One of the best places in Napier, especially if you're after super tasty Malaysian cuisine. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and it's always a treat to go to. Favourite dish is the chilly pan mee

This was one of the few places along the parade which looked like it had room for dinner so we went inside. We were seated and given menus but the tables themselves had tasty picture of the food they had. We grabbed a few things to share.
The drinks came out first and the milo dinosaur was delicious. The milo had a nice flavour and then you get the actual milo on top. I really liked the roti. It was crispy and was the perfect vehicle to deliver the curry to your mouth. The rest of the food was also quite nice but some of them like the rendang and mee goreng had a slightly different flavour I was used to. The char kweh tiew was nice and had a really nice texture.
It was a really nice place to stop for food. We did notice that they had kaya toast and egg on the menu but was only available from 1200-1400 so we weren't able to try it.

Great spot for homesick Malaysians and anyone who loves to experience some authentic malaysian goodness! I love the chili pan mee, the noodles were cooked perfectly, crispy chili sauce for the kick. Nasi lemak was great as well, the fried chicken wings were amazing. Oyster omelette was good too and teh tarik was decent, could have been richer but it was acceptable. Friendly owner who did her best to ensure a great dining experience. Wonderful experience indeed!

Took my family here, amazing food at a very good price. Excellent serving size and presentation. Great customer service, so friendly and make sure the order is taken correctly and you are aware of any allergies and special ingredients. Very authentic and great atmosphere, was a very calming space.

Cosy Malaysian restaurant with really authentic Malaysian dishes (considering not all ingredients are easily available for the dishes), Had the chicken rice and the beef rendang both great, the local drinks should bandung and rose lychee should not be missed either.

I'm from Malaysia and I really like the taste and authenticity of the foods in this restaurant, I've tried most of the stuff on the menu and they're all yummy and taste close to home. Would definitely recommend to everyone! The drinks like teh tarik and syrup bandung are authentic too, especially the syrup bandung, it is better than what I had back at home! Keep an eye out for today's special too, I had Lamb Shank with curry n they tasted amazing!

I was born in Malaysia and I don't often get to eat the wonderful food from my home country. So what a treat to be transported back at this restaurant. Food is authentic Malaysian and very delicious . Waitress/owner is very gracious and friendly. They are also very welcoming to families with children.

It’s a pity, I only discovered this place on my last night in Napier otherwise I would have eaten here every day. It’s so rare to find authentic Malaysian cooking anywhere outside SEAsia but the quality here is outstanding, as is the service. I had a nasi lemak which was delicious but the laksa looked very tempting too. I’ll have to come back the next time I’m in Napier.

I've been here a few times now and the food and service is always exceptional. The waiters are always attentive, the food is bursting with flavour, and the meat is melt in your mouth tender. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Napier.

Absolutely incredible and warm experience. Amazing food amazing people. The lady who runs front of house gave us a geographical lesson based on the food and culture. Honestly....... This is our new regular and I'm so stoked to have had such a great experience. Highly reccomend. The charcoal pork bun is a must try and has so much flavour . 10/10

Cannot recommend this restaurant enough! My partner and I came here to treat ourselves after a long time of van-life cooking, and we are so thrilled we did. The Mee Kacang was beautiful, filled with so many complementary flavours (I would advise only adding the side of chilli sauce if you can handle your spice!) and was a perfect portion size. The deep-fried banana for dessert was also absolutely delicious! The staff are extremely friendly, attentive and hospitable, and the meals came out in a timely fashion. Truly excellent, and a credit to Napier!
