Been here many times, it's a charming traditional Kiwi tearoom with honest food, value and service, all of which is hard to come by now. It takes me back in time. Steak and mushroom pie and the sandwiches I had were really nice. Nice array of sweet treats on offer too. Recommended.

After traveling up and down this country. Lagonda has the best coffee and Chai. The steak and cheese pies are fantastic. Highly recommended

The Lagonda staff are always friendly and I have been going there for years. The food is always delicious, and they are quite happy to tweak things to taste. The prices are great value.

This milk bar and restaurant reminds me to a time when I was a young lad in Sydney and we had these restaurants. They are few and far between now. I just grabbed a milk shake but it was the best Strawberry milkshake on my 2 week holiday. Wish I had more time to get something to eat. Super friendly staff and great offering of cafe meals. Get something here if you are in Oamaru

Old school goodness! Retro untouched, it’s just perfect. The layout, food, booth seats are all just like stepping back on time to early 80s Please don’t change! I purposely plan to travel Through Oamaru hungry just so I can fill up at Lagonda 💗😇🌸

We were recently on holiday in the south and decided it was worth extending our trip to Oamaru. So very pleased we did as this was our stop for a real old traditional Kiwi Tearooms. Their thickshakes are to die for and served in real mikshake maker cups, none of this plastic/wax stuff. Food was beautiful, prices very reasonable, service impeccable. Will recommend this place as long as I'm alive.

Lovely staff! Very friendly and welcoming. Food is great and fairly priced. The kids absolutely loved their meals, one of them got an eggs on toast while the others got chips and nuggets etc but the lady who served us and brung it out felt bad that he was only having eggs in toast so she brung him some hot chips aswell. Such a lovely thing to do! Thanks team 🥰
