Have eaten here before...yum yum yum 👅 never fail to impress. Great staff front of house are attentive, welcoming just delightful. Food selection is varied not just seafood, beautiful fresh ingredients well cooked and presented. I will be back. 😀
Dining alone can be awkward and a table for one can be quite lonely but the welcoming and friendly staff sat me at the bar and provided good company. The chowder was delicious and the garlic bread tasty and crunchy, the sweetness of the coconut chocolate mousse perfectly balanced by the raspberry coulis - lovely meal and had one of the same wait staff serve me tonight elsewhere and she remembered me!
We came here for our wedding anniversary. It's a small yet cosy setup with minimal decor but the food is oh so good, with a great selection of meat and seafood dishes on the menu.
October 2022 - Had dinner with a friend, started off with a Dark & Stormy cocktail. The food is still good, we shared the dishes: Calamari, Bruchetta prawn, Prawn Curry, and the Garlic & Herb Mussels.
This is a lovely little restaurant with terrific food and service. We had the fish pie, which was delicious, and the spaghetti marinara (spaghetti with seafood) was fabulous! Just a note: this place has the best restaurant website we've every seen with photos of every dish. This makes it easy to pick exactly what you want before you come here.
The BEST seafood in Mount Maunganui. Went for lunch, stunning sitting outside in the courtyard. Attentive friendly staff, the whole package. Will definitely go again and have no qualms recommending this fantastic eatery. Thank you 😊
Great food here with very fresh ingredients and well assembled dishes. The snapper with potato gratin was delicious with the cream sauce and my friend had the Laksa which looked so yummy. We all had dessert and the cheesecake and sticky date pudding stood out. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We stayed till the end and they didn't rush us out. Will definitely come back again to try the laksa.
Yummy fresh and tasty fish and other local produce. Had a great lunch here with some local wines. Staff are super friendly, providing great recommendations for other local spots worth visiting. Will definitely return
A very hearty meal. We all loved the seafood chowder. Outdoor seating area was nice, big cosy cushions - though lots of flies when we first sat down. Somehow they miraculously disappeared once we started our meal lol
We had seafood plater. Seafood is real fresh and fish is crazy crunch very good! good service too. I really enjoyed my lunch here.

Food took about half an hour from ordering to table. The mussels were great but there weren't many at all for $32 - around ten mussels.
We've been there a few times trying different dishes and all of them were really good, especially the snapper ones and curry! Desserts were also amazing! We had a banoffee pavlova and a sticky date pudding. Delicious!!
The seafood platter starter is amazing! Oysters, garlic prawns, fish, smoked mussels, and ceviche.
For mains we had the Asian mussels - yum, so big and tasty! Also the octopus salad was nice but a bit too much dressing. Great service and wines too.
