We are regular visitors to Shackleton's, and it never disappoints! The wine and drink list is extensive, as is the menu. Our highlights include the arancini ball starter, the lamb rump, and the salmon. We have also had delicious pizzas here, both dine in and takeaway. The salmon pizza and pulled pork pizzas were our favourites. A bonus, Shackleton's are also part of the First Table promotion. Great service, good for kids too, warm and cosy atmosphere and breathtaking views of the mountains.
Absolutely incredible, definitely be back soon! Beautiful lighting, food was all so high quality and tasty and the plating was extremely impressive. Staff was very switched on and attentive. (Definitely recommend the lamb rump)
I’ve eaten and enjoyed many meals out locally but last nights meal at Shackletons Restaurant, Brinkley would absolutely be the most tasteful meal I’ve ever eaten. Beautifully presented on the plate and every mouthful was devine !! I had the salmon. 😍
We had a lovely meal at Shackleton's Bar & Grill. The staff were friendly and attentive (special thanks to Martina & Mia), the range of food and drinks available was extensive, with many local ingredients and suppliers. The atmosphere was nice, with a fire to keep the restaurant warm in the cool winter months. We were sorry we didn't have room for dessert, as the options sounded delicious! Will hopefully be back again someday soon to try them.
Cosy place for dinner. We had two pasta dishes and both were very good! Good wine selection too.
If you are staying at the resort, they also serve drinks to the spa! The mulled wine is perfect to drink in the spa after a day in the snow!
Sensational meal! Best we have had in NZ all holiday. Good service in a cosy little restaurant. Can’t fault. YUM.
