The glorious yet understated @fellowcafe is one of our most regular lunch spots. Laurissa & her team are an absolute godsend for Lower Hutt, offering various treats so mouth-watering they're reluctant to label them 'vegan'. They're just delicious! The focaccia sammies are packed with flavour (avo & sauerkraut, or not chicken & kimchi), pies are fantastic, roast veg salad & jungle curry are fab, & the various treats & donuts change regularly. Great staff & service, plus kid & doggo friendly too.

So many great vegan options, especially in the cabinet! The ginger slice is the best and they have donuts on Fridays and they have a lot of amazing savoury options too. I have never been disappointed by the food here and I used to visit almost every day.
They value sustainability, you can use your own cup and containers, and if you do need to use their takeaway containers they’re not plastic.
Love, love, love this cafe with its vegan food and coffee, its just perfect for a little treat with the family. (and the home fries are just the best I have ever had before)
Every time I try something here is like an "out of body" experience. So flavourful, and the best is that everything is plant based. So far I've only tried the savory food and the donuts which my kids devour. And the service is excellent 🌟💪
Probably a little biased (this is my local cafe) but Fellow is one of the best cases in the hutt and easily beats everyone around for coffee quality. The food is mostly vegan (the chef is a vegan and had been sneaking stuff into the menu for a while) but they still have bacon and egg pie, eggs on toast, etc.
Its particularly nice during the summer but it really is just a lovely door with great service and a great selection.
Always great coffee! We go here most week days each morning. Delicious food, plenty of options. Great seating with a lovely view of the gardens.
Great coffee and treats. Laurissa and the team know how to make great coffee and delicious vegan food and treats. I go out of my way to get my coffee from Fellow. Warm and relaxed atmosphere.
