The halloumi sallad was good, but a bit small for me, don't get it if you know you have a big stomach! Otherwise portion sizes were good!

Stonegrill is a must try (we tried lamb), it's both a delicacy and an experience. Fried squid was great as well, melting in mouth instead of being rubbery as it sometimes happens with squid, especially in se asia.
Fireplace and warm welcoming service only added to a nice feeling in a cold autumn day.
Would definitely drive specially for this place if lived in surrounding towns :)
The full breakfast and the loaded potatoes were both very generous portions. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.
This place is my regular breakfast stop when I'm in Omarama.
It's always quite busy, especially in the summer months but yet the service is always quite excellent so you never seem to be waiting long.
Food & Coffee is very good and very reasonably priced.

Great food _ great service. Didn't have to wait long for the coffees. My wife had spinach pie as she is a vegetarian and raved on the whole time about how amazing and tasty it was. Infact asked who makes them!!! A local person in Twizel. Wow. Will definitely stop on the way back.
Beautiful cafe in quaint Omarama. Beef burger is enough to feed 2 pax. A highly recommended stop for traveling between Christchurch and Queenstown.
