Took my boys out to the Captains table for a late sunday lunch and Im so glad I did! We were treated to the freshest blue cod and gurnard, crunchy chips lemon wedges with Tomato n Tartare sauce � The beef works burger is a winner too!! Absolutely delicious � Highly recommend checking them out, you will not be disapoointed! We will be back xx

I took my Whanau out to Ngawi, what an upgrade this taka box is from the last! The food was awesome, cooked well, very important for seafood. I work at the i -SITE in Martinborough so it is very important that we recommend quality and great service to our customers. We will definitely be recommending the captains table as a (must stop and taste) coastal place to eat. Thank you Tash for the great service and delicious food, i will be back with my whanau or even our work crew. :)

Normally priced products and offers a good portion in general.
I tried the thick shake which wasn’t bad but if only you ask me about the difference between that one and the milk shake, I’d say 50 cents! 😅
The staff are friendly and the service is relatively prompt.

Amazing place, people and food! The owner was super lovely, helped us out lots and was great with local knowledge. Fish and chips were delish too, perfect batter, yummy gurnard and a great view! Definitely worth a stop👌🏼

Chips were served cold, but didn't go there for the chips.
The fish was absolutely top quality!

This was a fantastic place to stop for lunch, coffee or an ice cream. The fish and chips were so delicious and enjoyed in a very picturesque setting.
There is freedom camping, toilets and rubbish bins there too.

As a tourist i wanted to try the local catch. I had tarakihi. It was to die for! The City, the people and this food truck are amazing. I will come back one day and i hope it is still here so i can have some more.
I've been frequenting this place for 25 years now an while sometimes there's a wait for ya tucka, it's worth it. The fish is amazingan always fresh an the chips are cook perfect everytime. As if the view wasnt good enough, eating the food with the view from captains table after a day's diving or fishing seems to enhance the atmosphere 10 fold. Keep up the good work. Us locals love out
Fantastic fish and chips by the beach!! We stopped here yesterday for a family picnic lunch and really enjoyed eating out on nearby picnic tables. The pieces of fish were beautiful, fresh and generous in size. In fact we would come back here (from Wellington) just for the food! The service was slow but the truck was busy. Thanks!
