The service was incredible! We ordered at the till, and the gentleman who served us was impeccably polite. Our meals and coffees were promptly served. The mixed kebab I ordered was the best I have enjoyed for quite some time! The ingredients were fresh, even though I'd ordered a small it felt like a large once it arrived, and the service was excellent. I could taste the love and care that had gone into the preparation of my meal.
The setting is warm, relaxed and friendly. Not overly 'in your face' so, but more of a gentle welcoming warmth. Perfect to enjoy a quiet meal.
Enjoyed a lovely meal here last night. Delicious food! Nice restaurant with plenty of room to move between tables, so not bumping into other diners when passing. Atmosphere is good but would suggest a play list without annoying ads between music. Needless to say we do like this restaurant. We'll be back to try other yummy dishes
I had the Prawn and Scallop fettuccine. The flavours were to die for. There is alot of seafood in this dish to and the perfect amount all together. Best pasta dish i have ever tasted. 100% recommend. And the Mama bread is delish too.
Best food ever in Matamata. Beautifully presented. Lovely athmosphere! I had iskandar and it was amazing! I will come back for more.

Had a pleasant dinner here after visiting Hobbiton. Really enjoyed their Mezze Platter to start things off (the hummus was great). Had the Lamb on Charcoal for my main course and it was delicious (I'm not an expert on lamb, but it was tender and juicy). The service was good and the place had a nice atmosphere. They had an adjoining take-out counter for folks on a time-crunch.
What an absolute delight this evening. I was so impressed with our charismatic waitress, professionalism at its finest. The food was an absolute delight, lovely music in the background and an exciting atmosphere. Every table seemed to be thoroughly enjoying themselves. I will definitely be back!
food was absolutely delicious. Kids love the food. Place is elegant and clean. Staff are friendly. A good place to go. A must try steak. 😋😋
A creamy rice pudding with vanilla ice cream on top it was amazing and delicious. Place was nice and relaxing. Staff are very accommodating and even the chef's was so friendly to all the guest I'm going to recommend sofra mediterranean bar and grill to all my friends.
