We just had amazing Armenian coffee with the tastiest cakes ever and selection fruits, the owners/staff are very lovely and offer amazing service! I can’t wait to come back for dinner, the food in the dinner/lunch menu looks very tasty! Thank you so much for your warm hospitality and yummy food!
A tiny culinary paradise in Jackson street. Very simple menu and hosts are very friendly people . Food speaks for itself homemade fresh salad and kebabs . We have become diehard fans of the honey cake , Napoleon and the kebab meats .
To the owner - We are on the fence regarding the pricing..we prefer to eat all the time at your place but your prices are bit high ..if you want to pull the crowd in masses, your mains should be between $15 and $22
Fantastic food and service! I ordered the Chicken Shawarma kebab and couldn’t fault it. No waiting and I had my amazing fresh kebab in under 5 mins. Great / fresher alternative to nearby Kilim. Give these guys a go. Great addition to Petone.
If you are looking to reviving the taste of your nostalgic time in pre-NZ life, or bring back memories of that awesome trip to Yerevan or Sevan lake, or you love trying something new that is not easy to find in South Pacific - look no further. Armenia restaurant is not a white table formal dining venue, but you will be magically transformed to another world - visually through the decorations and artefacts brought by the restaurant owners from their home country, through taste of traditional Armenian food. You will be warmed from the depth of your heart with the most friendly welcome of hosts. We had kebab wrap, it was enough to feed two for dinner, and the cake provided as a bonus was home-made with love - just like my mother would make. The food is honest, the portions are generous, and the conversation is good. What are you waiting for?
The food is mouthwateringly good. The staff so kind and welcoming. Unique cuisine in the Wellington region, I can't recommend it enough.
