The food was amaaaazing!! The entrees were main meals in itself, the portion for your money is well worth it and delicious. It was my first time there, I travelled from West Auckland to celebrate 2 birthdays here that day and I would go back to try more of their menu and maybe some drinks. Atmosphere, could do with some nice music, had a bit of a hiccup with other customers in a leg brace trying to squeeze past us but overall the experience in dining in was nice and the service was good. Fast and hot food.

The meal and service were superb, we dined with a large group (13 people), yet the meals all arrived swiftly, cooked well, and were correct as ordered. The only down side was being seated close to the front door (older member of our party suffered the cool air every time someone came through the door), it is also a very noisy and busy location that made conversation very difficult.

We went on Thursday 17th for our Anniversary. Ooh my gosh went years ago n said wouldn't go back. But honestly could not fault anything. Was so yummy n value for money we got more meals than we should have and personally recommend this place. From the atmosphere to the food n the hospitality. You are up their to our other favorite restaurants The RIB House . Thankyou will be back again.A+

My wife finally found a place where she can get her all time favorite drink make from scratch. Lemon Lime Bitter. The foods are sinfully delicious, my daughter enjoyed every bit of her drink pink panther. The soup,wow..first time tried it and it was a gold strike...we enjoyed our diner especially my mother who is a food picker, she just loved her bacon tomato soup. Top it up with the amazing service, it's a 5 Star for me. So blessed we got served by a very friendly lady named Ruth..keep up the awesome job A must visit place and we'll definitely come again. Amazing service for a birthday celebration. Top tier! Our server was quick, got every order correct and wore the biggest smile which made us feel so comfortable. You know how they say, "Everything's bigger in Texas"? We'll apparently, everything's bigger in Bronco's too. When ordering our starters for my colleague (pictured) and I, which consisted of two tasting platters and a bread pallette; what we weren't expecting were portions that can feed a small army. We then ordered steak as our main dish and guess what? Small army portion as well. If invading some far off nation, you can economically feed your army with Bronco's and your nation won't go into debt keeping up with the logistics of it. Dessert? Your small army will thank you. Could barely finish mine. Try their Banana split, caramel flavor. Big portions, big flavor, and big satisfaction. 10/10

Worse pork belly I’ve ever tasted, sauce had no taste to it and it was so dry. Probably best thing on the plate was the plain salad 🤦🏽‍♂️ crackling was dryer then my knees lol.... At least customer service was a bit decent.

Came here couple of weeks ago for birthday dinner for the fams.. 2 of the steak meals were undercooked asked for medium rare and they were still raw in the middle.. same with salmon was raw only cooked on the outside.. not good.. however the vegetables were cooked perfectly and the dessert was on point 👌 along with the service the waitress we had she was awesome..

This was 29/02 evening, food was very late. Asked for steak to be well done, received it medium cooked. One of the servers treated us with an unsmiling face. Was going to order dessert but because of the service we did not. We received $15 discount for the late food. Definitely will not go there again.

Wow the food was delicious and the portions were well worth the money, the desserts were yummy, these are only a few pics of our food from my birthday dinner. The staff were lovely and welcoming 😊 It’s cool for the kids to get a free dessert with their meal 👌 and the bronco burger was indeed HUGE 😍😍 I would have given 5 stars but my dad wasn’t happy with his sausages n mash potatoes, he said the sausages weren’t what was said on the menu 😅 but other than that; bloody beautiful and filling oh and the cocktails 🍹🍸 👌

Not accommodating to dietary requirements. I called prior to a booking requesting to bring my own meal in due to allergies/dietary requirements and was told “that’s why we have a menu” I informed them that I had looked at this and I’m not able to eat anything from the menu however I was wanting to spend time with my family who were dining - a big table I might add. I was told I would need to pay a surcharge fee of $10 to eat my own meal!!! Now this is ridiculous! I had to eat my meal PRIOR to coming because of this. But honestly, what difference does it make to the business me eating it there vs me sitting there eating nothing??? You can buy cakes and eat those there? 🤷🏽‍♀️ What’s the difference?? Really disappointed in how insensitive this restaurant was. Haven’t had this problem at any other restaurant before. Won’t be going back there.

I give this palce a 3 star but this is mostly credited to the service and how relaxed the waitress made my partner and I fell when we got seated. Dont get me wrong the food is not terribleand the portions definately make up for the cost. Its just missing a certain "umphff" to make it better than what it was. So if you are looking for something along the lines of quantity rather than quality then this place is perfect for a good date night. The bar is great as well they make great cocktails.

I went to Bronocos with a friend for dinner. Atmosphere: 4/4 You can park on site. The restaurant atmosphere is casual; can cater small and big groups, and nice and warm. Food: 4/4 The steak was cooked really well. The bronco sauce was nice with the steak. The food portion size is very generous. Service: 4/4 All the staff members were friendly. Cost: Spent ~$30 per steak meal. Recommend: Highly highly recommend the place for steak!

Definitely didnt expect such yummy food as the reviews were so so. Their portions are HUGE though, so I'd say well worth the price. I ordered the fettuccine bolognese (I think that's what it was). Anyway it was so yummy but also it was a huge portion so didnt actually finish it. The staff are lovely and keep checking up on you (maybe a bit too often lol). Water + extra sauce were all provided and refilled as needed. I'd definitely be back and bring my family. (The picture I took isnt very good here but the food was amazing!)

Bronco's is a must visit in Manukau if you are craving for steak. Ambience is a bit outdated and carpark can be hard to find when it's full house in the weekend. Always book in advance if you want guaranteed seat! Portion is generous for around $35 which is standard for steak these days, it comes with vege and chips. They also do their own homemade tartare, thousand island and vinegratte - you can help yourself as much as you want while dining. You can also opt to buy and take home for about $6 per glass bottle.

I've lived in Auckland for 20 years and I have never dined here before. I decided to catch up with a good friend of mine here mainly because she suggested it lol however I have no regrets. The side dishes/entrees looked beautiful, we ordered the Calamari, Oysters, Prawn cutlets and bread to nibble on while we had a few drinks of rum. The Calamari was fried, was a tad disappointed due to it being fried but the taste was somewhat delicious. Spices in the dough gave it a bit of flavoring which surprised me. The bread and garlic butter was fulfilling. The prawn cutlets weren't deep fried enough, slightly soggy but it's okay once dipped in their special sauce which really made my experience here even more enjoyable. Their home made Vinaigrette dressing was Devine! I used it as a dip! Lol oysters were not fresh, tasted like they were just getting thawed out but luckily the lemon juice took that texture away. Salads for all entrees were fresh and lovely. Service was amazing. Very thoughtful and attentive. Food: 3.5/5 Service: 5/5

What a relaxing, family atmosphere at Broncos. Walked in, was greeted enthusiastically by the young lady at the entrance, seated and given my drink no more than 5 minutes later. I know that when someone smiles, it naturally makes you smile back, excellent service and this all happened before i even got to eat. Got the Coyote special, steak was medium rare as requested. Particularly enjoyed the corn on the cob which tasted great. Serving of side veggies and fries was perfect tasting, right crunch in the chips (not burnt or cooked in old oil). Not sure why the choice of a salad with fries is not an option, as i figure that more people would get this if it was offered particularly during the sum mer period when its hot and salad and fries are a great combo with a new zealand steak. That would be the only reason i have rated Bronco a 4.5. Impeccable service from the young ladies there which made all the difference. Side note, music in the restaurant is old school and refreshing and perhaps subliminally it also contributed to the wonderful experience that was eating a meal, enjoying the sun and the atmosphere.

First time trying out broncos steak house, not as bad as I thought ( after people recommending me not to go). The fettuccine bolognese was yum! Except the huge portion of unseasoned and undressed salad which was a waste, it was way too much and it felt like it was put on the plate to make it look more fuller than enjoyable. The steak however was alright, not the best. We asked for medium rare but we got both steaks (scotch and sirloin) at medium well done. Overall the food experience was average but the staff were lovely!

Really didn’t expect a steakhouse to be this good! Went for a family birthday celebration, great service. Cocktails were nice, all of our mains were really goood! Lamb shank, farmhouse chicken, sweet chicken curry and chicken fettuccini was really good. Big meals however. Great service, great vibe. Nice steakhouse for sure !

I am absolutely SHOCKED! This place has gone to complete trash. I have been coming here for years and easily spent a few thousand on drinks & food. This time is the last time I coming here ever. Well let me tell you, for $20 there are by far tastier and bigger portioned sized meals. My sons meal for just $10.5 was by far better than our adult meals and even bigger. Very sad to see the place has gone to such trash

Majority of the rating is for the customer service sorry didn't get names but little white girl her customer service was awesome i give her a 5 star rating she stayed calm and didn't show signs of frustration even though she was running all over the place, i ordered the surf and turf steak which was ok the shrimps were shrivelled up and overcooked but the steak was nicely cooked their loaf entree was nice, my partner got the fettuccine which was rubbish. Not much room inside tables were quite cramped together and you were basically hitting chairs against the table next to you so yeah if you've got quite a big party then wouldn't recommend this place

Not worth my money at all! The food was horrible, I had the fish & chips, that included a ‘salad’. The tomato quarters were soggy and the lettuce was the ice berg cut aggressively and just planted into the plate. I think it was approx $20, for less than that I can get grilled fish, calamari, beautiful salad and rice/chips at LGs for $17. So this was extremely bad. The decor was terrible and they wanted to place me on a material covered chair which looked like it had been outside for years. The chocolate they offer you at the tills was old. No thanks, never again!

I ordered pumpkin soup. It was delicious. Then I ordered surf and turf steak. Well, it was horrible. Over cooked and dry. And no sauce. What steakhouse does not have a sauce with their steaks. It tasted like the cheapest steak on the market. Chips was horrible. Very disappointing!! Would never go back here.

What a beautiful atmosphere , large plates of food , and friendly helpful staff . I was so impressed . The music wasn't too loud and had some BANGERS and me and my partner really enjoyed being able to eat, sit out and watch the sun set . So happy! Can't wait to come again .

Wow. I did not expect to be writing a 5 Star review prior to my visit here after the mixed reviews I had been reading. However my experience was absolutely stunning. Staff were amazing, friendly and attentive. Music was great and not too loud & the decor is really cool too. Me and my partner decided to sit at the bar as we wanted to have a couple of drinks also this evening. Menus were given, orders were taken and the drinks were served instantaneously. Hats off to the lovely lady that made our drinks too, my 3 Wise Men was so moreish I ended up ordering another. Our meals were served in due time and I was completely sold after my first mouthful of thick crispy & juicy chicken schnitzel with plum sauce. The chips were great, nice and crispy with a perfect amount of seasoning. The eggs were perfectly executed and my night was complete. Thank you to all the team at Broncos, especially the lady that served us and the chef that cooked my meal to sublimity. Highly recommend and definitely returning for another great experience! Cheers

My siblings and i use to come here with our parents all the time when we were little and loved it every time, use to have little games on the kiddie menu to keep us entertained while we waited, not too sure if they still do them anymore though, but came back a couple weeks ago and still the food is delicious as ever, especially the garlic bread n butter😍 hohhh will always be my fav. Went here with the Mrs, using an Entertainment Book voucher, and it was so good we returned with the whole family (8, 10 and 12). It's a good family restaurant, with friendly staff and enough things going on to keep the kids distracted until the food arrived. Food was decent portions, with good steak (I had the 'Rustler'). The kids particularly enjoyed the sauce on the ribs, which they shared a couple of plates between them. The dessert was very good, particularly the "Chocolate and more Chocolate" which was big enough for two to share and very enjoyable.Would definitely recommend for families with kids around the ages of ours, if you like steak.

Went to Bronco's for dinner with a friend last Friday night and can honestly say will never go back. The drink that I ordered came out minus the spirits, just coke then when I asked to have some whisky put into the drink with coke zero in a tall glass the drink came back out in a small glass with the waitress telling me the Manager mixed this and he said he cannot put it in a tall glass REALLY. Ordered a coke for my second drink and guess what it never came out so drank water. The food was OK nothing special it seems to be a hit and miss with this restaurant so I will not be back and hope that other people have a better experience than we did. Was asked at the counter "hope you had a great night" and when I said NO and won't be back the young lady behind the counter did not know what to say. Needless to say the Manager / Owner needs a wake up call.

Meeting friends for steak dinner. Waitress had difficulty getting order and still didn't get it correct. 3/4 hour wait. Water I had to get myself. Staff friendly enough. But wont be returning any time soon. Extra charge for sauces is a bit unexpected.

I really wanted to write a very positive review. Broncos is an old favourite that I have not been to for a while and I was looking forward to an enjoyable meal. What used to be an inviting entrance was tired and dirty with unkempt gardens. We were kept waiting before a staff member came to seat us. (It was not busy) People who arrived after us had their orders taken before us. Chips were underdone while the battered oysters had been treated so badly that they were barely edible. We had to ask for water glasses and condiments. Sauce bottles arrived half full and unwiped. The scallops wrapped in bacon on rice was swamped with some kind of glue like white sauce. Staff were friendly but needed training. Prices are at Wynyard Qtr level or higher without the associated care or ambience. Sorry Broncos but you need to lift your game. The oysters were deducted from the bill.

The food is very overpriced given the very small portions and how bland it is. I came to this conclusion after ordering a steak for $32 that was 250g (take under one third of my plate) which would have been OK by my standards had the steak not been so bland.

We have visited Bronco's a few times now. Great location, superb western cowboy type theme. Search up in the rafters & there are a few hidden items all over the place. Decent Variety of pub Style dishes. The drinks are very good. Do try their cocktails. Great staff & very prompt service. We organise our work dinners & do's here often. Their outdoors seating is superb & has some great views. The only thing I found troublesome last visit was the Sun came right in on all of us at the table making it really hard to see anything. Unfortunately no blinds or anything to relieve our utter discomfort until the Sun dipped down. Not much the staff could do either but that's not their fault. No fans there either, considering the fact that we had such a hot summer this time. Apart from these gripes, awesome food drinks & service. Genuinely friendly & very efficient wait staff. Next time we shall check sunset times or book a better table. Or just visit at a more convenient time.

This is my go to place with hubby if we are wanting to treat ourselves. We dine here twice a month and are always happy with the staff and their lovely service Food is great! I've always tried to order something different every time I dine here it'll range from the restaurants soup of the day to their Steak meals and never get disappointed. My favourite dish would have to be the King Prawns; so yummy! We always buy a few entrees and a main meal each- the price never breaks the bank. Music choice here surprises me all the time. I love the throwback songs, one day it would be Richie Valens then Temptations the next (I'm not that old I swear.. only quarter of a century old 😉)

We have been going here for a lot of years whenever we can. Just love the atmosphere there with the mixture of music. Went there today for an early 44th Wedding Anniversary Lunch, Probably the best service we have ever had there, and we usually have pretty good service whenever we go, The food was really good, could not find fault with anything we had, We didn't leave anything on our plates. Had so much we couldn't even look at the desert menu. Our Waitress was so very friendly & very competent at her job, we will continue to frequent Broncos as much as we are able

Last time I came here was 5 years ago and it was amaazing. The food and service was lovely. However tonight was so bad. We waited patiently for someone to take our order. Waitresses walked past us many times but served people on other tables. Waited again. Still nothing. Had to ask for someone to take our order. Since we arrived we waited an hour to be served AND to receive our whole order, infact it was the only time a waitress came to our table! I do think its fantastic the waitresses knew their regular customers but that same attentiveness should be for everyone, then at least the long wait would be bearable. The food was below average. I had to politely force my kids to eat their food. Side salad was horrible. Mum found a bone in her salmon but she enjoyed the vegetables. Unfortunately alot of leftovers on our table. After paying $97 for poor service and poor food, I was very pissed off but thankfully not angry enough to embarrass my kids. Though they did end up walking out chanting "McDonald's McDonald's". Look the menu is fantastic and the place itself is great. But the actual food and service TONIGHT was disappointing. Maybe another 5years and we'll try again.

I came here because of my friend told me that this place was nice. He was a vegetarian and I think I shouldn't trust a vegetarian in a steak house. Anw, I order the steak medium well, and it was medium rare and my partner order lamb shank and it came as a cold lamb shank that leaves the grease/fat feels on top of your mouth, but the staff were lovely! Too bad this place not for me 😢

Ordered t-bone steak for medium rare only to come out as rare. It was so rare I didn't even bother touching the steak, highly disappointed. The quality and service of the meals in my opinion is definitely not worth the price. The service I would have expected to be a bit better, the waiters looked like they weren't bothered. Amazing! Came here tonight with Hangry Viz and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We ordered the bacon wrapped eye fillet with salad and chips and scotch with fries and garden vegetables . Both with Bernaise. Only downside was my medium rare steak was more on the medium to well done side. Bernaise was faultless and super tasty. The vegetables were steamed perfectly with a delicious cheesey sauce on the top. Fries were so good too. $34 pp and we had an entertainment book so 1 to 1 free. Can’t wait to be back ! Ps lovely friendly staff and awesome homey feel.

I've been a few times and each time it was been ok. Price range was relevant, ambience was relevant for a steak house & service was good. This was service to a big group and a couple so if they can handle that it's a good sign. Steak was done well but it was expected for a steak house. Still loved each time. Came here and it wasnt busy and waited to be seated. No-one came so we found a seat and menus were brought over. Then we waited for someone to come and take our order but instead worker A goes straight to the table of suits next to us who also came in after us. Still noone comes so we have to flag down someone which happens to be worker A. I ask her for an explanation as to why we havent been served then worker B overhears, steps in and apologises and advises worker A is new. All is well but then worker B becomes overbearing and basically doesn't leave us to eat in peace, kept coming and checking up on us and it was hard to talk when my mouth was full. I wasnt sure of she was making a mockery out of not being served to over serving. Anyways I went back another time and service was very normal, they even let us eat in peace. Food was okay, nothing amazing.

Went here for lunch today with my sister. First impressions:The entry door looked a bit run down and did not have a compresser thing at the top so it slams quite loudly. There wasn't really a waiting area just a sign that said wait here to be seated. We were promptly seated with menu's handed out. Lots of seating areas/table arrangements for indoor and outdoor. The circle tables had like flowery covered chairs which I thought was a bit out of theme and dated but the rest of the place looked nice. The music wasn't quite what I was expecting, it was more contemporary? I was expecting country but it was at a good volume. Audible but not too loud. We were attended to by 3 different waiteresses during our 1.5 hour visit. We just went for main meals. I ordered El Burrito Grande:It was alot bigger than I was expecting. More than enough for two meals, so I ate half and got the other half to take home for dinner. Good taste and epic portion size. My sister had the Chicken Schnitzel with Plum Sauce. She finished it off and had no complaints. They also provided a sauce stand. Tartare, Tomato and Secret Sauce? Our last waitress recommend that we try it, it was so good! Final thoughts: Some things surprised me (the food) and some were a bit underwhelming (the decor). I am definitely keen to come back. The prices are well worth the portions, you should have enough for a doggie bag. The dessert menu looks delish, especially the "Chocolate Chocolate and even more Chocolate" item.

I had the chicken and mushroom fettuccine and could tell all the ingredients were fresh and cooked together well and everything was at a great price. Was so happy to have found this place which I used to come for special occasions as a child. Love their Wils West style interior decoration & the warm ambience. Service was quick & attentive. The lemon lime & bitters we ordered was incredibly weak and did not taste of lemon at all, but pure soda. The chocolate milk shake was good though, tasted like chocolate dairy food, which made me feel like a kid again. And we loved our entree 'trio of bread' - the breads were hot and fresh, and all the dips were delicious. We especially enjoyed the garlic whipped butter. Unfortunately it all went downhills from there. My sister's fettuccine serving size was tiny, and tasted like it came out from the microwave. The plate was piled with salad, however, they were not nice salad. Tasted very bland & unfresh. My husband did not enjoyed his roast pork at all, said it was as if it came from generic roast shops, only much worse. My ribs were cooked well, but the honey BBQ sauce was also very generic, almost too sweet. And the chips were soggy instead of being crispy on the outside :( For desserts we shared the "chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate." It was kind of the saving grace - the ice cream they used was cheap, but the brownies nice and rich. Just wished they were hotter. Their filter coffee (bottomless) was also okay. But upon paying, they tried to charge us for 4 coffees when it was supposed to be bottomless. Shows that they did not even know their own menus well. An acceptable American diner/family restaurant for bringing children to, but you definitely do not come here for the food. Will probably not come back again.

Went here tonight and the food was well below average. I ordered the king prawns as an entree and the garlic butter they came in tasted as if it had been sitting around for days and was just quickly heated up. The salad that came with it was wilted and the tomato was not fresh.. my friend ordered the fried Camembert and it came out in under five minutes which was oddly quick. She was not given a sauce option and the salad on her plate was also not fresh. Service from the waitress that we had serving us was about a 2/10. She definitely had some attitude as well - which was dissapointing after reading the glowing reviews on here about the staff. Just an overall bad experience 👎🏽 what a shame.

This place is always packed and it's no surprise because the food tastes good and the portions are generous. My rating reflects mainly the food and service. The Hot Bread Cobb is pretty good and for mains, I've tried the Lamb Shanks-yummy and my hubby loves the Chicken Fajitas. The main size King Prawns and the Grizzly Catch are worth trying too. The staff are helpful and friendly and very busy! In terms of ambience though, it could do with a bit of refurbishment - it's tired, dated and rundown. The country western theme is great but it needs a bit of freshening up. Wouldn't recommend it for ambience, but definitely for the food and service.

We came here about 2 or 3 weeks ago and ordered the sharing platter for two, chicken calypso and the famous rustler. Sharing platter was yum! Such a good start because we were starving!! Even though I know it's brought from the supermarket cause we buy the same packs lol. Partner enjoyed his chicken meal, said all the components worked well together but chicken was abit dry. The famous rustler, well where to start, I was disappointed my steak wasn't hot, it was fairly cold. I had ordered the garlic butter specifically to melt on my steak, but it didn't melt... I appreciate the fact that my steak was cooked to perfection - medium rare, however it would've been nice to receive my meal hot and our meals served at the same time because it's awkward sitting there eating my meal while the person dining with you is left sitting there staring at you eat. Was an average experience, not over the top great, neither below standard. Considering I paid $83 for our meal, I had higher expectations.

Me and my partner ALWAYS get great food from here. He always gets either a steak meal or the bronco burger, beside the salad in the burger making his buns soggy he loves it. It's a great value for money. I usually get the baby back ribs, and they are so delicate and the meat just melts on ur tounge. The staff are always welcoming and very friendly. Parking can be a bit tricky at times. I thinks it's a nice cheap place to go with pretty decent food.

Not too sure about the last couple of reviews but i have been coming to Broncos Steakhouse for over 5 years at least once a week and never have i ever had food poisoning! I come here with my partner and order a bucket of beers to share, you can mix and match so she gets 2 RTDs and i get 2 Heineken. Some of my favorite meals are Chicken Burrito, i get it extra spicy! or the famous Rustler as it is Eye fillet wrapped in Bacon (best combo) Medium rare with the veges and cheesy scallop potato.

FOOD POISONING ALERT!!! To be honest they're even lucky they're getting a 1. $17 lunch meals are the best value, big portion sizes & no matter what you choose from the menu it is always scrumptious, choose from steak, pork roast, pasta, fish n chips, sweet curry, fried prawn cutlets etc. Staff are attentive & friendly, the saloon style restaurant is quirky & clean. Have been coming here since the lunches were $10 so nice to see they havent put the prices up too much over the years, will continue to visit & recommend Bronco's to all.

Very family friendly restaurant. Parking can be a little difficult when it's really busy. It's off a very busy main road. Food is very generous (like huuuuuuge) in portions and are very satisfying. They have an extensive menu and is very affordable. Thick shakes are really nice and come in a variety of flavours. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely come here again. You can also purchase their sauces if you like them. They come bottled up with their own steakhouse logo.

Took my daughter here for her birthday as she loves it. Its been easy 15 years since I was last here and it didn't disappoint. As soon as we arrived we are greeted by the friendly staff and soon seated. Service was wonderful, friendly and very attentive never having to wait more than 5 minutes for anything. The food was hot and well cooked - definitely value for money! My daughter ordered the babyback ribs which as part of the kids meal comes with a free desert. I ordered the coyote steak meal with chips/salad and pepper sauce. Add a coke and two Guinness plus my desert. Yummo! To add to this, , while we were eating a massive group of 16 people arrived and were seated and served with no fuss and the staff never let this distract them from their existing customers. Well done to all the staff tonight especially our server. I will definitely be back and recommending this to everyone.

We came here mainly for the baby back ribs that my daughter really wanted for her birthday meal. They were fine and lived up to expectations. The rest of the menu was disappointing however. At best, I would describe as nicely cooked home style cooking - your average home cook should be able to produce something similar. There was nothign special about any of the food we tried. The Hot Cobb Loaf looked and tasted like an oversized supermarket bread bun! It was left uneaten. A curious charge I discovered at home was the Sauce Selection for $2.90. We neither asked for nor used any of the sauces. I presumed they were placed on the table as complimentary , as you woudl expect at a steakhouse and when ordering a $35.50 Eye fillet rustler (which was neither succulent nor tasty) The service was good. Friendly and efficient, pity about the food. Overall the food was barely average. Your money would be better spent elsewhere.

We came in around 12 ish on sat 20th Aug n the place was just getting going. We were seated n served pretty promptly & the staff were very nice & friendly. However after 15 mins approx... maybe not even that, we were served 5 meals. I thought wow that's amazing! However.... I got the nachos I was wowed at first by the size of it & the look. Only to find there wasn't much mince. It was basically a massive plate of chips, cheese, sour cream n guacamole. The mince was not hot, luke warm at best. This is how I know it wasn't cooked fresh it was nuked in a microwave. It was dry and very tasteless. I was trying to figure out what the weird taste was n realised the guacamole was gross as! And seriously nobody needs that much sour cream it was like a whole tub! Needless to say I didn't finish it. My son got mini hotdogs n chips. Chips were over cooked, sausages tasted weird too. Only great thing was his sundae which he throughly enjoyed. The others weren't amazed by there's either. But it was better then ours. It's not the first time I've visited either & got food that's pretty average. No love in that kitchen for sure. But will commend you on good friendly staff & clean facilities.

My cousin recommended this place to us and i was really underwhelmed with the food here, had the ribs salad & chips, the salad pretty basic my 5 year old could make a better salad, it had no dressing, tasted disgusting not fresh at all. Ribs were ok but not great had better elsewhere. Also had the scallops wrapped in bacon with creamy sauce rice and awful salad once again, once again pretty basic, rice, salad, sauce wasn't tasty just bland and bacon wrapped scallops were way overcooked more bacon than anything. My sons lasagne had a hair in it, and they still tried to charge us for it. I wouldv'e been better off cooking it all myself. Decor is shocking really needs to be updated just feels old and sad really. The staff are friendly but i've had better service from mcds to be honest, i would absolutely NOT go back there again, first and last time!!! Theres just no WOW to this place or the food, I DO NOT recommend sorry😕

Broncos steak house is our first pick when my husband and I decide to go out for a nice lunch or dinner. The staff there are excellent, bubbly, welcoming and the service is GREAT! The Food is impeccable, we both have never been let down. We recommend this place hands down, BEST STEAKS IN TOWN!!My husband always orders the bronco rib and his steak always comes out just the way he likes it medium rare, myself I find that steak a little to big for me so go for a smaller one, and again done to perfection. I would highly recommend this restaurant and we do to all our friends and family

I would highly recommend Broncos Steakhouse to anyone, I've been going for years since I was a kid and it never fails to disappoint. It's definitely casual dinning so don't visit if you're expecting finer dinning. I recommend the snack menu, try the Yankie Burger or Loaded Spudskins, my two favourites. Huge portions and really good value for money, especially if you have previously brought their loyalty card. The staff are always really friendly, always different faces but make you feel welcome.

Came here for a girly catch up with some colleagues. I've dined here several times over the years it's been opened and its never been on my go to list. We ordered snacks to share and expectations for snacks were met. Good wedges, fish fillets and calamari rings. Prices are a little steep for what you actually get on your plate. Service was rather slow, waitresses kept walking past not noticing empty water bottles. However they are friendly when you ask them for something. I agree with most reviews that the restaurants decor is outdated, it has a very pub feel but is clean. People definitely come back here as whenever I show up its quite busy. It's seems to be a local favourite.

Came here today for lunch. It took a while to choose as the menu hasn't changed in years and the things I like I have already had numerous times. Please update the menu!! The first waitress was from Argentina and was great. The second was from here and asked if youse are ready? I ordered the burger and half the fries were burnt to the point they were hard and brown outside and empty inside...cook them less. My partner had the breakfast and loved it...even though the bacon was burnt too. The menu and the décor haven't changed in many years and really needs updating if you want people to become regulars.

After driving past this place for well over 10 years, I thought it was finally time to give it a go. The restaurant itself is extremely... 'Outdated' to say the least - and unfortunately I don't think this is on purpose. I felt as if I was sitting in a rest home with a touch of Wild West. Service was average and it took a long time to be addressed and seated - our waitress also changed about 4 times during the evening. Food came out 10 minutes apart. The food itself is pretty good, steak was cooked well and the prawns were of a high quality. I found the prices a little steep for what you actually got on the plate. All in all this is a cute local steak house situated right in the heart of manukau township

Were greeted straight away at the door and seated at a table inside. We were served by numerous wait staff and they were all friendly and professional. Meals arrived and were cooked perfectly. We dined here yesterday. Living in Melbourne we have a lot of similar places to Broncos, however they serve beautiful food at a fraction of the price. And service is second to none. Unfortunately the same can't be said of Broncos. When we arrived & were seated, we were given a bowl of cutlery then forgotten about. We had to find a staff member to take our drink orders and ask for water and glasses for the table. When we ordered drinks, one of our wines was forgotten. Again we had to ask staff where the last drink was to come on our order. Two of our meals were the roast pork meal. Very bland, no flavour and the meat was very dry - the meat was not eaten. Cutlery had to be replaced as when one of us went to eat our main with the fork it had a very strong detergent taste in it that made the food taste disgusting and left a sickly taste in the mouth (as you can imagine). So much so the person was trying to drink & try various other foods to get rid of the wretched taste in the mouth. It was as though detergent had fallen on the fork. Other diners in our group used the fork to make sure and they too were shocked. It's a shame as the entree of Seafood Chowder was beautiful & the steak meals ordered were also beautiful. However the whole experience was a complete let down. I certainly would not recommend this place to anyone. It's just not worth it.

Dined here 16/08/2015. This is our go to place when we feel like a filling meal! The portion sizes are generous they have a lunch special that is $16?? And the portion size doesn't change. Friendly staff with average service it really depends on who serves you. Ordered the cajan chicken and bacon salad and could not taste even a hint of cajan. Was just a dry chicken bacon no taste salad. On a Sunday evening, my friends & I came to Broncos for its steaks. We started with its garlic Cobs loaf. I had a T-bone, while my friends had Broncos ribs & rustler (eye fillet). Having read reviews that steaks were usually over-cooked there, we specifically indicated we preferred medium rare. They were, however, all served fairly under-seasoned (or should I say, unseasoned). Meat quality was definitely not good. Cracked pepper available only on request! To end, we had a big chocolate dessert for sharing - chocolate fudge cake with chocolate sauce & chocolate ice-cream. (Food - 2.5/5; Service - 3/5; Ambience - 3/5)

Broncos is one of my favourite places to go to for lunch, with $16 dishes who can complain?! Although some items on the menu may come off as a little basic, the portions are huge and are definitely value for money. There are two items on the menu that I will always order every visit without a doubt. They're the Crumbed Camembert and the 'Chocolate, chocolate and even more chocolate' dessert! The Camembert is definitely one of the best I've had, pairing really well with the plum sauce. The dessert is humongous and is able to be shared between two people. I'm a big chocolate fanatic and this dessert definitely hits the spot. The steaks have always been cooked well when I have visited, and items like the Calypso have gone down well with people I visited with. They offer an extensive variety of alcoholic beverages too which is always a positive. Overall my experiences at Broncos have always left me happy upon departure, will definitely be back for lunch again soon.

Dined here on Friday night with some friends. The last time I was here was probably 8 years ago and I remembered the steak being excellent. I came here with high expectations for the steak which, unfortunately, was not met. Although, it was not bad either. I ordered a medium T-bone steak with mushroom sauce on the side. The portion is huge, so you definitely won't be going home hungry. My steak was very well done and not medium at all. My friend's had the bronco burger and roast pork. The burger is friggin huge with a lot of stuff on it - salad, beetroot, egg, bacon and pineapple. Bronco's is quite reasonably priced and if you order right you probably won't be disappointed.

Broncos is a basic steak house serving basic food. The dishes are very very simple. Definitely no exciting flavours, instead just a huge lump of meat steamed veges and a sauce of your choice. The menu hasn't changed for as long as I can remember. Steaks are cooked well though. Decor is outdated. Looks more like an old pub. Service was mediocre in my last visit, made no attempt to apologise or explain why it took 50 minutes for our food to be served.

My partner and I came in for dinner one Saturday evening and found the seating arrangements to be quite compact..and uncomfortable as we were surrounded by larger groups that were loud. We ordered our meals at the same time and my meal came 15 minutes before my partners. My steak was cooked med. rare as requested and my partner had to send his steak back 2 times as his was far too rare. The second time he sent it back he told the waitress again med. rare and she replied that it was.. which was a little frustrating. Our steak and roasted vegetables were basic but okay. Unfortunately we didn't feel that the quality of the food met the value of its price.. the food looked a lot nicer than it tasted.

This is a hidden gem, one of the only decent Steak Houses around my town. The food is proportioned to feed an army and very tasty. I ordered scallops wrapped in bacon and it did-not disappoint, a delicious appetizer. Sirloin steak as main, cheesecake as dessert all very tasty and hit-the-spot. The steak was ever so slightly more cooked than the medium rare that I asked for but that was really not a deal breaker. It was still great and so were the accompaniments. First impressions had me in love with the decor, but i'm a country girl at heart anyway. Service was good, nothing memorable or spectacular. Just people doing their jobs. Drinks were served fast, so were entrees. Very lovely starter for myself, however my fiancee's seafood chowder was more of a soup consistency. Our mains were also served promptly, but my steak was very overcooked. After asking for Medium, I received what I would describe as Very well done.I was starving so ate it, but still a lovely cut of steak, over cooked-ness aside.Wouldn't recommend for the price, but i'm hoping this was just an off night as it was during xmas break. I came here 4 years ago and was amazing. Now in 2015 it is crap - my partner ordered 500g steak and it looked more like 200g. My coleslaw was wilted and sad looking, I have had fresher lettuce from McDonald's. My "marinated" chicken was not marinated at all, just drizzled in disgusting lemon sauce. Something has seriously gone wrong with this establishment, and I will never be back!!!

Was it what I expected...yes...not fine dining, but didn't expect that, good tasty filling food in a comfortable environment. The meals were served reasonably quickly - My two kids enjoyed the kids meal combo (ribs, chips and chocolate sundaes - drinks were extra..) and my lamb shank meal (2 x shanks), whilst probably blasted in a microwave to reheat was devoured without complaint (tasty sauce and mash, broccoli). A busy Saturday evening but good friendly service was enjoyed and seated immediately on arrival. First visit in years, but would certainly consider returning.

Have been here many times and have never been disappointed. We went last Saturday night and were seated straight away. The staff were very friendly and quick to take orders. We ordered the crumbed camembert entree which were crunchy and delicious with gooey cheesy centres served on plum sauce. For mains we got the beef burritos (I often get these - huge portion and so tasty!), the farmhouse chicken (also big portion) and the Bronco Rib with garlic butter (big and delicious). We also had sides of kumara chips which were real nice and crunchy served with a delicious aioli and battered onion rings which were also super crunchy and yum! Our mains arrived quite quickly however it wasn't particularly busy this night and have had to wait longer in the past. From previous visits I can also recommend the sizzling fajitas (which come out on a sizzling hot plate), the weiner schnitzel and the lamb shanks (HUGE with a tasty sauce and mash). And don't forget to order a traffic light drink! :)

Dined Here last night, Service was very poor, my entree took 45mins and the resturant was only half full. Our mains took another 35mins, My steak under cooked. And my friends crumbed chicken was very dry. We were seated at a wobbled table. It was 8.30pm and they had a kiddies movie playing and not a child was to be seen in the house.Very unimpressed by the quality of food and service, I would never recommend this place to or good there again!!!!!

Went to Broncos Last night for dinner with my family had a great time. I had a T Bone Steak cooked just right with really nice vegetables and mushroom sauce. Kids loved their free dessert. Nice, warm friendly place. We'll be back.

Our family have been going to Broncos for years but sadly we've noticed a big change in the meals, the steak meal is too expensive for what you get and the quality and cooking of the meat is poor, very disappointing. The day core looking tired and worn, Bronco's needs a good makeover, especially the toilets and carpet. However the staff is friendly and polite.

We visited Bronco's on a Saturday evening and sat outside at the BBQ tables. A Steak House? I think they need to decide - are they a restaurant or a pub! The service was very average - very much seemed it was a production line - get the order as quick as you can, sell a drink, feed them, clear the table for the next customer. When you are paying good money for a steak (prices similar to those charged in central Auckland) you have an expectation. The food really matched the BBQ tables that we were sitting at - it was a piece of steak (actually - a hunk of meat) that was dropped on the plate, a lettuce salad that looked like it was taken from a countdown mixed lettuce bag, and a handful of fries. Not good at all - the meat was tough and no where near worth what was charged - actually I can cook steak and present food better than this. I will not be visiting this Restaurant again and will not be recommending it to anyone. If they want to run a production line operation they will need to adjust their pricing accordingly - we actually felt quite ripped off.

I am a local and have regularly gone to Broncos over the years and found the food good value for $$ and consistent. Unfortunately on the last two occasions I have been I have been really disappointed, and suggest the owners take on board feedback to remedy as if I was a first time visitor I won't be impressed. I notice staff are young and need to be more attentive to the customer - we were directed to a table which was obviously not properly cleaned (crumbs on the table and seats), we never got water that was asked for, and food was not served at the same time - so our meals went cold while we waited for the kids meal - which was piping hot so the child couldn't eat it straight away. In general - staff would benefit basic training - were clearing tables rather than keeping an eye on paying customers, clearing plates before others on the table had finished. I have been to Broncos for most of my life - but if nothing changes, I have to say I will need to find another local!

I have to say after living in Manukau for the last 3 years and trying numerous eateries in the area and being greatly disappointed in the lack of quality and just general passion for food in Manukau, this place is a go to for lunch with the kids. You will leave full and the kids will be happy. Have only been here for lunch so can't comment on the steak. The lunch is great value for $16 The plates are massive!! My girlfriend and I usually share the chicken schnitzel which is awesome comes with fries and salad. And my darling daughter who is a bottomless pit loves it too as it is always a stretch for her to eat it all.. Quiet kid happy mum:) The food always comes out quick and hot and they make great cocktails too. Keep up the good work guys:)

Been here twice for lunch food was applying. Clearly there is no chef working during days as no chef in there right mind would serve the quality of food on offer. Save yourself $16 for a over cook no care serving and go to Mc Donald's as the food is better there much to my disgust of having fast foods as opposed to so call restaurant standard food being offer at this place. Have ordered pork which was so hard the steak knife couldn't cut it. Have ordered mixed sea food which had two squid rings two mussels two fish bites for $16 frozen thawed then over cooked couldn't even cut with steak knife. Come on it's a disgrace this place calls its self a restaurant. It seriously needs a Gordon Ramsey to save this place. What a shame will have to give away last lunch voucher to people I don't like anonymously.

Went to Broncos, Manukau on Thursday night to celebrate a birthday. Ordered for my grandchildren and my 86 year old mother. Decided I wasn't too hungry so ordered the child's steak and egg meal only to be told You cant do that. The waitress got the Manager, who came out and told me I couldn't do that and she better not see the child's steak meal in front of me. Felt so embarrassed. My mother couldn't eat the breast chicken. It looked like it was hard boiled and drizzled with some yellow sauce, the steak was tough. I'm glad I didn't order the big steak or I would have wasted my money. So not to disturb or upset the birthday girl I waited until I went to pay my bill and told the Manager whose body language said "who gives a sh*t" Waited over an hour for food that wasn't even touched. Never to return to this dreadful restaurant, rude staff manager. Not recommended at all .....

If you are after a hearty steak dinner then this place is perfect. Recently went for dinner, my partner ordered the Bronco Rib... well he couldn't finish it as it was huge..but he was definitely super happy.. I had the Fillet Mignon which is called something like a rustler on the menu and it came out perfectly medium.. The cheesecake we shared tasted homemade and was doggy bagged with no qualms. The decor is quaint and the music suits the Steak House vibe.. the service was as expected, not fussy just neighbourhood friendly.

Stopped in for lunch and initially impressed with the ambiance and service (which was friendly and attentive throughout; credit to them). However, all that took a dive when the food was served. A third of the steak (medium rare ordered) was raw at once end, the Pork Chop which was described as succulent; was anything but that, and the Baby Back Ribs were overdone and chewy. Seriously; the quality of food as it is will not bring me back; there are heaps of better diners out there.

Bronco's Steak House in Manukau is a brilliant restaurant, we have been dining here regularly for years! Always wonderful service, delicious well cooked food and a pleasant atmosphere. It's saddening to know others have dined here and not had experiences as pleasant as us, but we hope you won't rule this place out based on other reviews. We love it here and will always come back.

We visited Broncos Steak House tonight for a friend's birthday dinner. We were shown to our table and the table beside us which was empty when we arrived were given the menu by the waitress before us? My wife ordered a Shrimp cocktail and found a bread tag in her lettuce? The Manager informed us that was because the bread is kept above where the shrimps were kept in the chiller? My daughter ordered a medium steak which covered the plate in blood once it was cut into. She was embarrassed to complain after her mother had done so. The price of my wife's shrimp cocktail was taken off the bill but even so the standard has certainly dropped as we have dined at Broncos for years you seem to get about 4 waitresses serving one table? Or no service at all. To top it off my son ordered a side plate of wedges which came after he had eaten his main. With the amount of restaurants in South Auckland I don't think I will be automatically thinking Broncos in the future. What has happened?

We had a really good time here last night. The service was good, the steaks were cooked to perfection, the salmon too. portions were generous and the meals served promptly. We'll be back. Came back last night (25/4) as a group of 7. All the food was delivered promptly and everything was perfect. The service was great from friendly and efficient staff and the food was good quality, well cooked and presented. This is definitely a good informal and relaxed place to eat.

Have been to Broncos 3 times now. First two times were average but thought I'd give it another go as my partner works locally. Definitely won't be going back! The food was bland, steak overcooked and salad was wilted and over-dressed. The service was nice and friendly, but the waitress didn't seem to know much about the food.

I have been going to Broncos for a few years now but after last night I won't be going back. The glasses set on our table for 9 were dirty, took longer than expected to bring our orders out, we received them after 2 tables were served, both of which came in & ordered at least 20min after us. One group being larger than ours. After querying where our food was we were told they were waiting for us to finish our entree, meaning : 1 of our group of 9 who ordered soup (wtf?) and finally when our meals started coming out the 1st few were wrong. One waitress slammed our plate on the table deliberately, very unprofessional, then went on to tell the manager that she was sworn at, hence her actions. Which was a baldfaced lie. Bad service, bad hygiene, ok food. Better off going to mcdonalds.

Heard a lot about this place from our South Auckland friends. Went there for lunch on a Saturday. I ordered Surf and Turf. Unfortunately, it was a bit dry and bland. Honestly, they could have been a bit more generous with the sauce! Hubby ordered medium rare steak - it passed the steak test, but nothing to shout about. They should spruce the place up - our table was quite dirty and had dried bird poo stuck in between the crevices of the table. Also, their waitresses are terribly slow with understanding or accepting orders - I asked for the menu twice and she forgot - despite walking past our table so many times. Honestly, how hard is it to remember orders when the restaurant is hardly full of guests?

My sister flew out to London on 26/1/13 and she decided to have her last family dinner in NZ at Broncos Manukau. I went online to check out the reviews for this place and actually expected the worst. Luckily I work in hospo and know better than to take reviews seriously. As it really is based on 1 persons opinion when choosing a place to dine. But when we got there it was actually surprisingly really nice. The atmosphere and the staff were nice, Although there was a lot of staff on just standing round, not in a bad way, there just wasn't enough customers yet, but probably needed to be given something to do by the manager. However when our meals came out they were massive! No one finished their plates, and not because we didn't want to. They tasted and looked super good. Best feed I've had in ages. Highly recommend them and well done :) p.s (the kitchen definitely needs a tidy up. Not the best look when your bathrooms are just across from it)

Thought we tried out Broncos Steakhouse what a disappointing experience. The rump steak was tough and dried out. The Garden salad that was supposed to come with the rump was a single lettuce topped with a slice of cucumber (wtf?). The mushroom sauce was straight out of the can and the pepper sauce tasted like dish washing liquid...Will not eat there ever again. They are overpriced and the food is disgusting!!

Absolutely appalled at the level of service received at Broncos today. We eat here on a regular basis however never again. The steak my partner ordered was supposed to be medium rare, the first half was verging on well done, while the last part was red and bloody and basically almost raw. When we pointed this out to the waitress she spoke to the manager and came back to ask if we would like the last bit to be put back on the grill, this is after the rest of the meal is finished. What I would have expected was an apology and perhaps offer of a free drink, dessert or some discount since we have not received what we ordered. However no such thing was offered and when we went to pay for the meal, the manager proceeded to deflect the blame back on us for not pointing it out sooner, we again reiterated that the first part of the steak was cooked, but she should be able to visibly see in front of her the the last part is so undercooked it could make you sick, no offer of discount Or anything and even went and spoke to the chef with no explanation except that the steak must have been thicker towards the end part, a poor excuse for a 'steak house'. When ordering and paying for a meal, you would expect to receive what you ordered and if not some compensation, and that's the whole meal being up to standard not just the partial meal. Manager needs customer service skills and training on how to deal with complaints. Will never eat here again.

Over the years we have dined here a few times. Our latest visit maybe our last one. The original waiter forgot to bring a jug of water. The Camembert starter was promptly served, but we both thought it lacked something, the taste was just not there. Our Mains arrived after a shortish wait, but it looked and tasted quite dry. My chicken breast looked like it had fought Mike Tyson. My wife also commented that he meal was fairly dry and uninspiring !!! The several waitresse's that attended us, were friendly and often checked if everything was OK. It will be quite sometime before I will dine here again :-)

Great steaks. Great service by one waiter. Not so great the next time but he was still great. Should have got his name. But steaks satisfied and cooked as requested. A great night out at a local place. Well done. Keep staff in check ere their service and you will be all good. eg. a waitress had to be asked for a dessert menu and then she did not bother to come back to take an order. She continued to clean out an empty table which while is important it is not as important as getting the customers that are already present a satisfactory experience. But love the steaks, oh I did say that already.

Broncoes has always been our favourite "go to" family restaurant, but our last visit was very disappointing. Portion sizes were ridiculously small, (although did still taste good) and and queries were met with shrug. I did pass comment on my experience when paying, which was also blatantly ignored. Our family often have meals at bronco's steak house. Recently the adults' lunch portions had been decreased but the meals were still a reasonable size, so no complaints. However, on our last visit our grand daughter's favourite baby spare ribs order, from the big kids' menu, had been reduced too drastically, to a tiny portion of spare ribs. That was really disappointing. Apart from that we were pleased with the food and service at Bronco's and would not hesitate to recommend it.

Absolutely the worst meal & service I've had in a very long time. Bronco's was a reasonably priced, well run establishment....not anymore. Just under an hour to have our orders taken & that was only after we complained. Believe it or not but the person that took our order wrote it on.....her HAND!!!!! Prawn entree was disgusting. Mains, steaks cold & either over or under done & tepid. One childs dessert of jelly & icecream took 15mins. Sticky tables, bad service, bad food.

Slack service! Booked our table for 8pm got there and got told we have to wait outside coz people are still sitting at the table, they've eaten but they haven't moved on. Waitress even had a cheek to ask us if we wanted to eat outside on the smokers deck, to which we replied firmly - AHH NO we don't enjoy smelling smoke whilst eating! We didn't get our table until close to 8.30pm GRR! Ordered our meals, which weren't all that. Asked for steak to be "Well Done" it came out bloody. I think having to wait for our table that we booked way in advance during the week absolutely sucks! We will not come back to this place again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone either.

The place is gorgeous and it's very much kid-friendly, they even gave my friend's daughter a colouring book to entertain her. Our committee of 16 adults pre- ordered our meals from the entrees, mains desserts, sides, breads & refreshments. Every single menu was on time cooked the ways we wanted it, very very geneous servings, excellent value for money (worth every single dollar). Approximately 10 of us took a doggy bag home, now isn't that telling you something. absolute compliments to the "CHEF & WAITERS & WAITERESSES & BAR STAFF" Thank you all so so much, highly recommended to all other potential diners, I tell you, you will not be disappointed.

Went to eat at Broncos last night.. Service wasn't great at all. Initially wanted our group whom booked 2 days in advance to sit at different tables I think not, so I ended up pulling a small table together and we squeezed shoulder to shoulder just to fit. Meals cam out at different times so found half of the table eating whilst the other half sat for about 20 mins for food to come out. Steak was sent back as Coyote steak was over cooked asked for medium come out past the point of well done.. My partner by that time of waiting 50 mins for food was hungry to decided to eat it anyway. Not a very good experience but I am willing to give this place another go as Friday was possibly there busiest nights.. Hope when we go back after calming down in about 6 months service is much better..

We went here as a group of friends and found it quite nice. It did take a while for the food to come out but when it did all our steaks were cooked beautifuly and they all came out at the same time so no one was left out. We were lucky to have some discount vouchers which left us only paying $40 per couple...otherwise it looked like we would be paying around $100 for two people including drinks and just a main. Good place if you have the money and good atmosphere too :)

What a shambles of a place! One excuse after another for long delays & ultimately not so good food. We had been here before & found it reasonable & "traveled" back to it - we shan't be doing that again - don't they realise we have "Other Choices" and don't need to put up with slack, uncaring service! We will be going elsewhere! SUMMARY -20 minutes to be served, the 45 mins+ for a Scotch fillet- that was actually a rump?? at $28.50 EEEKKKK (the order was lost I reckon, but take ownership please). Tasteless chips, heavy sauces, and to top it off - rude, condescending (oh did I say staff that lie!! or do they actually believe what they say?), and "superior" senior staff. RESULT - Inconsistent and not worth the gamble - not going there again and would NOT recommend it to anyone who has choice!

Had high hopes for this place because it was so busy when we got there. Had read about the cobb loaf so was looking forward to it. Very disappointed, thought it would be home made bread and the garlic butter had a very strange taste. The baby back ribs were v good and we were sorry we hadn't ordered them as a main because the 2 steak dinners were horrible. We had the Desporado and the Rustler and both steaks were rubbery and overdone. The potatoes and pumkin seemed like they had been cooked in deep fat fryer which made them very greasy. The service was quick but the food quality was very poor except for the rib entree. We had a voucher for 2 entrees and 2 main meals. When we went to pay we were charged extra for the garlic bread because it was not in the entree section. The lady would not let us have the garlic bread as an entree even though it cost less than the other entree items. Will definitely not be returning.

My Partner & I was in for dinner and I am a chef also, we had great service from as soon as we entered the restaurant. Our food and drinks was tasty & lovely not rushed at all, we had 2 entree's the Cobb loaf with garlic butter and baby back rib's tasty we loved them, then followed with our mains 2 Crumb Chicken Breast Schnitzel with salad and fries and then a Banana Split and drinks also we enjoyed our self's so much we will recommend Broncos to all our family & friends, for $76.00 that we spent for all that i think that's pretty good value for our money.

My wife and I went to Bronco's on the basis of the reviews on this site. We went early around 17:45 on a week night. The service was fair, but the food was what only can be described as below standard, poor. Both of us agree that we have eaten better food on airplanes. We will definitely never visit this restaurant again.

I would like to be able to rate this restaurant but as we waited for 15 min before finally giving up on any order to be taken. We watched 3 other groups come in and get served. We gave up and walked out. I don't think the staff laughing and joking behind the bar even noticed we'd even been there at all. But it did mean we found a fantastic Thai restaurant at the Gardens in Manurewa. Thai Tradition. 4,1/2 stars.

This place is fantastic. We often find ourselves skipping "new" restaurants in favor of our old favourite Bronco's. Food is always consistent, and tastes the same every time and the size does not change either. Their entrees are delicious and I would recommend trying the Cobb Loaf with whipped Garlic Butter. Its delicious!! Prices are very reasonable for what you receive and service is usually good. Have been going to Bronco's since I was a kid and I would rate them very well to anyone who asked me.

My husband and I felt like a night out and made a choice to go to Bronco's, the greeting on arrival was refreshing, smiles and happy see us. Table service I couldn't fault, the hot cob is fabulous, could not fault the food, the steak was cooked to our perfection medium rare the variety of vegetables on the plate was great, and waitress checked with us if we were enjoying our meal. If its steak you're after ... they're one of the few places that get it right. Food is of very high quality. Mostly service is great too, have only experienced one incidence where something was obviously wrong, perhaps short staffed, as they were very slow ... but as regular diners, that was a oncer. Its a popular place, some of the waitresses seem to be rushed, but they get the job done. We've never had a complaint about the food. Good on ya Broncos !! Value for money.
