Wow, what a place, is our local, never disappointed, has excellent specials every week which are AMAZING! $17 for a steak and beer?? What more could you want! Such a nice place to be and the staff are more than welcoming. Oh and the ribs are the best ribs i’ve ever had ( believe me i’ve travelled NZ hunting for ribs and these beat any ribs i’ve tried ).

Ps Please put the cajun chicken with blue vein sauce on mash, with salad on your regular menu. It was to die for!!
Great friendly atmosphere
Went there as a group of 7 for my birthday this week. We had booked for 6pm but a couple of the group were late due to traffic. The staff seated us and were very helpful while we waited for our friends. We ordered a variety of different main courses which were served quickly and all were excellent. The steak and fries were on Special that night (Thursday) so some of us had that. Medium rare, medium and well done. All were cooked as they should be and were very tasty. Couldn't fault the food or the waiting staff. Would recommend and we will be going back soon.
Service good. Food average. Wait time- too long. This could have been due to a function arriving soon so were focasing more on getting those meals ready though.
I enjoyed the friendly service from the staff here and the honest food. My corn fritters were a steal at $12!! A group of us came here to watch a sports event on Friday and they were kind enough to switch the audio on to our sport. Thank you!
I came in for dinner and had the corn fritters with Haloumi Cheese. This was really yummy and so reasonable for $12!! Great for a pub feed!
Pub food as pub food should be. Were welcomed by a warm and inviting ambiance and dinner progressed at a relaxed pace, the steak was great and friends options looked so good that in its self would be reason to return. After desert and coffee felt compelled to stay and enjoy the atmosphere and entertainment. Great
Great food. Great value for money. Great happy hour. Excellent staff. What more can I say. We love this place and are there at least once a week. Late breakfast, sunday roast or a weknday dinner. We have a little flutter on the pokies to see if we can make money to pay for the food. Sometimes it works.
I give a 5 star review, everything was great ! The food is amazing, cooked to perfection, the service was even better, friendly staff makes the experience that much more enjoyable. We sat outside, you are aloud dogs in the outdoors bit, beautiful views on a beautiful sunny day. Highly recommend, the food prices were in the 20s for a steak and garlic butter etc everything was so worth it and cheap! I highly recommend the crumbed camembert cheese and crackers was perfect entrè.

Every time we come here, with family or friends, the quality of service from the ladies behind the bar, are so amazing! They are always ready to help and assist, always super warm and friendly and they are just good at what they do! This is why I will always come to Sandbar because the quality of service is by far the best! Sandbar and their staff are awesome!
Great food, with great prices! Better than your average pub food - that’s for sure! Don’t let the “pub” vibe put you off, there’s tables at the back, which are slightly separate. ;)

Had lunch with my better-half after an appointment nearby, we had the marinated beef sirloin and steamed salmon.
The beef was well-seasoned and I liked the grilled cauli flower.
The sauce that topped the salmon was a tad sweet but it does blend well with the capsicum and onions that came with the salmon.
The place's ambience is pleasant and peaceful. Almost beachfront bar-like feel. Definitely a good place to stop by.

I am bit hesitant with sports bar/pub meals because it’s usually quite standard and overpriced, and I usually am not a fan of Italian based food (I prefer Authentic Asian) BUT I was blown away by the standard of the food here. Everything tasted so good!

Might look like your average little local, but the staff are awesome, really friendly, and remember your usual drink. A nice place to get to know some of the other regulars/locals. Highly recommend for a quiet drink.
