Pudu Malaysian Restaurant - Mount Eden - Photo album

From entrées to mains, we enjoyed every dish we ordered. Their sambal sauce was very tasty too, you could taste it was made by the restaurant not bought. Portion was very big and generous. Environment was clean and spacious. Service was attentive with some but there was one waiter who doesn’t seem
Such tasty meals ! very impressive all we order and Such tidy clear restaurants! Plus Very reasonable price! You can’t miss that. Free parking on the corner Queens Avenue.
Had lunch recently with some friends. A new restaurant, just opened not very long ago. The restaurant looked normal but spacious and pleasant. As for the food we enjoyed the taste. The service was friendly. Will definitely be back for other dishes. If you are keen on Malaysian food I recommend t
This was my first time going the same location after the change of the ownership. I had quite experiences in craving different types of Malaysian cuisine. This one is still very new so I would give them some time to try to collect feedback from customers then make some necessary adjustments. At t
Had the shredded chicken laksa (19.50) and beef rendang nasi lemak (21.50). Overall the flavour of both was good and portion was decent for the price (given increased costs post covid) but a quarter of an egg per bowl and a tiny teaspoon for sambal was unsatisfying. For those who cant handle spice,
I must say Pudu now is my go-to Malaysian restaurant. Big portion, cheap price and very delicious food. This was the best curry chicken that I’ve ever had in any restaurant. The roti was so buttery and chewy! 10/10!
I have been here 3 times and have customized my menu based on my taste buds that day. Everytime I have been here they have done a splendid job and surpassed my expectations. It's a place one should visit and explore their taste buds and customer service is amazing, it's short staffed all over NZ so
Pudu is quite a new restaurant. We stopped by for lunch to try it out. The menu is quite interesting with things I haven't seen in other places like silver needle noodles or a duck yee mee. We didn't get those so it will be something to come back to try. We grabbed a lobak and a chicken satay to sta
we had a great night with my mates and those highly recommend Malaysian food. Even this restaurant located on very busy Dominion road, but finding an off street car park isn't an issue at all.
Good portions, affordable, tasty! Not much else you could ask for! I love Malaysian food so it was a treat to see Pudu open up on Dominion road. I ordered the beef Rendang and a noodle dish (forgot its name). Along with broccoli and chicken bites - although the sides weren’t that authentic, the main
We accidentally discovered this restaurant while bound for Japanese. The menu looked good and the the month of March and April they were offering a 15% grand opening discount. The place was bright and spacious, dishes came out fast and hot, fresh and tasty. This restaurant offers Malaysian, and Can
Attentive service table layout was quite weird given there was a massive raised table that clogs up the whole dining space and destroys the ambience of the dining area but worth a visit if you are around Balmoral and looking for a bite of Malaysian cuisine.
Had a great experience here. They have only been open for 2 months. The staff there were super friendly and the food was great tasting. We had a few dishes and most were outstanding. Hainanese chicken was probably the best of the lot. But all tasty
This was the old Zap. Saw it undergone renovations and opened. Tried fish noodle soap, different to makhorta, but different in a good way. Dry noodle is fine. It’s currently doing 15% off. I hope this place can hold on in this pandemic. Price wise, ok. Service ok. 5 star for encouragement.
Checked out this new Malaysian restaurant on Dominion Road. They have plenty of tables so they were busy with a good weekend lunch crowd and several large takeaway orders. Customer service were great, they let us know there might be a wait due to the number of tables they had, but the wait was hones
Recently visited this restaurant at night. We ordered Randeng beef Nasi Lemak, Hainanese chicken rice. The flavour was good on Randeng beef. Hainanese chicken was tender with balance soy source, chicken rice tasted great too!!
5 stars for the service. 5 stars for the price. 5 stars for the portions (our laska thigh chicken was huge!). 4 stars for the tastiness. Overall really enjoyed Pudu - so much that we've been back 2 more times since.
Been a few times to this. The restaurant was Pudu renamed as the owner also owns the Millen bathroom brand. We found the taste of the laksa, kum heong and sambal chilli chicken taste like Selera’s. The manager lady said chef used to work in Selera. I was not too keen on the Hainanese chicken rice b
