Thanks a lot to Mehfil Indian Restaurant, Botany for making our ring ceremony special, specially thanks to Karan and all the staff for all the decoration . All the staff member are very helpful. The food was really delicious, we love their food always because they have good service and serve fresh food.

They have refurbished with a pretty good look. Able to do shisha outside or simply enjoy some good spicy curry :)

Food was good but took a alot of time to be served...

Good service, excellent Indian dishes. Plenty of car parks. Nice and ample space to dine in.

Ordered takeaway on a Monday evening. Thought we would give it a try despite bad reviews. Service was really nice, one of the staff offered to carry the food out as we had quite a large order. Really affordable ($10 main Mon-Wed), and when we brought it home the food was all really well cooked, tasted great! Will definitely go back again..

This is my FAVOURITE Indian Restaurant EVER!!! The food is DELICIOUS!!!! The staff are quiet but friendly, the decor is contemporary and very nice. If you require seating for a large group, all you need to do is phone in!! The prices are AMAZING!! Specials on Monday, Tuesday AND Wednesday!! Top quality food and service every day of the week and every time that I have dined (or had lunch) there!! Highest recommendations, BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT IN TOWN!!!

New change of Chef has seen food quality rise. Excellent even. Music too load to hear others talking, unless they yell. Otherwise a very good experience. White tablecloths lift the establishment to a quality restaurant.

Wonderful tasty food. My associate ordered butter chicken - hot. I made the mistake of ordering my Rogan Josh mild. It had no heat at all. We shared the meals and I was glad to sample his hot butter chicken. Been back to try the lamb korma - absolutely delicious.

Amazing food!! Perfect to host parties for 60 people and above. Their party hall upstairs gives you a nightclub-vibe & good for hosting private occasions. Went in as a group of 7 & we loved the ambiance, the seating was comfortable (half-circle cushion sofa). I highly recommend their prawn entree, chicken tikka, madras beef, paneer tikka masala & their Mehfil special chicken curry. Butter chicken was a bit too sweet, but tolerable. The only downside would be their dessert (less quantity). Excellent customer service esp, the waitress named Lucky. Will return often. Their mains are $10 every Mon, Tues & Wed which is very cheap

Horribly bad customer service. Despite confirming on call booking for the shisha, the manager denied on arrival. The management needs to be improved alot. Though visited enough times but always disappointed with customer service, specially the manager. The owner must look after the management staff before hiring. Have never seen such an unwelcoming restaurant and staff. Rather than prioritising customer satisfaction the manager was rude and harsh. Specially visited from north shore to the place after confirmation but such after such an experience, would never recommend anyone to visit the place.

Called to book a birthday party for 30 people and guy name Harry was not really helpful at all . He was not interesting to listen and help us . We told us to call them tomorrow and hang up !! Extremely rude and unprofessional . I am glad I didn’t book this place

Don't waste your money at this place. Had ordered a takeaway when I get there I was charged for the dining menu. When I enquired staff said that is new pricing that is available online from last week. Menu at the desk still has the old pricing. I paid and got back home, checked online about the charges, and couldn't even open the menu. I called them up, the person/ manager on the phone didn't even apologize for this mistake let alone refunding the money.

When I arrived into the restaurant I was greeted and felt very welcome was served with grate manner and food was beyond amazing, I was seated I had shisha and food with 20min. I often travel and go to many restaurants and would highly recommend. Thank you for the great service and appetising food.

Please do yourself a favour and eat at home ratherthan going to this filthy place. The staff doesn't cares a but about the customer, the food they serve is not fresh and COLD ! When you complain about it, you don't even get an apology from the manager !

Food quality was below average. To noisy averyte they opened the door to the smoking and drinking area the noise was disturbing. Never going to visit again.

Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. However service was average! We went in for dinner, after staters no cutlery was given out except for the dinner plates. No water was given when we arrived (most restaurants give water once we sit) curry portion and rice was just too small for the price of $19. Not a cheap place to eat. Chilly Chicken was amazing as well as the butter naan. Seekh kebab, and the tandoori stater was average as well.

Really bad service they don’t know how to talk with customers. And trying to charge me more than I ordered. Manager is also not look like professional. Not want to come again. Really upset with this premises. That was my 2nd time to this premises. Bycott to Mehfil.

Went to Mehfil restaurant for dinner, food was great but the service was questionable. Had to call the waiter multiple times for drinks, water and cutlery. I believe the place requires proper management to improve customer service. <br/>Apart from that - enjoyed the food.

Totally disappointed at a private party yesterday. Served very little snacks, none refilled, half the guests didn&#039;t get a chance to try. Dinner was served cold, with no arrangement made to make sure food stays hot. We were told if we don&#039;t have the dinner on time, this is bound to happen. The Manager who wears a turban was seriously arrogant, the owners should look into this before the regulars start turning their back..

Food is good but hospitality n customer service is lacking. Music from a private function was way too loud which was not going too well for the diners. We had to shift tables, pass cutlery ourselves. The place looked short-staffed with one person manning several tables. Needs to definitely work on customer service for a place which dishes a good cusine.

We came here for our dinner date. First of all no service as we came in nobody ask for nothing seems like no staff there.we have ordered chicken tikka masala with naan.i found hair on my food which was disgusting..very poor service .staff doesn't know how to communicate. Was bad experience over all..they guys spoiled our date<br/>

The staff are so rude,pathetic and have no respect for elderly people. My Grandfather was taking a mint and one of the staff shouted "Hey, hey". We ordered our food 45minutes before arriving and it was still not ready. They also got my order all wrong and we waited another 20minutes. Never going there again.

I’ve been here about three times and each time was a real let down. The food is good but the wait time and staff are very disappointing. It ruins your mood and appetite. Even if I called beforehand and asked how long when I arrive there is still another 20 minute wait. They even got my phone order wrong which I confirmed 3 times. I definitely won’t be going there again.

Great service!! Felt like a prioritised customer, food was excellent, environment was comfortable and felt welcome at all times!! Food was very satisfying and waiters were very helpful!! I would come back here again and would recommend to anyone else looking for a good Indian meal!! Great place!!

Food is delicious here but service is a real let down. staff almost seem like they don't wanna be here and they argue with you when paying the bill. have come again a few times but service seems to only get worse... Food is not worth it for bad service. ruins the whole experience

This place so shit! I normally go here for shisha but recently I had a very horrible experience with the staff. While I was waiting for my other friends to arrive, I was told to wait outside! In the cold.! Also the staff were very rude when we went to order. The tables and chairs are also very disgustingly dirty outside! (You guys really need to do something about this)They offered us a table that was filled with ash on the surface and when we asked them clean it. We were ignored. Awful customer service! We won’t be back here again! Low grade. This place!!

Usually come here for work lunches for their 10$ lunch special. Generous in portion which is why most of us come back. The food will definitely keep you from working after you’re done.

Came here with a group. Service isn’t really that great (took 15 mins to get a bottle of water) food leaves quite a bit to be desired. Disappointing

Food was good, we come here all the time because of it. The kebab platters were dry. The worst customer service I have seen in a while. We came and waited for a long time for the menus and water. We had to remind them many times and they kept ignoring us. Finally had to go and fetch the menus ourselves. They messed up our order and tried to charge us for it. REALLY disappointed this time. Probably won’t come back.

Food was the only thing that kept the place going from the looks of it. Heard & experienced a lot of good & bad things of this place but no point sharing all the details. Please do check your bills before you pay. No use of complaining to the manager as he gives attitude. Staff seem not interested or happy in the hospitality job but just doing their job without a smile as if its a thing to do and get over with. Its like they are doing a favor on us that we dine in there and pay for their slow service. Washroom, too dark inside to hide the actual dirtiness. Cant say much on the kitchen where the food gets prep but can only hope its not as dirty as the washroom. Suggestion: make brighter lights so that its easier to make use of our eyes to read the menu. Thanks & hoping to see & hear the improvements.

I dont know where to start reviewing my experience at that place. We were eight people went to dinner, they serve entrees without plates, we have to ask them about it, then no spoon with mains. Ask one guy there for napkins four times and end up going to counter and pick myself. They was so confident to offer us kids menu but half of thing i try to order in that was unavailable, i didnt get the point why they make a menu that cant be offer to guests. Food was ok ok just like any other indian restaurant nothing special, i think this place need a good management otherwise someday it will close due to poor service.

Good setup but terrible service and awful staff. No sign of professionalism in the hospitality business. If you order food here be prepared to wait for a long time.

We booked an evening function and were given upstairs.  We were the sole ones upstairs.    It was a Wednesday night so $10 specials.  It wasn't booked out as such for this time of the year and downstairs wasn't overly busy.   From when I arrived and to find out where  we were going to be seated was a drama.  It was hot upstairs, they knew the booking & did not turn air con on until we arrived.  We got  4 menus for 20 people to get more was not computing with the waiter .  Only 3 staff on and they forgot about us upstairs.   Two jugs of water and there was an infrequent waiter coming up and we were not told we could fill our own jugs of water from the empty bar upstairs as they took so long to come up to see if we needed anything.  It took 2 hours for our food to arrive..  Food arrived and they didn't know who ordered what and the rice was the last to arrive.  Absolutely shambles.  The man at the desk was struggling to take the customers money while two others tried to run the business.   I would hate to see it on a busy night.  Improvements required.

First time here. Came with a group but my husband and I arrived late. We waited for ages for our food. The $10 menu is such a good price but for the time we waited it cut their rating big time. I ordered the butter chicken it was hot when it came out. It was a medium but couldn’t taste any spice and to me was really salty. The portion size was reasonable however there was more sauce than there was chicken. Husband ordered the Korma. I preferred his food as I enjoyed the coriander in it...but a bit salty as well. Not very generous with the naan size. Service was a bit hit and miss. Decor is ok clean and tidy. Would have liked to have given a higher rating. Not too sure if we will come here again.

Tasteless food I ever had from a restaurant. We ordered 7 curries all were tasteless and oily. High prices bad food. Not going back ever. 

We had two butter chicken mains mild and medium. Medium was more like hot. Weird taste to the sauce maybe to much salt? We had takeaway not dine in. Not worth $16.

I give this place the best I been coming here couple of times love the food service is ok I knw the owner well they nice and friendly the waiter is friendly they have a party floor upstairs with music. Outdoor seating is good sit outside to chill with mates for few drinks and shisha.

Good ambience and food was delicious. The $10 lunch special is amazing value. We got the butter chicken, Paneer Tikka and Chicken Saag. The waiter did get our order wrong but the curry was delicious non the less. We'll definitely be back again for more lunch curry.

This place use to be really good when it first started. The presentation was good, service was fine and most importantly the food was awesome. They have special 10$ curries mon-wed which was the best. Unfortunately for whatever reason it has just gone downhill. Food is not as tasty as it use to be. The seating is nice but the place needs a big clean. We sat on a table next to the wall and there was splatter or nasty marks all over the wall. Menu was sticky but what was worst was I saw the male waiter who was setting up the table in front of us dropped a knife and proceeded to just pick it and place it on the table like nothing happened. Would still go there for the curry special every now and then but wouldn't pay more than that for it.

Service was so terrible and unprofessional. Didn’t have half of the drinks we ordered because they were out of stock. Took 1 and a half hours from when we ordered drinks to get out food, not sure why because there was about 6 people just standing around?? And it wasn’t even that great to eat. Butter chicken was tasteless and another dish purchased by my family member was medium instead of mild. Menus were filthy to touch!! So were cutlery and glasses. Our waiters had to come back and check our orders twice because they had failed to write them down properly. Our cheese naans were great but nothing else. So disappointing that we spent our money and night out for a birthday dinner and didn’t even make the most of it. Don’t ever go to Mehfil Botany Junction<br/>

Nice restaurant but nothing great food wise. The staff was ok. Honestly didn't enjoy the entree. Mains were better but nothing that matches a fine dinning restaurants. Since we had an early booking, service was good. Food wise it's just good for takeaway while they do their special prices from monday-wednesday I think. The decor is good.. but the cutlery and dinnerware is too old.. there was nothing in the restaurant that ur paying for to sit in there.. and there are some awesome Indian restaurants around. This one is far in the league from them.

Had my bros 21st! Bathrooms was disgusting to start off with. Had to ask the staff to place toilet paper in all the toilets. I dont even think you want to know more! My cousins wine was in a dirty glass! Also the wine was off! Yes it was returned! But hats off to the chef, food was spicy but delicious! The lack of it! Such a slow service Would not be booking again. And your dj! Sucks! Also the venue was not cleaned out from the previous party! And we were expected to do it ourselves! Are you serious? We had to stash someone else’s party shit behind the table! 🙄

Love the food! Very filling to the stomach for a $10 lunch meal - definitely worth the money. The atmosphere was quite and calm and gives off a comfortable feeling. The customer service was average. <br/>Edit: price is no longer $10 but $13

Love the outdoor setting for shisha. Not a fan of the food though. Great place to chill and have a few drinks or byo. They need to start cleaning the toilets daily too 😀.

Had reserved a table for my birthday dinner. Service was below average as there were no menus on the table and we had to go to the bar to get some also had to wait a long time for our drinks so we got them ourselves. I’ll say all service staff especially the ones behind bar need training. They seem nice but have no clue what they’re doing. Only one guy checked on us and made sure everything was good which was a plus. Food was ok. Ambience is real nice though. 👐🏽

Had this about a month ago, I guess I've only just recovered from the food poisoning. I had lamb korma with a long black hair in it, and a naan bread with extra beard or eyebrow hair in it, I was absolutely appalled, I've had plenty of Indian food but I've never had anything quite like this. Wont be coming back.

This is the best place ever love there food so delicious they have dj outside and sit and chill. They have a function hall upstairs the owners are nice and the waiters/waitress. I often do go there nearly once a month.

Group of 7 for lunch. $10 lunch’s. Mine was fine (veg korma) but toilet disgusting. Looked like someone had puked in the sink and there were 2 large tablets and a knife on the sink. The rest of the team had butter chicken and the rest rated 2.5/5 and tikka masala which were not sure really was and had to return once. Have been coming here for a while but have watched it go down hill somewhat.

I enjoy the food whenever I go there. The portions are big and prices are reasonable. The décor is wonderful too. On Friday nights they have a DJ outside with colourful lights and I think I saw some people smoke shisha there.

Lovely place. Certain workers don’t have good customer service skills but most of them are kind and check up on us to see if we are doing fine.

Tandoori roti, first one which arrived was good, ordered another x2 which they forgot about, when they arrived we had to send them back as they were raw .........<br/><br/>This place has a good atmosphere and vibe <br/>But the service / finish product is always a fail. <br/><br/>Till next year when one of my unsuspecting friends/family members books a birthday or event with you to which I have to show up.

Used to be a great indian place to eat at when first opened great customer service good food as time went by service went out the window and so did the flavours for some reason its way cheaper to eat here during the week but the food is taste less no greeting as you walk in you have to ask the clueless looking staff if you can sit down have to ask for a menu its no a courtesy to bring customers menu as they sit down if you are ready to order you have to find a staff and ask them if you can place the order for which they are never ready for they leave saying “I’ll just grab a pen” and never come back then you have to find another staff to take your order who will take a while getting to you they’ll be a few other men walking around in staff uniform if you ask them to take your order they look at other staff and say take there order I mean you are right there what’s wrong with you just take the order. After you place the order it takes 45 mins for 2 dishes in a not so busy restaurant to get to you and if the food was yum I wouldn’t have a problem with that but the food was so blend felt we were eating a thick creamy paste with just salt and sugar..I would not recommend this place to anyone

Authentic indian food with great staff and ambience. We have ordered food from here number of times and was never disappointed. Highly recommended if you want cheap food.

I'm reading the other reviews here and they weren't what I experienced at all. The waitress was lovely food was good portion sizes were decent. Will definitely be coming back here again.

As mentioned before by others, the level of customer service is probably worse than a chinese takeaway. The food was quite nice when I went though.

Hired this place for my son's lohri and it was a massive let down. Starters were served cold and dry. Service was absolutely pathetic, took ages for them to serve my guests were left waiting, chicken tikka and lamb kebab tasted like rubber. Salad consisted of thick cut white onions some soggy cabbage instead of lettuce no cucumber. Dessert was served on plates rather than in dessert bowls with no ice eam scoop either my guests had to use their spoons and on top we had to provide dessert. Promised in house dj who turned up fashionably late, told we could use you tube to play out own songs then then the internet wasn't working. Really a big let down. A total embarrassment in front of my guests week were angry and willing to walk away to restaurant down the D road. Won't be going here ever again. Don't waste ur money either.@sandeep singh

The food was lovely absolutely beautiful cheese naan was nice and the chicken curry was nice also nice atmosphere in the restaurant. But the service was not very good, not bad, just very not good, when we walked in she just looked at us with no smile with a look like what are you doing here and after we left she also looked at us and said nothing with no smile. A little greeting will be very inviting once we entered and a thank you once we leave and how was your meal when we pay would be better but overall the food was fantastic

Came here for a quick lunch one day. This place looks super lively during the night with its beautiful lighting outside, so I've always been intrigued.<br/><br/>We ordered veg Manchurian, tandoori chicken and butter chicken. The Manchurian was very nice, lots of flavour. However the 2 chicken dishes were a massive let down. The tandoori chicken was the driest meat Ive ever tasted and the butter chicken had a strange tang to it (perhaps something had gone off?).<br/><br/>The service could definitely be improved. The waiter wasnt very enthusiastic or welcoming. He also didn't bring us utensils with or after the mains. I had to go to the counter to ask for them, and then I was told to go back to my seat and someone will bring them - leaving us sitting there for about 10 mins not being able to eat our food.<br/><br/>Despite the food, I have heard the night life here is great - unfortunately that is not my scene.<br/>

We order Tandoori roti it was so hard to eat and the order took 1 hour to come through. Same happened with lassi and cold drink. I would say it was the worst service ever

Came here a while ago with some work friends. Place had a nice set out and nice outdoor area. But that was all that was good about this place. Poor service, it seemed as if most of their staff were on their first day, hardly any knowledge of what was on the menu. took over an hour for food to be served even though we were the only ones in the restaurant. Food was average.

Everything just bad... oh plus they tried to change us extra on the items we never ordered. Told my mate about it, mate said same thing happened to them too!! Be careful.

Celebrated a birthday party - initially good service but price for corkage changed twice without consulting. Got overly charged for drinks not really drunk. Meat platters were not enough brought out. Mic stopped working so couldn't entertain guests by my singer who I hired. Glasses on tables weren't clean... very disappointing. However food overall was good shame can't say the same about service.

My first visit to this restuarant and the service was great. Both my son and wife also liked it. The customer service of the 3 young ladies was also great. They even asked for a feedback on the quality of food. They served with a smile and always kept a close look if we needed anything. Paying quick attention to customer need is important and this is exactly what they did. There was a minor delay between the entree and mains being delivered or else I would have given full marks.

I am here to look at their menu again for takeaway tonight and was surprised to see such a low score given I have been to them twice and on both occasions I throughly enjoyed their service and food. They have especially Monday to Wednesday which is very good value. They changed my plates between my entree and main which was a surprise. The entree was however a little over fried and dry. But the curries and nan were really good. I'm going there again tonight.

This restaurant is so beautiful inside, definitley recommend for a special night out with loved ones.Good enough service and a massive selection of wine and spirits. The palak paneer was beautiful. wish I'd gotten medium, not mild, as I'm usually a little wary of ordering medium on my first visit to a place.<br/>The food did take a long time to come but regardless,<br/>Will certainly be back.

Bad service at mehfil botany lots of noise ordered mango kulfi three of dat they sad they got two later after 45 mins they come up wit wrong order we went to mehfil just to eat desert but service was very slow

Great new addition to the local community. The restaurant is always quite busy and the people are quite courteous. Dined multiple times with bankers, colleagues and family.

Good food BUT Service is pathetic. Rudest and most arrogant manager i have ever dealt with. Not sure who and how he is called a manager when his service and the way he speaks to his clients is just Wrong. We had to walk out of the restaurant in the middle purely becos of the service. Do not spoil your evening by going to this place. Be sure to be disappointed

I went in with a large group of people, understandably not all food could be here fast. However, my section of the group did not get food after several kind-hearted complaints... after an hour of waiting finally received half our food while the other many had already finished. In fact someone who came 40 minutes late to our group had gotten their food. By the time half our food came, it was time to pack it up. Keep in mind our naan bread and rice each had not come. Later I went to ask for a refund on the Naan and rice and a worker tried to swindle me and later my friend out of our money. After hearing that someone else in our group hadn't received food (5 hours after function started) we confronted another, at least much nicer, worker. The lady again began speaking her language to him not realising we shared the exact same culture. Trying to undermine us and swindle us again, underpaid us AGAIN... the other worker checked the prices just to be sure - after we asked about the wrong price for the nth time, we ultimately got the naan bread money back because of this nicer apologetic worker - but not the rices. And the guy who never got his food, was told no refunds so while we were leaving they BEGAN making his food!! What business does that?? First time I've ever been upset at an employee (I usually aim to be very understanding and nice) and the worst restaurant service received. Surely, would be against ethics to refuse refunds and fail to provide food - along with horrible service. At least my company was more than amazing otherwise would have lost it then and there. Unfortunately for the first time in my life would give 0/10 if I could.

Really bad customer service, we had booked in advance ( 5 of us) they allocated us table at best suited for 4 people, when we asked to be moved to a bigger table the manager simply refused what was most annoying that most of the tables were free. So we left and went to Ravizs down the road much better service and food. Will not be going back.

I went there with my family and i had a great time and enjoyed each bit! The restaurant its self has its greay beauty. It has a really great atmosphere. The food is amazing esp the gadwali chicken and The rasmali my fav!<br/><br/>Keep it up guys will be back for sure!

I'm only reviewing to comment on the service that we received which makes us reluctant to ever step foot back in here. <br/><br/>Me and Dalia heard about this place doing shisha so we were super excited because it's so local to us. We arrived and it was great. We were sent upstairs to find out it was indoors shisha. Not sure how legal that is but nonetheless, this was great for us because it was a cold night that night. <br/> <br/>The waitress that we had was really lovely and recommended a flavour that we hadn't tried and it turned out to be really good! Our shisha was made really well and wasn't rough. <br/><br/>We were then getting peckish and as we had 2 other friends coming we thought we would order a snack. The menu had poppadum's as a snack option and a 'poppadum platter' as a entree option. I asked our waitress if it made more sense to get the platter considering we had more people coming. (Keep in mind, the poppadum platter didn't specify how many poppadum's we would receive hence why we asked for the waitresses opinion) she said it definitely was the better option. We received the dish and it was 4 poppadum's along with 2 dips. This was really irritating as on their snack option it was 4 poppadum's for $2.00 and each dip was $2.50. In total, if we had ordered it that way it wouldve cost $7.00 for the same amount. The poppadum platter is priced at $8.00. We told a different waitress of this and she laughed and said 'Oh well, now you know for next time'. What a ridiculous answer. If we had known we were only getting 4 poppadum's we definitely would not have ordered it. We didnt even want the dips it came with. It was only a difference of $1.00 - which we paid, but the response was disgusting and by far not how to run a business if you are ever expecting your customers to return. <br/><br/>The other two people came shortly after and ordered a shisha as well. This one was made terribly and produce little to no smoke. We called the waitress over and asked us to blow some smoke out, which he did. It only produced very little smoke and nothing like the first one we ordered. She then laughed - again, and shrugged her shoulders and said it works fine to her. For people who smoke shisha on the regular and have been to basically every shisha spot in Auckland - it was by far not "fine".<br/><br/>There was also a loud group of 8 – 10 middle eastern women smoking shisha in the same area as us and the noise was fine until Mehfil gave them free reign over the music and let them blast Arabic music to the point I couldn’t hear my friends talking. Don’t get me wrong – the arab music was not the issue. It was the fact that they allowed guests to have free reign of blasting music through their speakers without being considerate that they have other paying customers still there. <br/><br/>They really need to work on their customer service skills and not be so geared towards how to make the 'easiest buck'. We could have been really loyal customers producing alot of business for them, but never with service like that.

The food was not that bad actually. I ordered Prawn Masala and malai cofta over the phone on Wednesday. I<br/>Specifically asked the receptionist if prawn is included in 10 dollar main deal, she said yes so I went ahead and placed an order. When I went to pick up she charged me the standard rate for Prawn so I asked her that she told me its included in the deal over phone but she refused to believe. She was not sure who was on the phone but wasn't her. Anyway I paid the full-price but it was nota pleasant experience. Too rude to be receptionist I would say. The naan bread were too cold and there was just one rice box with two mains. Overall a bad experience.

Service prompt. Surrounding nice and obvious an effort had been made. Thought the actual menu printing could be improved. Lamb  curry  my husband enjoyed- lots of meat. I had the beef  korma - nice enough if not a big meat serving.. 3 different serving persons asked if we were ok within the short space of 3 mins. Would return but not rush back .

Went on Friday in a group of 15 ppl for Birthday Party had to wait for 30-35 minutes for Entrees and finally when we got our Entrees they were still cold and when we complained and asked for Manager he/she never came and we were told Manager is not available at the Premises . Food was never replaced and we were told Kitchen was busy and we had to eat the same cold food . Long story short It is one of the worst experience we ever had and not recomending it anyone . Watch out people dont ruin your evening because of them .

I booked Mehfil restaurant the one in Botany junction for 15 people.<br/>The food was serves cold and when asked upon they dint want to change and asked if we could speak to manager .<br/>Yes manager did not even turn up , even though we asked three times and they said there isnt any manager.<br/>Crapiest and shitiest service and food ever we had .<br/>I am writing this review while i am sitting here and dining with my 15 mates. Didn't like the service at all. We were served cold food. We came here to enjoy a birthday party but instead we were being frustrated over the late serving and when we asked for the manager he didn't even show up. The 1 point that I have given is for the wonderful screen view in front of our table. I won't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Ordered food well over 40 minutes and still didn't receive it. Only after complaining the lady came out with plates and said 5 minutes but the food still didn't arrive. A couple that arrived after us with a baby ordered their dinner, ate it and left. That's how poor the service has been.

Called to order takeaways. The guy taking the order was rude on the call. When i reached the restaurant, found out they made lamb when i had told them i want beef.. which i confirmed twice wit the guy on the call. They did not even apologise for the mess up they made. Food was average taste wise. Have had way better elsewhere.

Very good Indian food. I have had to edit my rating and this is because the last three times I’ve been they have been incredibly rude, terrible service.

I have gotten take away several times and the value for money and taste of the dishes have always been very good. I ate there dine in for the first time today and was extremely dissatisfied. The serving shrunk incredibly and felt very ripped off. The image in this post was for an appetiser that cost $15.50! It did not taste fresh and was spread on the plate to look like there was a lot. The curries came is a tiny bowl (but tasted good) where when you take it away there is enough for another meal. The rice was also minimal and when I asked for a bit more they said it would cost $4. Shame, to not have had the consistency of dining in. I gave them the feedback but just got a nod.<br/><br/>On the up side the staff were very attentive and eager to assist with genuine smiles.

The food was flavourful you could taste all the spices. <br/><br/>From beginning to end of our dinner the service was excellent.<br/><br/>Friendly and helpful staff. Affordable prices.<br/><br/>Will definitely be going back again.

Fantastic food and ambience. We've been to Negril once and our experience was quite good. Food came out on time and all dishes were perfect! <br/>Good to have a nice Indian restaurant in the neighbourhood.

Good quick service but dishonest on commitment.<br/><br/>We've been there to have our gathering but our reserved table was given away to someone else and my guests had to wait out in rainy weather. After a wait of about half an hour we got our congested table in which chairs are too close that the next guests were getting disturbed while eating. Later, when they became quiet I asked them to install one more table but it never happened.<br/><br/>They shown a totally different menu prices which I was shown at the time of booking. I would say they might have given takeaway menu by mistake but people don't make bookings for takeaway or do they? Corkage was overcharged than discussed price with the manager (Ishant). <br/><br/>The food was average but the service was quick. The manager & the bartender lady was really patient & helpful.
