Delicious breakfast!! For me, it was the best breakfast I had in NZ! The latte was also very delicious! Adorable, sweet women running the show! If you’re in Methven get you some yummy breakfast here!

My coffee was ok, my partners coffee tasted different to mine, and they were both cappuccinos.
Only gluten free options were the sweet cakes.
However the atmosphere is nice, with a fireplace and a couch infront of it, and a kiddies play area.
Been here twice and it's been great each time! They have the best iced chocolates and iced coffees! Food tastes great chips are always nice and hot and crispy too! Great vibes of everyone who works there are just so great and inviting!
Best coffee in town! Owner/barista Donna is an expert coffee maker. Entering the Topp Cafe is a true mid Canterbury experience, with Topp Twins memorabilia - and if you're lucky you may even catch a glimpse of the Dame herself. The food is really great, a favourite is Eggs Bene!
Great service, super friendly. Kid friendly with a play area for under 5s.
Nice big tables good for family size groups. Clean and well done decor with great theming without getting cluttered.
And the food was full of delicious cafe essentails. We tried the ham & cheese paninis, cheese rolls, cream donuts, fries, and flat whites. All were great :)
First time here and instantly impressed. Lots of seating as well as accommodating for Children with toys and tele/movies. Relaxing and very country (I love it) and my highlight was meeting and taking selfies with Jools! The food was delicious. I got the Panini ($9:50) and the chai latte (4:50) reasonable prices. Overall 5 Stars. Already want to come back to try something else. ^-^
Rate 5 stars based on the blueberry muffin i have tried. I usually go for the blueberry muffin aross the cafe i visited. I have to say i haven't had such blueberry muffin that make me go WOW in a long time. This muffin is perfectly heated up to the core and i get to enjoy the super moist and soft texture, along with that oven baked aroma of the browned surface of the muffin! I dont even need to compliment it with the additional butter served with it.
It might not be big in size, but the taste is definitely what i will miss and make me come back for. It made me realise what have been missing in all the previous muffins i tried, which are usually not fully heated up / dry / lack of the oven aroma.
Besides that, service is good and the mocha i tried is just about as good as other cafe.
Great food, coffee and overall atmosphere! The staff was super friendly and nice, will definitely come again if we have the chance!
Just had lunch here and it was delicious!!! I had Eggs Benedict with spinach and my husband had a beef burger and huge fries!!! Very very tasty and lovely service. Thankyou - we will definitely tell our friends and family about this cafe!!
Best eggs bene in Methven. Service was faultless atmosphere was alive staff friendly and accommodating. Definitely A+++
