Review Kreem Cafe. Manukau - Manukau

Samoan Kiwi
We finally went here today to try out their breakfast and coffee. This place is awesome. Chill atmosphere. Friendly staff with great service. Nice seating arrangement. Even as the place got busier it never felt like you were cramped in. We tried the big breakfast and omelette. Large portions and cooked so well. Their coffee was perfect. We loved it here. I highly recommend this place

Kreem is very popular as it was packed when we got there. I liked the ordering method by scanning the QR code which saved us from lining up. Despite being so busy the food came relatively quickly. Our meal was decent, nothing too special but I appreciated the generous portions. The creamy mushrooms were a highlight for me, as well as the matcha latte. I wanted to order one blueberry cheesecake but somehow the system made it into two. Not a big deal but the ordering system may need to be fixed to change that. Overall an enjoyable experience.

ORDERED: 1x Bacon Eggs Benedict Tasted really good. Atmosphere was great. Service was a little different. They brought food to one end of table and seemed like it was our job to then moved the food around the table of 16. But the food was good.

Everything was awesome! I ordered a 3 egg omelette on brioche with crumbled feta, mushroom, herbed potato, and really delicious. And the asian girl who gets my order remembered I asked for cinnamon instead of chocolate sprinkles for my cappuchinođŸ«¶đŸ» I've visited here twice, and she's always smiling and willing to help! Of course, the coffee tastes great!! Highly recommend this place!!

Been here a few times, always on top. Very busy but got though the line quick. Well done staff

Really love the food and service here. We ordered egg benedict, brownie, banoffee pie and coffee. All taste very well. More, the Taiwanese staff do offer great help to us, recommending the best choice of dessert and coffee to us. Feel so warm with her hospitality when traveling in Auckland.

Really enjoyed the Big Breakfast, especially the creamy mushrooms. Ordering online at the table was handy as there was a long line at the counter. They also have a highchair available.đŸ‘¶ Bare in mind, it's quite a busy Cafe so if you're wanting a quieter spot, there are seatings outside also :)

Foods are delicious here and there is a Taiwanese waitress who has a very good serving attitude and very helpful. She is enthusiastic at her work and we really like her service !

Kreem Cafe is about as safer bet as you’ll find. I don’t think there’s anywhere else out there that competes with their cabinet options, not to mention the menu options which are also delicious. They have a great team in place and the service is always faultless. It’s a resounding 5 stars from me! Hamish Dorrington Kakapo Business Sales

Big Breakfast | good portion for the price! Good selection of cabinet food! Food came out fast!

Great food and good service but really busy and so you wait

First time at Kreem Cafe in Manukau today and both Mum and I were not disappointed at all. I had the Brioche french toast and it was delicious and filling. Everything from the toasted coconut shavings, dried strawberries, grilled banana to the perfectly cooked strips of bacon and the brioche french toast itself was soft and moist. All in all both the service and the food was great. Will definitely return again. Took these photos of what I had 😍🙌

Wish I had walked in a few years earlier! Wow, this cafe is amazing! The scrumptious food is incredibly fresh, the kitchen is continuously bringing new supplies. The extensive selection of both ‘the standard’ and the ‘new’ is beautifully presented. I love colours and have to say that the counter is as much a feast for the eye as the content is for the palate. The selection contains both what can be found anywhere else, but then lifted up a notch or 2, and the more unusual, yet not too unusual. There is a menu as well, but I’m still working on what’s available from the counter. Price is comparable to ‘regular’ cafes, and the staff is friendly. Accessible toilets were clean at my last visit, less so this time, but obviously well maintained. (Just a messy visitor before me, I suspect) The vibe is great. It’s clearly popular, and for very good reason. I will be back as often as I can and will pass on the message.

Love the food here, always well presented. Service is good too. I guess the only thing that needs improvement is the atmosphere, the area does tend to be a bit loud when it's packed mostly because it lacks acoustics. Maybe sound dampening materials and it should be alright. Besides that minor thing, I totally love this place 👍

Worst eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. Absolutely disgusting. The whole dish spelt like fish and tasted like it was cooked unhygienically. Don’t know what they cooked it in or even if they washed the vegetables but definitely a no from me and I won’t be looking back at this cafe again. Unseasoned dish as well. But it had me put off by the smell from the get go. Sorry but disappointed.

I've previously been here many times and stopped by yesterday morning before I went to work just to get a scone, the service up to this point has been superb. The young lady that served me clearly doesn't like her job and I won't be rushing back anytime soon. The fact that I had to ask for butter and a knife with my scone and when she handed me my changed she literally just chucked it on the counter, whether I'm spending $5 or $50 I expect to receive better service than what I got.

Always busy but there’s plenty of room. The staff are friendly and efficient. Amazing choices of salads, menu items, sweet and savoury baking. This cafe is a must visit in Manukau

Brekkie was amazing. Great selection on the menu. Friendly staff and yummy coffee!! We loved the oreo cupcake although it wasn't as fresh as I thought it would be. Defs coming back!!

I give this cafĂ© four out of five stars for the food which is great. Coffee average. But the service this morning completely let the place down. The young woman serving behind the counter was so incredibly rude. There was a small queue and she was rude. Officious and felt she needed to correct me when I asked for the bacon and egg breakfast bap. It’s not a bap, it’s a breakfast roll. Yeah ok bap roll, whatever. She was rude to every single customer before me and behind me. She could not even smile. Then she brought the food to the table which we had asked to take away and threw a huff that she didn’t know even though we had told her and stormed off to put in a bag to takeaway. She was even being rude to the girls making coffee behind the coffee machine. What a let down. Don’t have somebody greeting customers and serving them when they are rude and obnoxious. I won’t be back again

Ordered an eggs Benedict and it was probably the worst one I’ve had. Eggs weren’t even poached properly and the bacon was burnt. Fries were cold and the waitress was holding our utensils where you put your mouth. Wouldn’t go back there again

great café in the heart of Manukau. Board menu is the same at every Kreem, but the cabinet food here is excellent. It is always busy, but the staff are polite and the food doesn't take long. Highly recommend
Suprizzle Fo Shizzle
Two breakfast platters and another made up of sides. Delicious and great service! Only criticism was that pickles tasted like water which was very odd... everything else was perfect.
Taleah Halligan
By far my favourite cafe. Coffee, food and service never seem to disappoint. I love the new dessert cabinet. And a great range of cabinet food
Gary Montrose
Certainly a busy location and you can see why when you get your food. I had the eggs benidict and was suitably impressed. The portion size was very good. The service was good. I am planning on returning soon.

We wanted to try a local cafe and this place had good reviews, so we popped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning. It was quite busy even though it was early in the morning, but the staff were friendly and efficient. We ordered an Oreo cupcake, an Eggs Benedict - Salmon and Bacon and a savoury scone. To drink, we ordered a cappuccino and a mocachino. It was all really good as cafe food go, but I would definitely recommend their scones because the savoury one we ordered was delicious! We will go again just for the scones and we’ll definitely try the sandwiches or salads next time.

Went here for lunch with a group of 12, ordered mine & 1 others meal, was given an order number. Meals came out but my dish was wrong so they took it back to kitchen. Turned out my order had been mixed with another tables order. No apology received but waitress said she'd be back with my meal. After 10mins I asked another waitress how long it takes to heat up a meal that literally just sits in the chilled glass display becos if it's going to take any longer, I would rather have my money back...to which she replied "I'll find out for you". Still no apology. 10mins later, still waiting. Rest of table have finished their meals. Both waitresses I spoke with are walking around making eye contact only to quickly look away as if they were purposely avoiding me so I approach the counter & request a refund. Girl at cashier points me to another waitress (who I could only assume was the duty manager). Asked what the point of the order numbers were if they were only gonna stuff up my order. She replies with there being a mix-up in the kitchen end, hands me my refund......STILL no apology. Understandable if they were busy but other than my group of 12, there were approx 6 others in the cafe. Shit explanation! Shit service! Only wish I could get my time back.

Disappointed as the meals here are good. It's the crappy service that has left a bad taste in my mouth.....and sadly that has overshadowed all previous experience I have had with Kreem.

Manukau branch, you lack training in the customer service department, keep this up if you'd like to continue losing more customers.

Went here for lunch for the first time for brunch with someone. had ordered a chicken burger and a chicken brioche. Asked to receive both meals together. Burger came out, waited 10 minutes for the chicken brioche still hadn't arrived. Told a waiter, she came back 5 minutes later to tell us it was being heated. Another 10 minutes later and no chicken brioche. So I went up to the girl at the counter she got it sorted and it was out in a couple of minutes. She seemed apologetic, it was a little busy but the docket had been sitting there for so long. Besides the mix up of order, their chicken brioche was absolutely amazing. Chicken burger was a little bland but was decent. Also had an oaty caramel slice that was amazing.

Quite a busy joint for breakfast. Decided to check this place out with a work colleague while we were in the area. My first time being at a Kreem cafe. The decor was pretty cool and layout of the area quite spacious. The staff aprons I found cool also with the denim dungaree look. It took around 15mins to get our meal served. I ordered a grilled mushroom omelette. It came with some toasted bread and a hummus like tomato paste. I didnt feel it went well with the omelette personally & that it could have been left off the plate all together or replaced with some avocado mash which would've been better. The omelette overall was also quite a let down. Would recommend the dish choice but would consider returning to try something else off the menu.

Went to Kreme today and I got the carrot cake and an iced coffee. First the carrot cake was so dense, not light and fluffy at all - making it quite dry and flavourless unless you had the sparse amount of icing with it. The iced coffee was great though. The staff are a bit nonchalant but they are so busy every day I can understand
Sam
Nice selection in the cabinet. Plenty of meals to choose from as well. It was quite busy but it was a very nice set up inside the cafe and good service. My wife chose the chicken Caesar salad to take away and they gave us a very generous serving and I chose the Tandoori chicken wrap. Both delicious. I’d definitely go back for a proper sit down meal next time.

It is always nice coming to Kreem Cafe, cabinet food is good and you can eat in take it away. I can sometimes get a little crazy cause the food on display is pretty good.

Breakfast platter was excellent, definitely worth the money you spend on it

Coffee here is good, when I order a vanilla latte that’s exactly what I get, I tend to find I can’t taste the vanilla or the coffee is burnt at other places I havent had an issues here

Only thing that made this a 4 instead of a 5 was the rice and chicken meal I got, rice wasn’t cooked a little crunchy. Other than that I’m sure it’ll be upgraded to a 5 soon
Susan Williams
Food is amazing and the service is always friendly. The food display as you enter is very appetizing, however, waiting a little extra for the kitchen to whip you up an order is worth the wait. Also, a great place for a breakfast/lunch date with friends and family. . . Child friendly and they make a goooood coffee.
Kathy Teo
Have been to Kreme twice now, first time for breakfast and second time for lunch. Great food I had French toast which was delicious, I prefer the hazelnut option over the bacon one, it wasn’t as great. The soy chicken on rice was really yum! The rice alone was really good, but a bit salty for my taste, I didn’t mind I still ate it all! Good food!
Carl Horrocks
Scrambled eggs were watery not really great cafe food, maybe eating from the cabinet would have been the better choice . Quite noisy environment
Grace Elizabeth
Best ice coffees, salads and eggs bene’s I’ve had. Lovely staff, great for catering, what more could you want?

Can also highly recommend the breakfast sandwiches.

Does get busy close to lunch time, but is fast moving and worth the wait for a table.
Kerryj
My first visit to this Kreem, I usually go to the one in East Tamaki. This one is has lots of space and good parking. Our coffees were rather bland and the twisted donut was dry.

This is my favourite place for lunch or breakfast whenever I feel like going out but can't decide where to go to. Hands down they have the best Eggs Benedict I have had in Auckland. The salmon tastes fresh and the eggs are poached perfectly always! Coffee isn't bad either. The chicken from the deli is the only thing halal. The fianz certificate is fixed on the wall. Overall the atmosphere is good with friendly staff. It does get busy often so it pays to book in a table before hand. Farha Deen

By far the worse eggs benny I've ever had. The hollandaise tasted like it was from a packet or made with spread and not butter. The bacon was either over cooked and stringy or undercooked and soggy. The only saving grace were the well poached eggs. Unfortunately, a massive waste of $16. Go to Melba or the artisan which are both in the manukau area with much better quality food.

Came here for lunch today. It's a very busy cafe, nonetheless staff are excellent at serving everyone in a timely manner. I ordered an omelette and a hot chocolate and my partner ordered a toasted chicken & avocado foldover and a brownie. The food came within 10 minutes of us sitting down which was great. I enjoyed my food, however my partner found his sandwich hard, the chicken chewy and difficult to eat. The brownie was also a bit hard but tasty. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and the atmosphere and would come again :)

THINK I HAVE FOUND MY FAV PLACE FOR MY FAV BREAKFAST MEAL (EGGS BENNY) :):)

A local cafe with exceptional food, friendly staff and nice setting. Plenty of seats around without feeling to squished if was to be busy with hungry people.

Loved loved their Eggs benny. Perfect amount of creamy hollandaise and crispy bacon đŸ„“ having a side of grilled was a def a bonus as most other cafes do not serve it :)

Perfect location with plenty of parking spaces. Been to their other chain out in Henderson. Although the Henderson had a greater selection of cabinet food, their eggs benny wasnt as good as the Manukau Cafe!

DREAMING OF MY NEXT VISIT!

Love dropping in here. Great food selection and staff are super quick and friendly. Wish it stayed open little later. Highly recommend to all

Decided to try Kreem for the first time yesterday morning. Got x2 Big breakfast with sides of Salmon, Iced choc , Mocha, Italian Donut.
Should've asked how ice choc was made - Cos obviously it was a Thick shake ! Mocha was average - Breakfast however i felt was abit under average. Bread wasn't toasted .. I don't know if it was supposed to be ??? - Butter wasn't soft enough to the point where it was ripping bread apart - Poached eggs were perfect tho.
Very Busy Café tho - Was told about waiting time on order which was fine - Love knowing that stuff !
Customer service good - Highchair for my daughter wasn't clean. Heaps of carpark which is always Bonus !

Becoming our Sunday brunch spot. Good music, great customer service, great food. A little on the expensive side for me but very worthwhile. Recommended +++

Had a lovely late lunch today. The food was brilliant, the staff attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this cafe!
My husband agreed it was one of the nicest meals he's had for awhile. The roast vegetable quiche was perfect (yes real men do eat quiche!). They had a lovely selection of salads too, a little different from the norm.
LoveFoodWithApassionđŸ„—đŸž (Ngata)
This place is always my favourite lunch stop. They make this beef lasagna that just melts in your mouth, always a must pick up for me. This place is always busy at lunch time but the services seems to be pretty quick and always apologize for the wait, which is nice.
Lizzie Blackburn
Coffee is great and the atmosphere and deco is great. But I don't recommend the food on display, best to maybe order from the breakfast menu. I had a really odd tasting sausage roll, tasted like alcohol, it was weird. Friend had the Mac n cheese and tasted like no cheese in it. I will be back here tho I want to try the bekkie!
Lisa O Connell
Stop here for a coffee,so i ordered are mocha trim extra hot!!! In a go cup coffee was very nice and hot but the staff take forever to make my coffee and i can clearly see is only my coffee on that time.please not everyone like to wait.but i give 5...coffee was very nice.

Came here for breakfast this morning with my husband and our friends. Fantastic service, Excellent food and Awesome friendly staff. Been here few times now on and off and always a gr8 experience. Can highly recommend and there is no way you cant find anything not to eat, choices galore.
Fussycoffee
Good food but average service . Won't go back agian there . Nice sausage till but not good service at all. Just throw your food there and don't even say enjoy. Poor
AJ
Selection of food is pretty good. Always come here knowing there will be a salad in the cabinet I'll like. Caramel oaty slice is a winner-get it every time. Staff are friendly and the place is always packed out which can mean it can be hard to find a table but good for the cafe
Judy Chhy
Came here today for lunch, it was pretty packed but still received good service. I ordered the hash cakes and it was really good! It's something different to the menu, my friend got the pasta from that cabinet I had a little try of it and it was really good too. Affordable food done well.
Ashlee
I normally grab coffee from Kreem on my way to work some mornings. I haven't had a chance to try their kitchen menu but seeing as today was a public holiday, I decided to try my luck. We ordered a salmon eggs bene, the hash cakes and a mocha. All came within 10mins of ordering and were delicious! There was ample seating and the staff were pleasant and helpful. If you're looking for somewhere to eat which isn't too pricey but doesn't compromise the quality, you definitely need to try Kreem. The portion sizes are decent and we were stuffed to the brim!
Joshua Lin
Kreem. Man oh man Kreem. This place is amazing. My family tends to go here a lot and I normally get beef pasta. Food is stellar. I love this place. Its so good. Service is super helpful and sugar donuts are bĂŠ af.
Jessica Callistus
I love this place! Came here with my family for a quick feed before we headed out of Auckland for the weekend and we all had such a yummy meal that really filled us up up for the day!

My chorizo and omelette combo was so good and have no regrets adding the extra hollandaise. Everything tasted really fresh and well made everything tasted the way it was suppose to.

The coffee was also beautiful. Really nice and strong and perfectly made! Cabinet also looked beautiful and the food was bright and fresh.

I will for sure come here again in the future!
Barb&Ted
Had breakfast for the first time today. Very spacious cafe and lovely atmosphere . Cabinet food is some of the best I've seen although a little pricey. My partner had the big grill with poached eggs and enjoyed. Good quality ingredients and well presented .The poached eggs leaning towards well done though and the toast should be toasted and crispy. Felt a little let down by that. I enjoyed my hash grill though but again the poached eggs looked great but a little overdone. Homemade Hash balls were great though. He had a Latte and I had a Flat white- good coffee and quickly served! Quick and friendly service even though the cafe was quite busy. Both agree that we would be back again for sure but I would probably try the cabinet food😋
Stephy_NakiGirl
Kreem is a busy cafe in Manukau & they also have other locations across the city.
They really specialise in a cabinet full of salads, pastas & bakes - great for eat in or takeaway & really reasonably priced. Well worth stopping off for one of these if you are in a rush. They also have a good range of baked goods.
Service is okay - they tend to be so busy during lunchtimes that things such as clearing tables takes a while & when dishes are delivered to you it is like they are distracted as they are running back to deliver the next order. At the counter they are very helpful though.
Drinks wise they have a good range of options. I had a latte which was nicely made.
Today we decided to order from the menu - they have a range of brunch & lunch options, again fairly reasonably priced.
My friend chose the bacon & eggs which was nicely cooked. I had the sesame coated chicken. The chicken was nicely cooked, not dry, but surprisingly lacked any real flavour which was such a shame. It needed a squeeze of lemon, or some other kind of citrus marinade to add some tang alongside the coating. Luckily the small amount of dressing on the side helped, but it would have been good if there was more.
A good visit but will try other options next time.
Netty
Came in as mine and hubbies usual place was closed. Had eggs benedict. Dry bagel. Bacon was rubbery & eggs were overcooked. Roasted cherry tomatoes were nice. Quick service which was good but would not have this meal again at this place
Sarah Mellor
Always wanted to try this place but they arent open on sundays so having a random day off hubby n i decided to try it out and definitely dont regret it!! Food is amazing!! Even the food in the cabinets looked tasty. I had my eggs bene on the hash cakes instead of bread and these were so good not your ordinary hash brown.
Ruth Ireland
Went here for my birthday last week and had a delicious brunch! Coffee was great too had they had a huge selection of baked treats. Highly recommended!
Laynah K
My go to place when I'm wanting breakfast as it is close by. Such a variety of Deli and sweets. Only let down is a warm coffee, but can be fixed if you ask for it to be hot. Great customer service.

Kreem Cafe is always busy and full to the brim whenever I drive past it, so I was curious enough to check it out. Upon entering, the space is really modern-rustic and cute with plenty of tables and magazines/ newspapers to browse through during your morning cuppa. There's a huge range of cabinet salad options which are so much better than your usual boring options, but their cafe food menu is rather basic/ standard. There's a reason this place is rather devoid of the younger crowd who are much too used to the modern brunch eateries in the CBD area. One could see it as boring/ unexciting, but another could see it as simple and unpretentious.

I chose the creamy mushrooms (who am I to say no to shrooms?) and was sadly very disappointed in them. When paying $16 ish, I kind of expect more than a pile of button mushrooms in a cream sauce in a bowl that anyone can whip up in 5 minutes. Being too used to being served mushroom varieties like portobello, I should have asked first. My partner's eggs benny was quite nice- always a fail-safe option. Food was presented really well, and the customer service was lovely so I'd be willing to return and hopefully have better luck with a different menu item.
Monique Porteous
I always end up going back to this place if I am in the manukau area, it's a total delight. The set up is great and the restaurant area has plenty of seating, although it does get very full on a Saturday brunch time! The tables are very modern with wooden and steel detailing. This place is allllll about the cabinet food, with good reason. If you are vegan, gluten free, paleo or just plain love food, this is the place! I will say this cafe is the only place I have been to so far in Auckland which caters to a very wide range of dietary requirements. The food is a little pricey but the ingredients are of a high standard which you can taste in every bite. The drinks are ok, but the coffee is nothing to rave about. I would recommend the orzo salad, the ceaser salad and the passion fruit yoghurt cupcake 😍
Maria Foy
What a fantastic experience I just have. In my never ending quest to find yummy gluten free foods, I went to my local Kreem and was not disappointed. There were muffins, energy balls, friands, salads and more that were gluten free. And they were delicious. Also massive shoutout to the super friendly staff - it was busy but she still took the time to explain what was gluten free and smiled the whole time. Thanks guys!
Anna Hinehou
I have to admit on my first visit to Kreem I was expecting bland, stock standard franchise cafe fare, however I was pleasantly surprised. My pear, coconut and blackberry muffin was delicious and anything but stock standard, hot chocolate was nice and delivered in good time. Would definitely be keen to try the menu next time.

One of the best cafés in south auckland!

I had ordered beer battered fish and chips and it was delicious so far the best I've ever had!!

They have a wide selection of food, can't wait to try it on myself next visit.

Very friendly and helpful staff, with great customer service and recieved the food promptly.

Zane
Very average breakfast this morning, the bacon had obviously been reheated from earlier in the morning as it was dry and luke warm.
Hash cake was dry and lukewarm, my girlfriend's eggs bene, except for the eggs was lukewarm and the hollendaise was from a carton. For $18 I expect better quality really.
Melissa Oudshoorn
Great cafe, highly recommended! I visit regularly and a have sampled goodies from the cabinet and the menu. All has been delicious, especially the calamari. If you are in Manukau I would definitely suggest popping in.

Its only real downfall is the noise, it gets super loud in there.
Renee Vano
One of the best new places in Manukau.. Try getting a table in the place it's always packed. After seeing this pop up in area was very excited and not disappointed. I have been to the one in New Lynn and loved it. To this date have only been there for coffee and food from the case. Coffee is excellent and food matches. Would love to come here for breakfast but for some odd reason this place doesn't open on the weekends?? You would think that this would be one of their busiest times?? Would love to see this place open on the weekends as think it would be real hit:)
David Parussini
Another very good Kreem cafe, I have visited here on a number of occasions individually and with a friend and have always been impressed with the coffee and extensive food selection and taste/presentation - great, attentive, friendly staff - currently my number 1 choice in Manukau, keep up the great work guys.
Tony E
As a retired Howick businessman I was interested to see whether Manukau had a cafe that catered for my fastidious needs, top brand coffee, extensive range of food to accompany the coffee or a menu to cater for my breakfast or lunch appetite plus ease of access and parking. I surveyed most cafes in Manukau to assess their potential and could only find one, Kreem Cafe on Cavendish. Why, Award winning barista, enthusiastic staff led by the 2 spontaneous owners, all food made on the premises all at a competitive price. What more could you ask for!!
My wife loves the location as it is next door to Spotlight. A double whammy for me!!
Jane
Fantastic selection of food. However cafe is very noisy- probably due to poor acoustics, please consider some sound softening options.
Also please consider suppling free wifi connection for guests.
Sabine Bell
This is my second visit to Kreem Cafe in Manukau. On my first visit last month I selected something for breakfast from their cabinet, which wasn't easy, as there was a lot of tempting choices. I sat down with a lovely hot long black coffee and saw a waitress deliver a plate of Eggs Benedict to a nearby table. I didn't realise they also had a menu. So this morning I had Eggs Benedict with Bacon. They were great, the eggs were so fresh, and poached exactly as they should be, and the Hollandaise was delicious. Friendly staff, great food, I will definitely be visiting there again soon.
Dale
Popped in for a light lunch with the wife and little one. Nice and clean environment which was great to see in the middle of their lunch rush. The service we found was fantastic. No ones really that happy to work on the weekends, but it looked like they were sweet with it. Pretty good cafe and cabinet selection, nothing that would change my life but all in all a nice cafe and would return happily .
Ryan Nazareth
Place has issues firstly the music is so loud the staff can't even take your order properly. Cannot make a ice chocolate which is a bit of a shocker for a cafe. Food selection is good but the environment is a real put off as you can't hear yourself think let alone listen to your partner speak.
Ricky
We have been looking for a good café in Manukau and found one. Coffee was hot and just right. Service very friendly and helpful, food promptly received and enjoyed what we received. Especially like the homemade cakes and pastries. We all grabbed some sweets to take home. Definitely will be our new café to come too next time we are in Manukau.
Brenda Scott
Friend and I were shopping in Manukau City today, spotted Kreem Cafe next to Spotlight. had a lovely coffee there, very impressed with the amaseing choice of food, and decided to come back for lunch. great friendly service. luchtime was busy and vibrant, a happy warm place to be. will tell all my friends about Kreem, I will certainly be back soon.
Marilyn Burton
Very new and maybe with teething problems
Suggestions:
Install some acoustic softening items - so noisy we could not hear each other as it seemed most people were having to raise their voices - worse when the coffee grinder was in action. Even with young ears the staff member was having difficulty hearing our order and told us they had turned the music down to assist.
Noise level would most likely be harmful to the staff.
If possible, create a nicer outdoor area - we chose to sit outside in the chill air so that we could communicate, it has no appeal at all, exposed and barren looking.
The muffin was dry and I did not find the white chocolate that was supposed to be with the berries
3 weeks in there was no Chai Syrup, requested Hot Chocolate as an option - it was lukewarm.
I would not go there again for a catch up with friends until the acoustics have been improved.
