The best cafe for lunch in Petone. Stylish and engaging surroundings. Modern pristine with a display case filled with delectable treats. The cafe was full with good reason. Each item looked fresh well made and delicious. Price was very reasonable. A constant stream of locals buying take away usually says it all...
I settled on the ham sandwich and coffee. More croissant than bread roll ... the mustard ham cheese and baby spinach was melt in the mouth delicious... I had to try the choc lamington - WOW! Even the table water was infused with citrus... If in Petone this is a must visit. Only negative was surly albeit professional staff, however the two girls were busy and everyone was given a “thank-you come again”.
Fantastic Cafe that is worth stopping in and enjoy. The coffee is great and the food is fresh and have vegan options.
The orange and almond cake was simply devine. It is worth sitting out the front window and watch the Jackson St activity while sipping coffee.
Likewise it is worth getting a bunch of flowers, carefully curated from the great staff at the Cafe.
I wish I'd taken a photo before I started reading this but, to be honest, I wasn't expecting to have my socks knocked off by a pie and a coffee! The chicken and mushroom pie is possibly one of the most delicious pies I've ever eaten! 🤤 And the coffee was delicious! Thanks, Gorgeous team! 😎👍

I think this is the perfect cafe for me. There is really great coffee, they have vegan treats that I'm not allergic to, and you can bring your dog inside (squeels with excitement). Bonus, I took my baby as well, and they had books I could read to her.

Great coffee and the best cheese scones in Wellington. It’s a small place but very clean and full of natural light. The staff were also very helpful to my son who asked them for a plaster for his finger.
Attracted by the name I stopped for a coffee. Wow! I love meat pies!!! These guys commute each day into Wellington CBD (Central Business District - downtown) because deliveries from their supplier are inconsistent... to grab the best tasting and quality meat pie around. I'm hooked... fantastic!! 😁😇🤘✌🙏
