Great lil spot that captures so much of Japan. The atmosphere is great with the tablet ordering system is good too. The food just blows your taste buds with umami and freshness. Will 100% be back

Beautiful atmosphere. Friendly welcome and seating. Showed us how to order and couldn't believe how fast everything everything was bought to the table. Fresh and so delicious! Love this place

Stopped by for lunch. It wasn't too busy and we got a table beside the kitchen. The big menus on the tables give you plenty of options to choose from. I generally go with 1 big dish and a couple of side dishes for two people. What was new to me was the big lunch bentos which have a variety of different toppings depending on which one you get. Food was tasty and beautifully presented, particularly the bento. Service was really good, they came as soon as we were ready to order. Really nice place for good Japanese food but be wary that you may order too many things on the menu since it all looks really good and it does add up.

This is my new favorite place. Expect to spend a lot but man it's totally worth it, the food was incredible and the waiterless ordering they have is a real novelty, 10 out of 10!

This place has been our all time family's fav Japanese restaurant in Auckland. We been keep going back and bring friends there every time we feel like Japanese food. Good selection of dishes, reasonable price (before they increased their price recently), easy parking, and food are fresh and tasty~

Over the years this place has gotten more expensive, but yet I still come back every now and then. The food quality is still good (recommend the karaage) and service is using iPads to order now which makes it faster. Good Japanese restaurant for East Auckland locals with plenty of road side parking.

Consistent quality the few times we visited. Great variety of food, and mostly worth trying. Love their unagi don & agedashi tofu.

Hot pot was interesting. Good to note soup looks very little, but once it got boiling, the soup and flame was just enough. Calculated, is how I'd put it. The sashimi was great, sliced a bit too thick tho, I guess I'd prefer if it was thinner with a bit more slices. Karaage (fried) was a bit too dry, and presentation wise has room for improvement. Overall, good place. Would recommend. Lastly, it order online with a tablet provided on table! So novel!

Nishiki will always be dear to our hearts as it is me and my sister’s favourite Japanese restaurant. It is our go to and we have celebrated a lot of birthdays and milestones here. Although we keep looking at their Menu, we normally order the same things anyway haha. Our staple is Miso Dengaku, Imo Mochi, Mushroom Nikuzume and Yaki Onigiri. Sometimes we spice things up with 2 or 3 new items to find things to add to our staple! We love the fact that you just order with the iPad now too as we get to scroll through the menu and order in our own time. It is especially accommodating to my sister who doesn’t enjoy ordering in person much and usually makes me do it :P We craved it so much during lockdown that as soon as delivery was available, we ordered through it too! It came at the right time that we booked the delivery. We admit that the service levels and food quality are not always consistent though and we hope you continue to do your best in improving. One of my fave spots in East Auckland! Lots of vegetarian options. The miso eggplant is delicious!

Nice Japanese restaurant. Love the virtual ordering and fast service. Waitress forgot to give us our ordering tablet.

Great place for a great meal. Always have the best food. Fresh and tasty
