What a fantastic venue... pool table and sports screens downstairs and super views from the top balcony. Love the onion rings and the food and service are both awesome!
The interior is a lil run down it seemed but that was all forgotten when our burgers turned up and what an amazing burger it was. And views of the ocean to match.
On a positive note, this restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere, particularly on good weather days, with seating and tables overlooking the seafront. It stands out as one of the few genuine beachfront restaurants in the area. The food, while not exceptional, had a satisfactory taste, although it was a bit salty for my liking, possibly due to the use of salted butter and additional salt. The bread, unfortunately, was slightly over toasted. Despite these minor issues, the overall dining experience was enjoyable, and the staff members were friendly and accommodating.
Quite nice and relaxed. Bit noisy and we had to rush because kitchen was closing.
Check hours before going to have more time selecting your meals.

The calamari was probably the best I have ever had and I eat at a lot of restaurants.

I organised a baby shower for a friend with the help of Steve at Beach House Eatery. Steve was so responsive to all my emails and the event today was so great. The servers were incredible and patient, the food was outstanding, the view is something else and I absolutely cannot fault anything. Highly highly recommend. We've all come away on a high!
The most delicious fish and chips with the freshest of Snapper, and the most amazing view when sitting out on the deck.
10 ladies gathered here for a festive Christmas lunch yesterday and by all accounts the food, service and atmosphere was brilliant.
Great communication too when I booked snd had to change the numbers before the actual date.

Had a fantastic time at the beach house eatery yesterday.
Simple pub food but was so fresh and tasty.
It was labour weekend and very busy but staff were great and went to great lengths to give all diners good service.
The atmosphere was fantastic it was a beautiful day the views were stunning. We stayed about three hours but never felt as though the staff were trying to hurry us along so they could reset the table for more diners, although we did move outside eventually as it was such a nice afternoon.
I would recommend the beach house eatery to anyone who is looking for a child friendly restaurant.

This is definitely the best place we've eaten at in NZ. We stopped off here on our way to the airport and sat on balcony. We had a chicken and bacon pizza, a tomatoe and mozzarella salad and the most amazing calamari I have ever eaten. We couldn't fault the service either. I am so sad we are at the end of our holiday as I would love to be able to come back here again. Maybe next year 😁
