Fabulous food and service! I am a vegetarian and tried out the eggplant parmigiana wow! Unreal! So crispy and delicious. We only got photos of the starter because our mains were so delicious and we forgot to take photos! The service is good and everyone is so friendly and inviting! The outside ambience is top tier! Great place to dine in Ohakune!

All the reviews say it all. 5 stars for our experience here. Garlic fried bread! Yum! I should of got more garlic prawns! The lamb and beef cheeks were melting!!! Even now I cant stop thinking about it.

An unforgettably superb dining experience on 17 July at Ohakune. Our waitress Maria was very pleasant and friendly, the Duty Manager Tamara too! We ordered the lamb shoulder for 2 and was served a feast. The lamb was tender and hashbrowns which looked like made inhouse were scrumptious. For dessert we shared the fudge brownie served with ice-cream, biscotti, whipped cream, raspberries and berry coulis. Excellent service. Food was amazing.

Waiters friendly, pleasant dining experience. The porterhouse was bit overcooked , however the seafood chowder was very great. Pita bread with chowder was unusual . Now good wine menu is there. $20 main apply to simple dishes worth trying but prices do not match the value for money.

Lovely food and great atmosphere. They were able to cater for our group of 7 adults and 3 children at short notice. Wait staff was wonderful....wish I got her name so I could mention her here. Unfortunately didn't get many photos...was too busy enjoying the meal.

Great service, delicious food and nice atmosphere. Make sure you try the Garlic bread entree, delicious. Absolutely love the outdoor area, especially in winter too! Try this spot for dinner when in Ohakune 😊

Nice and cosy decor. Food was real tasty and priced well however larger portions would have been great, but after a day of Snowboarding and an aching body this was just what was needed to feed the soul.

The Industry Bar and Grill is the place to go. Monday night is ribs or rump night for only $20 each and you get a beer with that as well. Dane the part owner chef was there, he's a lovely man, very happy always smiling and makes you feel very welcome in his restaurant. We are on holiday from Invercargill and were passing through Ohakune on way North and stopped in for dinner. If you want great food and a friendly chat then go to The Industry Bar and Grill.

Great food and atmosphere but they somehow missed our two seafood chowder orders - which was two out of six people in our group. Also, they need to do something about the flies...

Just had a meal that exceeded both mine and my wife's expectations. Generous portions, great value for money. We both ordered different starters, mains and sides and they were all delicious 👍 I had garlic fry bread that was AMAZING. Chicken confit with onion rings and fries that were all delicious. The dessert.......I don't normally order dessert as I have been let down a lot.... NOT THIS TIME 😁 Brownie, Berry's, ice-cream and cream topped the evening off 👍 Friendly staff, great atmosphere. Can't recommend this place enough ❤️

Industry Bar & Grill is an absolute gem of an eatery. The food absolutely mouthwatering, the staff always with a smile and helpful attitude. The chef is at the top of his game and cooks to perfection. Highly recommend the lamb dish for 2, the meat is tender and perfectly cooked. The fry bread is definitely worth trying. Can't say enough about this eatery, try it, you'll be walking full and satisfied. As for the cost...spot on and value for money.

Literary the best meal we have had for as long as I can remember. 7 ppls 7 meals all really great mouth watering food. So nice to go out and think at the end that was worth every penny. 3 pork ribs meals really tasty came as a rack and not drowned in sauce or precooked till there is no taste left. Really yummy. 1 sirloin steak (med rare) 1 porterhouse steak (medium) both cooked perfect. 1 lamb leg , meal for two to die for perfect. All meals came with roast veges except pork which had fries and slaw. Tasty veges. Great local craft beers selection. Meals came out fast.

This restaurant is the place to be in Ohakune! Unfortunately we couldn't book a table but went on the waiting list and luckily a table managed to come up and thank goodness. Food is great, tasty and succulent, I would recommend the garlic fry bread and the beef cheek. Portion sizes are fairly decent and I didn't leave hungry. Service is quick. Price is very reasonable. I would recommend to ANYBODY going to dinner in Ohakune go there. I just hope the prices don't go
