Omg what a surprise when we walked thru the door. The ambience was awesome. Top marks to the staff. So friendly. The food the best yet in NZ Well done team. Highly recommended.thankyou for a very lovely evening dinner. Celebrating our 48th wedding anniversary with our friends

Nice decor, nice service, very nice food. A big garden where you can sit when the weather is great otherwise aircon inside. Open already 4.30 pm. We got pizza and they were really great. Worth a visit when you’re in town or traveling through. If you stay at the accommodation you get a free drink for every pizza you buy.

Impeccable service followed by a fantastic pizza. Got good advice on the local craft beers they had on tap. Prices are reasonable for a small rural town too.

A cold winter evening to be travelling but the bright lights and welcoming blackboard letting us know time of last service and takeaway orders reassured us we had plenty of time to stop. Sexy salmon pizza was irresistible with cream cheese, Capers and Pesto adding plenty of flavour. Husband went for his favourite Fush & chips that arrived with plenty of sauce, tartare, salad and chips. A tasty sauvignon and we could have settled in for the evening but reluctantly got back on the road. Will call again.

Brilliant dinner experience here tonight. The food was exquisite and the staff friendly and efficient. We had olives, pork belly bites, pizza (2) and cheesecake and brownie. It was all so delicious! Thank you Cow Shed team 😊

Very friendly staff and helpful good value for money recommend their world famous lasagne and the teenagers couldn’t finish their pizza so they supplied a box so the could finish later.

Absolutely fantastic Monday night special… the roast dinner. Staff are lovely. Would definitely come here again, but unfortunately just passing through and staying overnight at The Lazy Cow.

We are so lucky that we happened to be stopping in Murchison on one of the few nights The Cow is open. This pizza is delicious!!! Quite possibly the best pizza we’ve ever had. Friendly staff and well priced. Well worth a visit!

Awesome pizzas!! We just got takeaway but would love to come for a sit down meal. Menu looks great. The pizzas were really tasty with a good selection of toppings.
