Review Fresha Cafe And Food Emporium - New Plymouth

I made an appointment yesterday (Wednesday afternoon). Thinking I won't be able to visit them - til maybe Friday or even Monday, but No... Thursday. 👍Less than 24 hours. Can't go wrong there. Always professional and with pharmacy next door - within the same building. So convenient.

I did a call-in yesterday for a face to face GP consultation which I couldn't get in Stratford due to ongoing issues at my local provider. I was greatly impressed with Dr McDonald who was very helpful in sorting out my issue by arranging an immediate X-ray, prescribing me appropriate medication (both of which were available in the same building) and then calling me later in the day to confirm his X-ray findings which he had sent off for an independent review.

Went on a saturday due to urgent medical issue and could not fault the service, from reception to nurses and doctor on duty. Special mention to Charlie the nurse, very funny and upbeat and nothing was too much trouble, same for Dr Grace Robinson she was very caring and professional. Might have to change surgery's.

I had to take my adult daughter in for x rays for a 10 day old ankle injury. From the very first greeting, to the x Ray to the plastering, the treatment and courtesy shown were exceptional. Would highly recommend.

As fate would have it our little girl got sick on the second last day of our holiday. We saw Dr Zoe early on a Sunday morning. She was simply awesome! So good with my six year old. Quick to run through symptoms, do her diagnostic checks and make a diagnoses. It was such a pleasure dealing with her. Wish she could be our regular doctor.

I want to thank Amanda and the team for their incredible help and care when I damaged my eyeball while hiking in the area. The whole team was extremely helpful and everyone made me feel well looked after and cared for. Amanda went above and beyond to make sure I was OK and that I was going to make a full and speedy recovery. She made a frightening ordeal a lot less scary and for that I am so grateful! I just wish we had doctors like her up here in Mount Maunganui because I have never received such great care in my entire life anywhere else. Thank you!!

Since travelling in NZ, I just popped in while in town with a bad cough that had last for more than two weeks. Very friendly receptionist, just a short waiting time. The nurse as well as the doctor did a good job, friendly, knowledgeable. Thank you. Roland, from Switzerland, used to a good but very expensive health system back home!

Amazing Dr Zara and the lovely nurses Sonia and the other 1 who helped and the receptionist and xray kady, ended up having a fracture, they were kind, caring and helpful. Thank you so much.

I'm sold. The place is well organized and professional. Dr McDonald got right to my issue, explained the treatment, whipped out the ACC claim and prescription and I was out inside 10 minutes.

Amazing GP nurse Sonja. So attentive, responsive and caring. Goes the extra mile to ensure that patients get the best possible care. Thank you so much 🙏

Just heard from my friend glen that dr.Gobal will be resigning soon.just 2 consults with him was enough to convince Andre to switch from his current gp of 10 years over to Phoenix My wife and I are forever indebted to Dr.Gobal,he picked up that my wife didn’t have a blood clot but rather was in early stage of leukemia that was causing the clots by doing a simple blood test that our useless gp neglected to do Go to Phoenix ,they will sort it out ,said my gp Yes ,he did sort it out,thank you Dr.Gobal! God bless you ,you will be missed

Exellent x-ray service.very fast,we did have to come back like literally as we were driving out,to do 2 more.the lady art he desk was really helpful as well as the x-ray person

Great team here, highly recommend, sometimes wait time is long but always professional and advise how long it will be, it is after all an urgent care service.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. Based on the customer service received here today I am appalled. I feel there is a misunderstanding about the industry one of the staff is working in, hospitality? An industry ruled by customers that you are supposed to be hospitable towards whether they annoy you or not. <br/>Instantly offended when the staff member was being rude and catty about my host behind her back, unaware that I was attending lunch with this host. <br/>This certain staff member made an effort or was blind ignorant and annoyed us/was rude. *cue scraping of multiple chairs across polished floor*<br/>The food looked delicious although my fritata had a few layers of leather that were impossible to chew. The other staff were lovely, the pie was delicious but the quality of furnishings, crockery and some staff and their attitude need to be updated. First time I have felt the need to give horrible feedback about a cafe. Won’t be returning. <br/>

Excellent service, lovely range of food, sandwiches are outstanding. Nice coffee. <br/>Good central location. Meals to takeaway also available next door.

I love coming here the coffee is always consistently good, I can go away for months come back and the coffee is still great.

Really enjoyed the food at this café, but especially loved the food emporium treating myself to some Blackpool Rock, French Breton snacks and tasty Duck pate made on the premises.

Really love this place the food is excellent, coffee superb and staff really friendly.The owner is an enigma, exceptionally passionate about his food and quality the shop is a foodies delight , if I lived in New Plymouth which alas I do not then I would not shop anywhere else.
