Found this place by surprise looking for somewhere to grab a light lunch. They did not disappoint. Both the pie and the egg roll had amazing crusts and fillings that were deliciously well seasoned. Everything was hot and ready to go. They also have an assortment of sweet treats which I did not get to try. Some outdoor seating available. I would definitely come back to try more items.

One of the best bakery in New Zealand. A must try Pie ( Mince and Potatoes top ). Good variety of New Zealand’s classic cakes and slices. Big selection of freshly made sandwiches and a very friendly service.

10/10 pies. Gravy is full of flavor and deliciously thick. The dough strikes a good balance between buttery while being light and crispy. Cannot recommend the steak and gravy enough!

Thank you to the owners of this bakery, you helped us survive the night of new years eve. You were open past 2am and provided us with a delicious meal, these pies were 10/10 with golden flakey pastry and just the right amount of meat to gravy ratio. We hope we will come visit again when back.

A pumping little bakery every time we come here. Always fresh always a welcoming gesture and smile. Award winning pies sooo good. My coffees always lovely and plenty cold drinks either in fridge or iced coffees and chocolates made on premises which are truly awesome. Clean and tidy and always excellent protocol for covid. Love this establishment so much it is a go to not just a nip in if your going by.
