Had dinner with a friend at The Fitz one night in June, 2023. We were both absolutely blown away by the quality - and quantity - of our meals. Beautifully cooked and served by attentive and friendly staff. I'd never had the dessert before (Banana Fritters), and it was the nicest I've had anywhere, for a long time. The nice wine went down well too :) Very happy to recommend this wonderful venue to anyone wanting a pleasurable dining experience.

We were sharing a room with other diners whom looked very content with meals and services. Ladys were marvelous putting up with our difficulties. Sunday roast was an excellent choice. No regrets. Beautiful every mouthful a delicious treat. Good to book your table in advance because this place is popular and in demand!

Great place good menu selection. We were walk in with no reservation on a busy Saturday evening and the friendly staff moved some tables to accommodate us. One very busy waitress alway kept an eye on us asking if all was ok. Great service thank you

Went for impromptu Birthday dinner with my bestie was amazing. JEAN .is the best waitress got us a table. And looked after us like royalty . Food was so good atmosphere cool with music. Would recommend to go for a well priced well cooked dinner. With Jean you cant go wrong.

We were part of a very large prebooked crowd. There was a prolonged wait for food as there were 4 different choices, and the meals came out in stages.
People had already finished eating by the time the last were served.
However, the main courses were generous in size & deliriously tender and perfectly cooked, and the puddings were perfect.
Well done to the chefs and restaurant staff.

Great food, great service, what more could one ask. Tuesday night is Trivia night which we didn't want to join. The girls found us a quiet table off to another area and looked after us like royalty. Thank you Jean (?) and others ,compliments to the chef.

I arrived late into town as I am on the road for work.
The staff were excellent and helpful. My meal took a while to get out, which I was notified about as there was a big group order. No worries though, as I enjoyed the rugby on the big screen tv and enjoyed some quiet time after a busy day.
My food was very good and a good sized portion too.

Was part of a large group ending our event at The Fitz. Max and his staff are friendly and coped well. Bar food was great and very generous portions. Sunday roasts are highly recommended too with 2 meat options and also generous servings. Always enjoy visiting The Fitz for lunch, dinner or just a thirst quencher.

We had a very nice meal at a reasonable price. The portions are generous and I don't think you would go away thinking of maybe stopping for a Big Mac the way home.
