simple eggs on toast.
The coffee was great and my medium size walls. In fact, quite large :-)
Will definitely go again and try different options.
In today’s post, Covid world, eating out is a luxury due to staff availability. I think we need to remember that. Things may take a little longer, but they taste just as delicious. I went at a slow time of the day, and things arrived quickly, I was lucky.
