Food was fantastic! I like how you can customise your meals up to your own preferences like less oil and sweet. Portion was just enough for one person. Overall, it was good with reasonable price.
This restaurant has become a favourite takeaway among my friends and I'm always excited to order it. The vegan chicken is arguably better than real chicken! All meal items can come with your choice of meat, tofu, or my favourite vegan chicken. Highly recommended!
Great , delicious food always had a good experience here. Staff look very and friendly and atmosphere is so pleasant! BYO wine allowed and meals are reasonable and worth it !

The Best Thai in town! Very friendly staff and consistently amazing food everytime. Love the panang and unbeatable price. Even better now that they’re on Uber eats!
Decided I wanted Thai for lunch, so took a walk here to pick up some takewaways. Enjoyed the price and taste - on the cheaper side, and the amount received was great. I ordered the Panang Curry - and while it wasn't the best Panang Curry I have had, but it was definitely cheaper! It was still tasty and enjoyable. Great bang for buck and I would order it again.
A true hidden gem. Tucked away in the Northcote village centre food court is Khun Pui Thai. Not sure if the average star rating is because of the setting, who cares, the food is great! Couldn't believe how cheap it was! Thanks guys,
A regular go-to!
I have been going to this foodcourt for well over 7 years. My partner always orders the same thing from Khun Pui. 22.9 chicken lava, and have never been disappointed. The staff are lovely and the food is amazing . Pricing is very decent and good sized portions too.

Food ordered:
Tom Kha Seafood
Fresh Ginger Pork
Garlic & Pepper Chunk Squid
Mix Entree
Bill: $34.50
Big tummy: Another one for the "How did it take us so long to find this place??" files. It's a bit of a mission finding decent seafood chowder/soup on the North Shore (seriously... if you know of a place, drop me a recommendation in the comments below), but the Tom Kha seafood soup at Khun Pui would be one of the better finds I've made. The flavour was zesty and packed a punch without being too spicy. The amount of seafood was reasonable for the price too, with the dish including 1x prawn, 2x mussels and 3-4x pieces of calamari.
As for the entrees, the garlic & pepper squid was seasoned and cooked well enough (served with sweet & sour sauce to boot) - buuut I did feel that they were a bit on the small side. They really are chunks of squid (which is stated on the menu, so you can't really fault them for it I guess). Since this was our first time to KPTF, we decided to give the mix entree a crack, so we could try out a few different items. The spring roll, curry puff and chicken toast were a bit "meh"- I found myself dipping the chicken toast and spring roll in my soup to add a bit more flavour. But the chicken satay and accompanying sauce was just sublime - I wish we had ordered more.
All in all, I'd definitely come back to KPTF just for the Tom Kha and chicken satays.
Little tummy: I'd been craving Thai or Malaysian cuisine and my bf has been on a bit of a health kick, so we found ourselves looking for a new Thai/Malay establishment which lead us to Khun Pai. I chose the ginger pork on rice ("soooo Asian" - Big tummy) for myself and we shared the entrees. The highlight for me was easily the pork - it had a nice flavour to it and was, for the most part, cooked well (there was one piece that was overcooked to the point of it being impossible to chew through, as if it'd been stuck to the bottom of the pan). The pepper squid, chicken satay & toast and curry puff also got the thumbs up from me, along with the seafood soup (I managed to sneak a few spoonfuls while my bf was busy with the entrees). The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was the spring roll - but I have kinda high standards for spring rolls, since I make my own homemade ones. I'd be happy to come back and try their other dishes though.
This one is an authentic Thai cuisine! I am always impressed of all the Thai food that I've tried. You can never be wrong when it comes to their food! Good service and affordable price!
This place is always open in the food court even when half of them are closed. Food was good, quality better than most at the other joints. I ordered calamari fries and sizzling childlike lava. Overall good, fast service and nice staff.
I had a Special curry hot, coming with rice.
Red curry paste,Coconut milk based vegetable, sliced chicken and 2 prawns.
Really good food! The Nam Tok is awesome! And the lady working there is always nice and smiley!
Food City might be a shell of it's former self but if you want a tasty weeknight green curry at the right price, it'd be hard to find better than theirs. Heaps of veges and meat and the heat was just right. They were really efficient making our order too.
Lovely lady making authentic Thai. We definitely come back again.
Also love those deep fried shredded chicken with garlic that sell on the counter (she said her friend is making)
TASTE AMAZING! Awesome customer service. Has been my daily go to for lunch or dinner. Highly recommend to try their food. Don't be afraid to ask for the chefs recommendation!
Nice food with good portions. Taste is fine too. Its jus the sauce was too sweet for me
This is our favorite Thai place. They make authentic Thai food and very fast. It deserve 6 stars. They have good prices.
Had a take away from them. Asked them for extra favour and they tried to fulfil it, food was really tasty definitely gonna order/come again. :))
Had the Tom Kha, Satay Chicken and Chicken cashew nut stirfry. The place was pretty busy, but that didn't stop the chefs from speedily producing, very filling, delicious meals. I was extremely impressed by the service.
One of the best Thai takeaways on the Shore I’ve found. Well priced, reasonable serving sizes and quick service. This is our default for a Friday meal after a busy week.
Edit: a little disappointed in recent price increase percentage wise and what seems to be slightly smaller servings. Sign of the times I suppose. 11/22
