We usually come here once or twice a month for the cheap half-rice, half-curry combo. The food is always hot and delicious. Quick service, and one can order his meal over-the-phone.

Fish and chips were surprisingly good. Butter chicken not salty enough but the naan was good. You get a huge amount of food for such a low price. I just stumbled upon this place after my visit to Hobbiton.

Lovely friendly lady is not able to offer the full menu at the moment. The curries, rices and naan were delicious. I will keep on going to support her. As it is tasty and the combo is great value for money. Looking forward to the chef returning in six to eight weeks from now.

Great curry. Don’t be put off by exterior. Sitting here with a mate from Birmingham UK and it’s as good as, if not better than, anything we can get there.

We had the Combo Deal (Butter Chicken + Basmati Rice + Naan ($10) & Chips & Curry ($5). Creamy curry and crispy chips. Extremely valuable for the price you are paying.

No words can describe my experience at this stall! My friends and I come from Singapore, and had strong craving for fish & chips.
Chances upon this stall and ordered butter chicken and the “$10 special”. It was totally worth the value especially for the $10 special. 2 “HUGE” fishes, 2 fried circular potatoes, 2 LONG crab sticks and loads of fries! The butter chicken is really sweet as well!
Trust me! It is really worth visiting and eating over here.
The bosses was really sweet and pleasant!
Definitely do come and try it!

We shared the curry (butter chicken) lunch deal that had rice and naan and ordered an extra fish between two people. The curry was very yummy!! It was bit too sweet for a diabetic like me but it sure tasted great in my mouth. Another guy had a fish and garlic chips for $6.50 and he said it really filled him up. We ate there because of the weather but it's more of a takeaway. And the lady who cooked and served was very warm.

If you are visiting or passing through Matamata, you must try this place. It was a pleasant surprise for us.
Amazing food, great service and friendly people. Had an authentic Indian food after a long time.
