Review Burgerfuel - Manukau

Lots of parking but very busy so was a little hard to find a close park. Bit of a wait but good service. Loved my burger, hubby was ok with his but didn't feel it was worth almost $18. Kumara chips were yum, but again, quite pricey for the amount ($7 for a carton and aioli). Glad I tried it once, but not sure I'll go back often due to the price ($40 for 2 burgers and kumara fries)

Absolutely fantastic! Great portion burger with every bite filled with flavor! Big highlight for this place are the lime thickshakes, these guys do it justice! Definitely a gem of NZ that you need to try!

Always a good burger but this trip my fries were obviously a bit rushed as the were quite soft. Usually the food is always fantastic so this was probably a one off. Certainly would not put me off going again and highly recommended for a good feed. Wasn't that keen on the chicken fenders. But maybe that's just me, seemed quite pricey for what I got

Been coming for years. Sometimes staff don't seem bothered or happy to be serving you. Burgers are great but sometimes a bit greasy. Strawberry thick shake is the best in the city though!

Went in to try the new vegan plant based mini cheese burger aka Beyond Beleaf Burger. Customer service was excellent and the place neat. The burger however, is not everyone's cup of tea..and it's true, the plant based patty really does taste like beef but also leaves a weird taste in your mouth throughout the rest of the day. BUT, do try it at least once to experience it for yourself!

Very tasty burgers and chips. It is more expensive than other chain food (Macca's, burger king) be it's worth the money. The place was clean and the staff friendly, no negative comments for this place.

Server unsure about AA card perks. Could have gotten fries for free.

Went there for the 2 for 1 priced Burger promotion. The service was really great with a very pleasant smile from the young lady taking orders and subsequently serving them. She was seen serving every customer consistently with same pleasant smile. Was really pleasing to see such great service especially at 5.30pm on Tuesday evening.

Great burgers, best Kumera fries, friendly staff.

Very nice and cozy place with various options for burgers including gluten free and vegan. Very warm on a rainy day.

Delicious burgers and fries all the time. Biofuel burger, Kid’s cheeseburger & Kumara fries are on-point. Awesome service from the staff as well. 👍🏼

This branch is not overly crowded and the food served rather fast comparing to other branches and situ in front of a carpark. Plenty of parking space.

Food and service was great but the awful manager kept yelling and belittling the staff in the kitchen. They seemed to have gotten a few orders wrong so he was patronising them and they looked on the verge of tears. I would not go again if he was still in charge as it was an awful place to eat food in.

My partner and I come here every now and then when we’re feeling brave enough to spend almost $50 on two meals. we usually get the Bacon Backfire, Bastard or Burnout. Every time we come here, we’re never disappointed in the food or the service. They have their good and bad days but we’re lucky enough to all catch them on their good days. Waiting time can be a little bit long but all worth it in the end.

Excellent service, food and atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful even when we had a big group! Manager was going above and beyond to help our group! Highly recommend.

Ordered the bastard, burnout and nuggets kids meal tonight and the meal was great. Definitely worth the money, but not something I’d have on a regular, more a treat and something different from our usual places of Wendy’s or McDonald’s. Best thing was the aioli with the fries and mango/ beetroot mix in the bastard. Delicious!

Really great service tops off a well done burger! Glad burger fuels slowly making their way further south. Maybe just making sure the option of thick shakes were available online as it seems their usually sold out

BurgerFuel Manukau never fails me! The food is consistently hot, fresh, made with care and so tasty. Spud fries are a winner as are the special beer battered chips.

We had bbq roaster burger, bacon backfire burger and fried kumara. The tastes were fairly average. Friendly staff, convenient and ample parking space.

Food & Beverage : 6/10
Service : 6/10
Price : 6/10
Ambience : 6/10
Came here today with my partner and friends and was pleasantly surprised to see the good presentation and timing of our burgers. Glad to see the improvement and looking forward to my next visit.

Had the Bio-Fuel and Ford Breakout
Size wise it's a good deal
taste wise its kinda normal or maybe depends on the person tasting the burger
I like the bio-fuel better than ford breakout but I can definitely come back and try other burgers
Should you try their burgers?
Yes if you are really craving for large sized burgers with many other stuffs with the burger
No if you don't for burger that much and just want a small snack
Give it a try for yourself.

Never try burger fuel and this evening just wanted to have a quick meals so pop in for a burger. Service was good and burgers taste good as well but find that the kumara portion quite small for the price you paid for. Will be back again to try their promotion chicken burger which looks good on the poster.

Came here today. Wasn't aware of the normal trading hours however the door was open, so my partner and I walked in. We were in Burgerfuel for a few minutes before a staff member abruptly informed us that it didn't open until 10:30, however the door was still open. We went back again at 10:30 and I ordered my burger, I ordered the Nacho Libre and the staff member in which I had previously encountered gave it to me in a bag assuming that I was going to take it away. I ended up eating the burger inside and it's contents spilled over the brown bag I received it in. I didn't even have anything to hold the burger together, the actual name of the cardboard escapes me. The burger wasn't full of flavour, and was quite pricey at 13.90. The actual restaurant is really nice, it's edgy and i really like the layout of the restaurant. However my main disappointment was the service and the burger itself.

Loved the food and service here. The lady that served me was friendly. I had the Bastard burger, cheese burger and kumara fries, so delicious. A bit of a wait but worth it.

Good burgers and and fries and very filling I think the price is reasonable too. I ordered a vegetarian burger last time I went which wasn't very good tho

A busy day called for a lazy dinner so it was off to Burger Fuel as a change to the usual easy meals like Thai/Indian etc...
Have had mixed experiences at Burger Fuel in both service & food quality/consistency over the years, but of late they've been pretty good. I get they are a burger takeaway, but they're not cheap so you want a good burger each time.
One of the great things about this place is that they usually have a special burger/meal - they aren't always successful but love their attitude in trying to change it up.
Service tonight was great - friendly & helpful. Again has been patchy in the past, but of late really good.
Have tried most of the menu, but tonight was a Bacon Backfire with Beetroot added & a V-Dub Vege (for the meat eater!) Both burgers were great - even the vege burger went down well with lots of flavour. Only disappointing thing is that the way they pack the burgers means one always gets squashed :( Would be great if they could sort this.
Also ordered spud fries - these were cooked & salted well. Aioli always nice on the side. Would be great if you had the option of the lemon aioli as that is even nicer but only comes with the chicken fenders.

The only problem I have is how inconsistent the chips are. They can be nice and crisp one time and soft and undercooked the next. Somebody needs to do some chip cooking training.

used to be my favorite burger place, I didn't mind spending the extra money (compared to other burger places) to get a decent sized burger with fresh and delicious toppings.
However, I'm not impressed that they have taken out the medium sized buns and was shocked when I orderd a bambina and it came out on a tiny bun with way less sauce than it used to have.
Why did they do this? My daughter was left hungry also but we don't want to buy the largest sized burger which is too big and quite dear. Please bring back the medium sized bun. The small buns are really just snacks!
