First time trying Manaia seafood boil, and it was beyond our expectation!
We got bundle bag for two of us, and it had various seafoods including clams, crab, mussels and prawns which gave full of different tastes in the mouth to enjoy!
It felt very interesting to watch unbagging of the seafood bag in front of us, which will give extra fun to guests I believe.
Will definitely visit again with people, and highly recommended to try!
Booked for my birthday. I really enjoyed the seafood boil. Staff are friendly and helpful. I ordered the $90 large tray and paid for some extra lobster tail 😍😍 it was the beeesstt. The food was so delicious. The place is clean 🤩 they have indoor and also outside as well to enjoy the cool air while dining. Anyways thank you Manaia. Will definitely buy or dine here again. Oh 100% recommended, worth your money.
Loved the lobster tails!! Beautiful sauce used. Perfectly cooked. Steaming hot on arrival to the table. Great variety of options. You can dine in or take away.
Service was fast. Wings were crunchy and dressed with chili buffalo sauce, imho lack a bit of seasoning. We ordered medium (for a family of 5, 3 adults, 1 teenager and 1 child)just added some add ons, price is reasonable. Seafood boil taste ok. Overall pleasant experience.

We ordered a medium platter and it was more than enough for me and my husband and 2 girls. Loved the prawns and mussels, not crazy about crabs though but honestly you can't get really nice crabs here in NZ so that was a bit expected. Customer service was great. We came in an hour earlier than what i have booked but she was more than happy to accomodate us since there was a table available.
Highly recommended. Can't wait to go back 🙂
Me and my friend went and ordered the medium platter (no sides). The waitresses were very sweet and helpful. The food came out quick and hot, and tasted absolutely amazing. The sauce is buttery and garlicky, very savoury and a little bit spicy. They provide gloves, bibs and paper towels. The medium platter is honestly an amazing deal because by the end me and my friend were so full, that we still had leftovers to take home. Overall, amazing experience would highly recommend 👍

Otai is $7 and overal they make coffee 💪🏾🤎 and seafood is emasculate word from my family🥸💛😣😣 I don’t eat seafood just the hotwings xox side note : pls make a separate dish for people who don’t eat seafood but only attending because the people they are with wants seafood 😂 but other wise great overall! it’s peri peri sauce I had with hotwings 💪🏾👁👄👁⛅️⛅️ try it xoxo I went with my family at 5pm today not knowing you had to book and the girl serving us gave us a head ups that If we can dine before 6pm because all seatings are reserved then we can dine 😊 thank you to our server! She has blonde streaks! We couldn’t stop thanking her & the workers enough! We managed to secure a seating and finished at 6pm ✨✨💪🏾⚡️ Thank you so much! Will be dinning her again! Only giving 4.5 on food because I don’t eat seafood but there were options for me also! Our tally was $110 or something because we got otai and coffee plus my hot wings and rice so platter was $80 or $90 and rice was $3 and coffee price is standard 😁☺️☺️ Thank you again!
Bucklist ticked off.. First time experience of a seafood boil. We left full and with leftovers. Yummy sauce not to spicy. Bought a selection of the panakeke, German buns, cook island donuts for desert. Then Otai was delicious..Well worth the drive to Onehunga.
