What a treat "The Cyprus Tree" was! Ticked all the boxes for service, delicious food, interesting menu, presentation and atmosphere. Beautiful dining experience! 10/10 Oh did I mention there is an Air Hockey table out the back for kids young and old?

Great place to stop in for something to have a coffee & eat...my ham sandwich was great, fresh bread and the ham was thick, real ham with plenty of it.

Welcoming and warm atmosphere. Very thoughtful regarding the kids play area. The food was exquisite and extravagantly delightful. One of the juiciest Venison I've ever had. Quite a decadent culinary experience and that too for the whole family.

We had small plates for sharing and they were all very tasty. If we had found this restaurant earlier, we would visit again definitely. All plates were great. However the soda drinks are tap drinks and it wasn't that fizzy and warm when I got mine. Since it was only $4, so I didn't complain it. Still enjoyable with their food.

Wow! What a great place to spend the evening! The space was lovely with a fire in the corner which heated the room perfectly. The atmosphere was lovely. The staff were kind and funny. The food was GREAT!! So delicious! And the margaritas were good too 😉 We really liked that the kids had proper menu options, so they could have steak and veggies if they wanted. Our boys chose spaghetti & meatballs which were clearly homemade balls and delicious. There was fuze table and air hockey outside which gave the kids something to do while they waited for their food, and our lovely waitress came and told us when our meal was ready. Thanks for the perfect end to the day team!

Really delicious food. Every dish had the perfect balance of base ingredient and spices. So often chefs get too heavy handed with their favourite flavour, but at this restaurant the chef had achieved the ideal levels

Popular restaurant in Ohakune on the main road. Tasty food with generous portions on offer on the menu. Kids meals available as well, with the option to pay $3 more to add a drink and dessert for the kids. Staff were lovely and the place was busy. Booking is essential

Lovely place to go-to for Tapas and a drink. Great kids area, one spot for the little kids and outside there is further games for the older kids like air hockey. Slightly on the higher pricing, however for its location and food flavors its comparable to your main centers. Accommodating to dietary requirements. Booking recommended. Only one recommendation would be for a fire guard to be installed around the gas heater by the little kids play area.

Just walk in on a winters night and see the beautiful wood fire with couches. Food was good, we ordered Tapas to share would have been nice if they spaced them out instead of them arriving all at once. But that didn't stop us from enjoying them and eating them. Just made us look like piggies. Nice spot, good food
