Had an absolutely amazing dinner there this evening! The food was incredible and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely be coming back in the future!
Lovely restaurant, the staff were friendly and helpful. We had no problems with (small) decorations on the table for my daughter's birthday and they helped with the cake as well.
The food was delicious, fresh and appealing. My mother had tofu with her dish which she usually doesn't like but loved the silky texture and flavours.
The wine list was good, not the usual offerings and reasonably priced.
The restaurant was clean and intimate and we certainly want to return!

As novices, we chose the set menu, and were very happy with our choices.
This was the first time we had tried Hayami and it did not disappoint the meal was delicious and was plenty to fill us up. The miso soup was extra tasty and I've been known to leave that for others. So all in all an amazing meal and great attentive service.

I’d really like to give this restaurant 5 stars because their food is absolutely delicious, I love their extensive menu and they are soo friendly! But I came here on a Saturday night at around 8:45pm and they said sorry we’re closed now and they were ready to walk out the door, when their hours say they close at 9:30pm, it was just a let down as we had made the trip from Albany deciding this Japanese restaurant was the better option than the one down there, and ended up missing out on both. Another time I called on a Thursday night at 7pm asking to place a takeaway order and they said sorry we’re only doing dine in. Just annoying experiences with this restaurant unfortunately, although I have dined in on two occasions and it was great.
Lovely fresh sashimi, the beef tataki was delicious also. Sua served us and was absolutely lovely
