Stopover on the way to our destination. We got really warm and friendly responses to our queries and ended up ordering 2 plates to share. The service was excellent and pleasantly surprise that the food was great. The coffee was super nice - flavoursome and tasty with smooth coffee texture.
Quick efficient service and beautiful food. The 8hr braised beef was rich and cooked well. Bbq pork ribs were delicious and falling off the bone. The roasted Salmon had crispy skin and just cooked perfectly. Pay to call in advance and check availability and opening hours. Well worth the trip.
Amazingly friendly staff and the food is to die for! For a small town I was totally blown away at the standard of the meals on offer!! I had the Benny's with pork belly which was delicious!! The eggs perfectly cooked, pork was amazingly tender and the asparagus provided some great texture and flavour! The Public House needs to find it's way to Auckland Central.. Can't wait to stop in again!!

Stopped here when passing through ngatea. Smoked salmon and pork belly eggs bene both delicious. Salmon was very nice. Nutella pancakes yum, very sweet after a couple bites. Nice little spot with lots of parking

You know what's cooler that stopping in at a cafe with great reviews and it living up to them. Discovery a new cafe by chance that sets a new bar! Friendly staff, great portions, Gluten-free options. Everything was on point. We had coffee's three eggs bene, bacon, pork belly and salmon and all spot on, they weren't shy with the hollandaise, and the hash fries, yum! Love the decor too!
Very accommodating. They were super busy but made space for us. Food was delicious and reasonable, Service was fantastic. Overall, brilliant!
Had eggs bene with smoked salmon for brunch today, it was nice... also had the pork ribs which was delish!!! And some waffle fries... overall a tasty & pleasant brunch!
