super nice people running this place, and they do have much more on the menu than most places, including lovely salad, ribs, spring rolls, all of which were really good!
Fantastic music and atmosphere, staff are really friendly and helpful and know there menu well which seems to be becoming a rarity. Fish was great burger was amazing and hearty came with hand made buns which were delicious. Prices were very reasonable and food was ready in no time even with the place being busy and people coming and going. If your passing through Methven or in the area for snow boarding etc definitely worth stopping by. Didn't get any pictures this time will try remember next time I head through.

Stumbled on this place when I stayed over in Methven. I love burgers and got the Big Nessie for dinner. Its been 12 hours and I'm still thinking about that burger. If you love an over sized, extra flavour 🍔 this is the place for you. If I'm ever with about 30km of the area will definitely be back. Pizza was great too but I'm a burger man. Yummmmo
Quite possibly the best takeaways I have had. Burger was fresh, big and tasted awesome. Good prices. Will be eating again on my next trip to Methven
When we looked at the menu and saw the array of options, we had our doubts about the quality. However, the food was amazing. We tried the souvlaki, pizza and wedges and everything came out beautifully. This place is well-priced, fresh and tasty. Highly recommend!

"More choice than most" is an understatement. The range on the menu is superb and all the hearty feeds I've had from there (Mexican , Southern, Italian, Kiwiana...the list goes on) have always more than satisfied my hunger.

Wow this place is awesome. Huge selection of nibbles and meals. They have great value for money and delicious food. I recommend the burgers and pizzas. They make there own burger buns and pizza dough. If you want to visit a Methven Mount Hutt original Village Takeaways on Main Street is the place to go see.
If you're looking for the best chicken burger ever ask for the Ryan burger! Beautiful. The staff are amazingly friendly, they prepare and cook their own meat etc. Best takeaways in Methven without a doubt!
