Had dinner with a friend at The Fitz one night in June, 2023. We were both absolutely blown away by the quality - and quantity - of our meals. Beautifully cooked and served by attentive and friendly staff. I'd never had the dessert before (Banana Fritters), and it was the nicest I've had anywhere, for a long time. The nice wine went down well too :) Very happy to recommend this wonderful venue to anyone wanting a pleasurable dining experience.
We were sharing a room with other diners whom looked very content with meals and services. Ladys were marvelous putting up with our difficulties. Sunday roast was an excellent choice. No regrets. Beautiful every mouthful a delicious treat. Good to book your table in advance because this place is popular and in demand!
Great establishment, super friendly atmosphere, great live entertainment, great prices, good pub food, staff are fantastic, big space including function room. Can not recommend this place highly enough.
Great place good menu selection. We were walk in with no reservation on a busy Saturday evening and the friendly staff moved some tables to accommodate us. One very busy waitress alway kept an eye on us asking if all was ok. Great service thank you

Went for impromptu Birthday dinner with my bestie was amazing. JEAN .is the best waitress got us a table. And looked after us like royalty . Food was so good atmosphere cool with music. Would recommend to go for a well priced well cooked dinner. With Jean you cant go wrong.
We were part of a very large prebooked crowd. There was a prolonged wait for food as there were 4 different choices, and the meals came out in stages.
People had already finished eating by the time the last were served.
However, the main courses were generous in size & deliriously tender and perfectly cooked, and the puddings were perfect.
Well done to the chefs and restaurant staff.

Great food, great service, what more could one ask. Tuesday night is Trivia night which we didn't want to join. The girls found us a quiet table off to another area and looked after us like royalty. Thank you Jean (?) and others ,compliments to the chef.
