Review Sushi Bar Hayama - Manukau

I must say I was quite impressed with this airport food after an year of living in the UK. The vegetarian ramen reminded me of Mr Donut ramen (+ lots of fresh vegetables), the avocado in the roll was very creamy and the seaweed aromatic, and the Inari was plump and juicy without being soggy or overly sweet. I wasn’t convinced the “sushi” was actually sushi (=vinegar flavored rice) though. Couldn’t taste any vinegar…

The food came fast and tasty as well. It was a little bit sweet so i added chilli flakes. If you are fan of Japanese food, order with miso soup it’s perfect food pair

I tried the spicy chicken Ramen, and they kindly changed the noodles to rice noodle due to my gluten sensitivity , really enjoyed the noodles and the toppings.

Spicy pork ramen. Delicious find at the airport. Service from Ryan was great. Greeted me with a smile and was very nice. Food was served quickly. I really enjoyed it. Good amount of sliced pork and tasty noodles.
