We came here for our wedding anniversary. It's a small yet cosy setup with minimal decor but the food is oh so good, with a great selection of meat and seafood dishes on the menu.
October 2022 - Had dinner with a friend, started off with a Dark & Stormy cocktail. The food is still good, we shared the dishes: Calamari, Bruchetta prawn, Prawn Curry, and the Garlic & Herb Mussels.

This is a lovely little restaurant with terrific food and service. We had the fish pie, which was delicious, and the spaghetti marinara (spaghetti with seafood) was fabulous! Just a note: this place has the best restaurant website we've every seen with photos of every dish. This makes it easy to pick exactly what you want before you come here.

The BEST seafood in Mount Maunganui. Went for lunch, stunning sitting outside in the courtyard. Attentive friendly staff, the whole package. Will definitely go again and have no qualms recommending this fantastic eatery. Thank you 😊

Great food here with very fresh ingredients and well assembled dishes. The snapper with potato gratin was delicious with the cream sauce and my friend had the Laksa which looked so yummy. We all had dessert and the cheesecake and sticky date pudding stood out. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We stayed till the end and they didn't rush us out. Will definitely come back again to try the laksa.

Food took about half an hour from ordering to table. The mussels were great but there weren't many at all for $32 - around ten mussels.

We've been there a few times trying different dishes and all of them were really good, especially the snapper ones and curry! Desserts were also amazing! We had a banoffee pavlova and a sticky date pudding. Delicious!!

The seafood platter starter is amazing! Oysters, garlic prawns, fish, smoked mussels, and ceviche.
For mains we had the Asian mussels - yum, so big and tasty! Also the octopus salad was nice but a bit too much dressing. Great service and wines too.

Have eaten here before...yum yum yum 👅 never fail to impress. Great staff front of house are attentive, welcoming just delightful. Food selection is varied not just seafood, beautiful fresh ingredients well cooked and presented. I will be back. 😀

Dining alone can be awkward and a table for one can be quite lonely but the welcoming and friendly staff sat me at the bar and provided good company. The chowder was delicious and the garlic bread tasty and crunchy, the sweetness of the coconut chocolate mousse perfectly balanced by the raspberry coulis - lovely meal and had one of the same wait staff serve me tonight elsewhere and she remembered me!

Made a booking on Friday night for two with only about 20 minutes notice. The place was busy but they squeezed us in. We started off with 1 dozen oysters, 6 Kilpatrick & 6 Natural, a bit slow arriving but well worth the wait. The mains followed soon after and the Seafood Chowder was outstanding. The other main was the Asian seafood broth and it was great as well. These 2 courses filled us up so we did not sample the dessert offerings. The attentive friendly staff made the dining experience one to remember. Keep up the good work team :)

The food was great, it was quick, tasty and efficient, the drinks were good and restaurant was well set out. The staff however were rude and made us feel like we were a liability being there no matter how much gratitude was shown on our behalf. Not one to complain but it really isn't that hard to show a bit of compassion and kindness no matter what the situation.

Read reviews and was excited about eating here as we love seafood, bit dissapointed, only good thing was the starter...asked how spicy main would be was told mild to maybe medium, it was so hot I couldn't eat it neither could my husband. The place was so packed and rowdy you couldn't hear each other, was like being in a pub

What a lovely place, The Balinese fish curry was amazing, took me straight back to Bali. My wife had fish and chips, real chips, made from real potatoes.
