We traveled from Auckland on the ferry to Waiheke Island to have Sunday long table lunch at Poderi Crisci. Authentic Italian food is served to the table to share and plenty of it. The restaurant made us feel like we were somewhere in Italy, the food was a delicious feast. Allow at least 5 hours.

An idyllic, Italian inspired vineyard and restaurant with wonderful wine tastings, great food and a fantastic atmosphere. The service was top-notch and we enjoyed getting slightly tipsy over the course of our wine tasting. Wine tastings are free if you purchase a bottle afterwards.

Delicious Food, Attentive Service and Beautiful Location. The gnocchi was the best I have ever had, so light and fluffy. The steak was the perfect size and the sides it came with were delicious. Such a nice vibe when sitting outside.
Very scenic location. Pretty good food, but definitely on the overpriced side, so choose carefully. I would advise to come here and get the bread (pane) and the plate of charcuterie, plus some red wine which is the specialty (the charcuterie pairs well with the red).

Excellent restaurant love the idea of a slow meal and every meal with its own wine locally grown. The service is excellent and this is not a place you eat in a hurry it takes at least 3 hours to go through the excellent meal. Love this restaurant.
Really beautiful, excellent food especially the pasta!! Forgot to take photo of the pasta, the tiramisu is also outstanding! Will definitely recommend if you want some real good Italian food in Waiheke Island!

Wish I took more photos of the food but it was a lovely experience. The glass of prosecco to start in the garden was a lovely beginning and everything else that came afterwards was brilliant. The food tasted as fresh as they just picked it from the garden.
